Since HTC HD2 USA is a little different from the European version, is there a working Windows Phone 7 that I can install on it? Step-by-step directions would be appreciated. THX

I'd appreciate it if someone can tell me whether Verizon Wireless will offer an official upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.5 for the HTC Touch Pro 2 (CDMA) and to HardSPL the device is it the same as it's GSM counterpart or different? Thanks in advance!

There is a forum posintg.
If you read it, it is going to point you here http://www.pcdphones.com/phone_downloads.aspx?bid=128&cid=1&mid=356&carrier=VerizonWireless
that is the officaily update, it has been out for several weeks now. I believe there is a discusion on XDA and PPCgeeks all about it.
Thank You!
Thank you! I did the upgrade today after I Hard-SPL'd the device and settled on NRGZ28s latest CDMA EnergyROM with MaxManila for my wife's Verizon Wireless Touch Pro 2 and it's GSM counterpart on my T-Mobile Touch Pro 2. I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate NRGZ28s work on both and I must admit VW's version of the device is really, really cool and thinner than I expected.
Hi Sorry if this is misplaced.
I'm trying to contact HTC head office to ask the question listed below. If I use the HTC web site, my query gets defaulted back to the HTC agents in South Africa who don't answer my questions as they don't support Windows 7 any more only Droid
Question1: Is : HTC HD7 T9292 Schubert Smartphone - (16GB) (Black) (Unlocked/No Contract) still current or is it going to be discontinued or replaced with a Super LCD screen. I notice that an 'S' version has been launched for the States?
Question 2: :Will the HTC HD7 T9292 Schubert Smartphone - (16GB) Rom be upgraded with Mango by HTC shortly?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
I was looking to buy an 8X and had a few questions before I do I was hoping someone could/would answer:
1. I was wondering if anyone can post suggestions of reputable retailers that sell the "HTC Windows Phone 8X Unlocked" that will work on AT&T with 4G LTE.
Please note I am looking for the official "Unlocked" version straight from HTC.
2. Is it possible to share the internet via Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/USB with the 8X to a PC or other device?
3. Can any one post highly recommended custom ROMs for the 8X?
I am coming from an older HTC HD2 using Dutty's ROMs and I am looking to see what I can do similar with the new 8X phone.
Thanks.
1. I bought it straight from Bell Aliant (Canadian AT&T). Hence, I couldn't recommend you any retailers.
2. Sure is! As far as I know, you can only do a Wifi Hotspot.
3. There's no custom ROMs for WP8. It's a Windows Phone, really not as open as Android. But really, you don't need a custom ROM. I was an Android fanboy before switching to Windows Phone. I loved the idea of customizing my phone and using the latest, fastest ROM. However, this phone is seriously the fastest phone I've ever used, without even having a custom ROM.
I bought an unlocked and unbranded Bell (Canada) 8X. It works 100% on ATT after a couple of tweaks like APN's. I believe that AT&T and Bell are the only two versions that will work with AT&T's LTE. Do some research and check out the exact model numbers before purchasing.
