I haven't found anything. I am still looking for a forum that has any real info about Acclaim related stuff.

You might want to check out sdx-developers.com. I think there's going to be some people working on stuff over there.

Read hack kit thread. Read effen manual. Do your research, educate yourself before you ruin your new phone. The hack kit will work, please read everything before rooting

Agreed
The best thing you can do is educate yourself. It sounds easy. I didn't have any problems. But there is plenty of room for error during the rooting and after when your flashing your phone. And unless you like paperweights the 10-15 minutes to read the manual and understand it probably won't kill you.
yes yes, do LOTS of reading. And don't be afraid of it. and if something comes up that isnt described in the hack kit threads, just stop and google what happened. best thing to do is just stop and start researching. worst thing you can do is trial/error with rooting your phone. err, dont even google just search using the xda search, since google will just direct you here anyways lol. good luck and enjoy having #

Considering that attn1 has been having to update the hack kit lately to handle some of the newer bases, I would be a little concerned about it working on a phone from Mexico. However, it does appear to be Froyo, so I don't think it is a newer base and it should go well. The radio is a bit curious though. I hadn't tested that one and wouldn't mind doing so. I'm going to search for a download and see if I can get a matching ril.

I'm just trolling
In fact, pegajoso already install a custom rom successfully. Let him told us how

It's actually fairly easy, just do some searches remember google and youtube are your friends , doesn't take more than 30 minutes.
Please do your research before you go to far. Being that it is a Mexico rom there are many diffs that may cause you issues like your radio.
Now as for the flat out insults I saw in this thread. You know better.
What do you think of this?

Cool
I want this build on all of our ROMs
It might not work for us because of kexec, I think somewhere it said using rom manager to boot into recovery breaks something. I think this is the same dealio.
Yeah, once everything is figured out, this would be very nice indeed.

tres sympa !

I think it is amazing
I am a little worried that it may bring many idiots, who wouldn't otherwise do it because of the hassle, to try flashing roms. This will lead to a mountain of bricks, ocean of tears and book full of the same questions over and over.
Sweetness, Thats pretty awesome
Hello
I've searched the internet up and down.
Does Samsung give us an oppertunity, to download org. ROM?
I need for several devices, both for development and updating my phones.
Samsung KIES software is so crappy, that i rather do it myself.
I hope the answer isn't here, so it isn't me
Hope you guys understand, english isn't my first language
I'm not sure what you are asking for. Are you looking for the original ROM that came with the phone? Google should be able to point you in the right direction. And there is no need to ever use kies, you can back up everything easier with third party apps like clockwork mod or titanium backup. For me kies is just bloatware that never works right

more info bro didn't understand a word you said.
Hey if you're looking for original Samsung software the best thing you could do is sign up with Samfirmware.com they have all the old and new software online
Don't forget to hit the thanks button
send from omega phone
Samfirmware .com is the old domain. You should register at www.sammobile.com

Thanks guys!
Its was exactly the thing I was searching for..
And again, I think my english is understandable, but it can be hard to find the right terms.
And I agree that the Kies software is crap..
Thanks again

QUESTIONS
If anyone needs to contact me feel free to drop me a PM. The only forum I am using on XDA right now is the X6 which is our sister phone, we have created an alliance to help one another to push our phones further into the future since all vendors have failed us.

Did you make sure to do a full wipe and reload of the ROM? Your best bet would be to post on Android Forums as there is a ton of users that can assist you. As far as I know tethering is working or we would have more users barking about it as a lot of people use it.

Hi,
has anyone ever rooted a T-mobile MOVE 2.2.2 phone?
I have found extensive topics about rooting other phone models, but found only one topic about the MOVE model: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=16049789#post16049789
Could anyone confirm whether the "GingerBreak-v1.10.apk" actually works?
If you want to know if Ginger break works, try bit out for yourself

The MOVE obviously is not a very popular phone (given it is still on Froyo lol and I've never heard of it. I pretty much know every brand name phone so...), so it is doubtful that an actually user can reply
If you want to take on this tone, then allow me to ask you why you even posted this in the first place? You post when you need help, NOT to confirm if something is working or not when you have not even tried it. XDA is a dev forum and you will always be wondering if something (such as a ROM, recovery, mod) works, is compatible with your phone, if it helps in x or y way, etc.
The best way to answer your question is to try it yourself, and that is why my answer answers your question.
Given the fact that someone else used it and is the only source you could find, isn't your question answered? Thus this thread is useless and could you explain how this thread has any purpose?
In simple words, don't get fresh with any member who definitely knows more about rooting than you.
