Maybe your not using Launcher2.apk?

Same here, I am using Launcher 2, but great job Britoso!

This is great work, but I'm still mainly trying to get the genie widget in a transparent via morph or recovery. Searching Nexus threads and coming up empty handed here.

Why are you using launcher 2? I think Launcher is better

It skips genie.apk for me. Also, search is still not transparent, but I'd prefer it that way.

Have you managed to get the Buzz widget transparent? It doesn't work out for me even tho I've signed it.

I tried uninstalling, deleting, force reinstalling, signing....
Either get a "INSTALL_PARSE_FAILED_UNEXPECTED_EXCEPTION" or "INSTALL_FAILED_UPDATE_INCOMPATIBLE".
note: The widget apk is named com.google.android.apps.updates.widget.apk

If I wanted to undo the calendar morph, how would I go about doing that? Is there a way to restore the original calendar look? Thanks

Great question.
I dunno though.
I would think it would either be just as good as the stock rom or maybe better since I removed a lot that could have been running without our knowledge. ??
I am plugged in almost all day long so battery life is never an issue.
Please provide some feedback if you do choose this rom.
I would like to know and I'm sure others would like to know as well.

Been running this rom for about an hour now & it's just flying. Very fast as soon as it had a chance to settle down a bit. Nice work!

stock apps replacement

Hello folks... I am looking for some apps that will replace the stock apps like maps calculator gallery and all that nonsense and anything else you'd offer as a good selection of apps I also am rooted so that is not a problem.

Handcent is also a good messaging replacement. I like (so far) OI file explorer, too.

I personally love gosmspro and andro file explorer

Here's another vote for Quickpic to replace Gallery, although I'm happy with Gallery. Fancy Widgets is a nice replacement for the stock widget. Still haven't found a good replacement Weather Widget, though.

Gosms pro for messaging
make your own clock for clock widget

GoSMS Pro for Messaging.
QuickPro for Gallery - The stock is not that bad but it could be better.
Mobo Player for Videos.
If you don't like Sense, there are a variety of lauchers (Go Launcher, ADW, LauncherPro, and etc.)
ES File Explorer - I prefer this over many others because it have a clean UI and also have quite a bit of functions.
WidgetLocker for lock screen.
Handy Calc, Cube Calc, or RealCalc for Calculator.

ADW Widgets

I am on CM7 which came with ADW and it was fast. But I need good calendar and power toggle widgets( wife, gps, sync, mobile, brightness..all in one), so I switched to GO Launchers. HOwever, GO seems to be really slow, noticeably so. ANyone else seen this? I did freeze ADW and my quadrant score is actually the same, so it must be a Go Launcher thing?
Are there good power and calendar widgets that you can recommend for ADW?

I use widgetsoid and pure news widget scrollable...im not sure if they are still on the market though.

APW (Android pro widgets) is very good for calendars and different feeds. Elixir is one of the best power toggles I've used. So much stuff you can do with it. And its free!

Apw has the best contact and message widgets, if you get the pro version make sure you install the ics theme for it, it looks superb

I'm running launcher pro plus.
As long as you have launcher pro plus I'm sure that you can freeze the apps above.
I did it myself and I didn't have any problems.
I also know where Rosie Utility is used for and I blocked it and I turned on [DESKTOP] HTC Sense and I figured out that I couldn't use the lock and weather settings anymore.(lock screen still works only the settings not)
