How to open an URL link with an app ? Using browser - General Questions and Answers

Hi everyone,
I'm trying to open a link with an app using browsers (I tried with the default one and Firefox Beta), but they block me opening a link with an app,
It's a button to pay using PayPal, but it open the website instead of the PayPal app, I searched for an app to force what I'm trying to do but I didn't find anything, I's still looking for, I hope you could help me, thanks guys
PS: The site is VirWox (for deposit)

I tried several times but don't work, I think it's the site that didn't enable the function, do you have an idea to force this ? (I searched for an app but didn't find)

I've been looking this up for a while and can't find anything for sure other than making sure stay logged in for purchases is checked in the app. Do other PayPal links from your browser open with the app?

I've the same problem.
I search something with google app and there's a result from amazon.it, when I tap on it, it opens the browser instead of amazon app.
I checked the amazon app in android settings-app-app links and the supported sites are just amazon.de/.co.jp/.co.uk/.com
There isn't amazon.it and that's why it won't open the app.
Surely there's a file somewhere that contains these links. But WHERE???
Please help!
Thanks

[Q] Is there no app for up/downloading files to Google Docs?

I have been searching for an app for the last 3 days but couldn't find anything that fits:
Requirement:
*simple app for uploading and downloading (any, not only "office" files) to Google Docs, basically something like the Dropbox client but only for Google
* optional automatic sync over wifi
Am I really looking for something that does not (yet) exist?
Someone told me that an app with such functionality is unwanted by Google?!
Greets,
Georg
PS: Sorry if I post this in the wrong section, couldn't find a better one...
Tried Docs by Google?
Yes, I did. But there is no option to download files directly to my device. You can only upload and edit files as far as I know...

Some time ago I was using this one: https://market.android.com/details?id=art.wild.gdocs . It does what you want, I think. In addition it uses oauth and this is a big advantage for me, because I hate to enter my Google password into some apps.
Web browser?
You don't really need a specific app for every website on the internet.

[Market Problem] App marked as paid, cant install

Hi,
half a year ago I had a "HYBRID" called Rom installed on my Phone. This Rom had several premium apps (aka warez) with them. Accidently, I tried to update some of them back then.
The Rom didn't last long on my phone but now I have problems because of that update-try it seems.
The App "Tapatalk" is marked as paid in my Google Apps section. If i click "Install" it says "Error 403" (not authenticated I guess).
There is no way to remove the app from my App Section it seems. I tried requesting a refund, describing my problem but only thing I got back was a mail telling me that it is a free app?!
Anyone has an idea how i can remove this app from my list so I can buy it?
I had no problems buying other apps so far (Root Explorer and PowerAmp just yesterday), its just this Tapatalk app.
Thanks for your help!
regards
From what I have read it looks like you will not be able to remove it from your list. Did you try clearing the cache and data for the android market app?
Had this problem myself before.
only way I got around it was to freeze market updater, Downgrade to an old market, one of the original greeny ones. 2. something. Then unlink the app from the market. I then choose to buy the app. Then unfreeze your market updater and let it update or flash a new market.
You will need to reboot after most of those steps.
This should hopefully help as it did for me.
Yes. I also have tried a workaround with market fixer that i have found (clear google service framework, delete links, reboot and such stuff).
The app is also marked as "paid" on the Google Website (https://play.google.com/store/search?q=tapatalk&c=apps)
Thanks StephenC82. I will try that!
I've the same problem, but my paid apps were all downloaded for free on GetJar -_-'
I've sent a bug report, they contacted me and after one thousand emails (where they asked me to reset the phone twice etc) they told me that they're working on it and I've just to wait for news from them...
Good luck bro, sadly we're in the same boat
The market thing didnt do the trick, but this topic helped!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1547134
The Javascript code did nothing, but inspecting the element + changing the value to "false" helped. I clicked "purchased" again and it asked me for the payment informations. After that i was able to download the app via the normal play market on my phone
Glad you got it worked out.
Greatttttttttt

lol funny popup
clean your phone and only put on apps that came with the phone from the factory.
check to make sure the problem is gone.
try installing only a couple extra apps at a time until you figure out which one is causing the problem. im betting its an app that did not come from the play store.

I searched on net and found that tradeexhange is a malicious site it puts its malware in many browsers and hence it was redirecting
I uninstalled all the browsers and now its working fine

browser that does nothing?

So when I click the ads by mistake on some apps, it opens an message to select which browser I will use to open the advertisement link. Then I thought that if there is a browser app that doesn't to anything then if I make that browser app as a default for opening the advertisement, the advertisements wouldn't be any bother to me.
Of course, such browser would be a harm to google advertisements, so i could't find such on the google play store. And so I wondered if there is such browser app developed in xda forums, but could't find such app here with my poor googling skills
Or is it technically impossible to make such browser application? I mean, are there some requirements for an application to be recognized as a browser, so that an browser application that doesn't do anything cannot exist?
If there IS such application, please tell me! :good: thank you
