Hey guys, I just recently rooted my phone and installed the newest Cyanogen ROM.
But I have a problem.. Whenever I try to install apps to the internal memory on my phone it will crash and reboot before it installs...
Also when I try to copy apps to my phone from SD card it says 'Memory full' but I still have 170MB's of internal memory available.
When I use the Terminal Emulator on my phone to 'fix_permissions' it says Permission denied for each one..
I have manage to use the ROM manager to do Fix Permissions, but it didn't fix the problem.
Could this be I have somehow lost root?
Or would it be something went wrong with the ROM installation?
Thanks.

Hi
I had an Atrix and used it for three months, then the internal memory (SD area) seemed to corrupt - I could not format or unmount it or access anything in there apart from copying files with Astro or ES File Manager. Even a full factory restore of the phone did not delete any of the data on the Internal SD (or Media Area). Ended up getting rid and getting an Optimus 3D.
Now, had the 3D for a month and can't believe I am having a similar problem. Android market apps kept disappearing on boot up (this is what started before), and randomly they would be there or not on each reboot. I moved some files using file manager from the internal to the external SD to create some room and my phone got stuck in a boot loop so I had to remove the battery and external SD for it to work again. Then, all of the apps on the internal sd instead of their icons had the android sd symbol and when clicked on say 'application not installed on phone'. When I look at the Sd and memory storage, the internal SD is nearly full still! I can't access it, can't factory reset it, or delete data. Surely there is some way of sorting this without yet another handset - it's gotta be a fixable glitch? In desperation rooted phone with Superoneclick which was really easy but doesn't help me because I can download from the market, etc, but can't actually install - I am stuck in the install 'candybar' for ages and it just won't work. I thought of manually deleting all of this stuff but I can't get a file manager onto the phone and the factory reset wiped out ES and Astro, I can't get them back on in the usual way.
Because I have root access now, I presume I may be able to use ADB through my PC to sort this problem - but of course would need exact commands etc, on how to do this through the command prompt? I am not an expert but think I just need to get rid of the carp on my internal SD which must have a corrupt file somewhere. Please help urgently, it is frustrating beyond belief and I almost feel like going back to Apple!!!!
Hello,
I'm having some problems with an old (rooted) samsung galaxy apollo (i5800). I tried to flash CMW recovery but afterwards, I
1. Don't have it
2. ! I don't have any internal memory !
The second one is the main problem. Sometimes I read that you don't need internal memory for installing a terminal emulator, but when I try to install it, it still says: not enough memory. Installing on my sd also doesn't work (I just can't). Does anybody have a solution? Also, the phone resets itself everytime I boot it. I can get into the recvery mode, I thought may be something with the update.zip?
Thanks in advance!
Hello, i'm having a problem here. I have a Galaxy S5 and i am using XtroLite Lollipop Rom for quite some time now. Yesterday i decided to flash the aroma mod of it's rom so i could add the option fo multiple windows. I had done it before with the same aroma mod and it worked flawessly so i flashed and it did work, but then i noticed some errors and when i looked the explorer both of my storages (internal and external) are there but show no files inside and apparently give no access permissions, the only thing i have permission to access is the root folder. When i go to philz touch recovery i can check the files on both storages and they are there its most likely they are just not accessible. Tried to plug to a pc while on recovery but no deal. I searched google a lot but didn't find anything related, i also can use most of the apps that were installed on the phone but can't install any newer, cause of internal storage being inaccessible, and im without a terminal installed atm.
I kindly ask for some help, thanks in advance.

Alright, I've tried everything I could, looked online(/in the forums) for solutions or help, but I just can't figure this out... After struggling a great deal installing the 5.2 update on my K1, I decided to simply flash the 5.2 recovery os image and start from there.
That went fine, so I went to install Magisk to root my tablet, but that didn't go as well. I ran into the same issue I was running into trying to update to 5.2 which is that my storage doesn't properly mount in TWRP (it works normally when using a file manager on the tablet itself and gets detected as it should by the storage manager in settings). I formatted the SD-card I'm using as partially Internal/adaptable storage and partially external, which is probably what causes the problem as TWRP shows the external SD card perfectly, but of the internal storage it only shows the contents of a folder named "InternalStorage' (presumable /sdcard/internal storage, however I can't actually see this to confirm) which is present on the root of the internal SD card. Any files that are in for example my Downloads folder on the internal storage aren't shown in TWRP. I thought installing a factory image would fix this issue, but it hasn't.
In either case, to get around this issue I sideloaded the Magisk zip file to root and it wen't as expected, didn't get any errors. But after booting my tablet, the Magisk Manager app wouldn't finish loading, it's stuck on the flash screen with the Magisk logo. Used the uninstaller and reinstalled through TWRP by placing the zip files on the external SD card and the app still won't load properly. I figure it has something to do with the way I have my SD card setup/partitioned, but I'm at my wits end as to how to fix this atm...
Any help will be appreciated! Preferably something that doesn't include re-partitioning the SD card
PS: The tablet was rooted with SuperSU before the factory reset, but I'm wanting to make the switch to Magisk because I want to install the Sony Framework to use Remote Play. If there is any other way to install the Sony Framework, using Xposed for example, I can maybe try rooting with SuperSU again.
EDIT: I fixed the issue, turned out the app was installed on the external sd card, moved it to internal storage and it worked!
Hello
I recently rooted my 5.1 Android Huawei phone with kingoroot and it worked well for a while
The main reason I did is to gain space on my phone by linking apps to SD card by link2sd
I did that and all worked well
Until i restarted my phone for some reason and all those apps disappeared
It happened twice and apparently the second time SuperUser app was in the sd card
I got frustrated and ended up formatting the sd card and creating a new ext partition and all
Now i re installed my SuperUser app and it's not opening
not only that, Link2sd isn't opening too
and i think all apps that need root permission
Kingoroot app apparently works fine and says I do have root
I installed SuperSU and it says SU binaries are occupied
Root permission apps just keep loading and crash eventually,
It's frustrating to me cuz my phone storage is very limited and i need to link app to SD card
How can i solve this?
Thank you
@Zen999xx
Try replacing Kingo ROOT with SuperSU from https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/2020-replace-kingroot-v5-x-or-kingo-root-with-supersu.3904880/
If that doesn't solve the problem, then it may be Link2SD fault not superuser.
