Hi my Friends, Please Report any Problem with Primo-S Rom.
Not leaked In Orginal Post.
at first By My Phone :
1. No sound & Mic not Work In Ver.3.0;
2.Downanimation not fixed in display ...
If you read the thread, you will see that there appear to be quite a few reports of sound not working during calls (including by myself). This seems to be a common problems which is sometimes cured by rebooting with a cache-wipe.
Unfortunately this is sdtill very much a beta version and I have no hopes of it becoming stable until HTC release the full version of ICS for the Desire S so we have the correct kernel and hardwae drivers.

I'm afraid that I disagree the reporting of sound issues during calls has been reported in the ROM across all versions. Even though I've never experienced it myself, but I only really try the ROM rather than seriously test it as I appreciate that its still early days.....

Any Solution ?
For Example, change build.prop.

None found so far....seems to be intermittent, if you read the ROM thread you see that I've already attempted to find if there is a common factor, but haven't found one so far, it can often be resolved by rebooting, which isn't good, a phone which doesn't function for calls is pretty useless to me! Although this is cutting edge ROM port still awaiting the correct kernel version so needs to be given time.
I dont understand since Im not a dev but why is it that sometimes the updates have more problems than older builds. So an update is not always what its cracked up to be. Is this from fixing one bug which causes other bugs that the devs dont see till its released ?

A lot of it is because htc f*cked several things up in the RUU's - the only 100% stable one I have seen is the Tmous one. Also because of the scripts like deodexing and other apk optimization scripts some devs use, random bugs can be introduced.
I recently flashed my first rom, going from stock 2.3.3 to Fallout 4.4.0. I always had the sms delay issues on 2.3.3, since flashing Fallout 4.4.0 I've still got the issue, but I also have text messages going missing as well.
Do any of the ICS custom roms have the SMS delay fix built in? Or is there a way to apply the fix to any rom I use?
Thanks
I've never had any issue with text messages going missing or any delay issues, either on stock or (currently) on CM9.
Are you sure it isn't a hardware issue with your particular phone instead of software?
It is a noted issue with some Desire S handsets. Why it's only some I don't know. There are a lot of users with this issue - link. It's also been discussed here on XDA.

I do vaguely remember something to do with this issue, but I think it was solved by an HTC update a long time ago. I can't imagine that any current ROM has this issue - it was a base software fix, not an add-on fix AFAIK.
If you are getting this now then I suspect it is something other than the ROM causing the problem.

That link also points to the software update that brought the Android version up to 2.3.5 as fixing the issue, why didn't you upgrade to 2.3.5? I still think it has something to do with your hardware and the fact it is only some would make me think that even more.
I presumed that any rom after 2.3.5 would have the fix but it was still happening on the ICS rom I tried. Today I have flashed 2.3.5 (version 2.10.401.9). I've still got sms delay
It's looking like it's not a software issue but I don't understand how it could be a hardware issue. Surely a hardware fault would mean they either do come through or don't, not the occasional delay or one going missing. So far my phone doesn't seem to have dropped signal when idle, so it 'may' have fixed something at least!
If my memory serves me correctly then the issue was related to the radio that came with the 1.47 update many moons ago
Sywepd form my DsereiS
That's interesting. Perhaps I could update to a custom rom and change the radio. So far the delays have been very short and none have gone missing so it's definitely better than before. I'd hate to be stuck on gingerbread though.
Long story short.
When SGS3 first came out and there were CM9 Betas, I tried them out, no major issues until I lost my IMEI, Odined back to stock, Restored no big deal. Fast forward to two days ago. I tried a CM10 Nightly, in which I F'ed up bigtime, Leaving me in the middle of work, with an inaccessible internal SD. Luckily, I still had a CM-9 20120719 Unofficial and a gapps-ics 20120429 on my external. Flashed them both had CM9 again. First thing I did was get Rom Manager, DL the 09-01 Nightly and gapps 4.1. Dirtly flashed it right over ( I intended on ODIN'ing when I got back home anyway) Boots up....
STABLE AS EVER. IMHO just as stable as CM7 on my Droid X (incredibly stable), better yet, no major bugs that many people have been reporting. Only minor issue I noticed was music being paused via notifications and currently that isn't an issue, but I've been playing with settings and apps all day, not sure what fixed it.
The reason I pose this question, is because in the Dev forums (which I'm not allowed to post in...) there are many people who say this is stable and clean, and many other people complaining about everything under the sun. My theory is that because I had to flash CM10 over CM9 I am seeing stability and no issues. 2 Days of love
Has anyone else flashed 10 over 9, and running stable? Has anyone else done so and had major issues? Am I just a lucky SOB?
I already tried finding out the status of cm9 but apparently it's a ghost ROM and nobody gave me an answer. There isn't even a thread in the dev section for it. The only thing I could find was 1 post saying it was a stable release but no links or any other info. That's it. Everybody seems to be drooling over cutting edge bugged filled nightlies of cm10 to care.
Yeah, I ran AOKP M6.1 until things started rolling on Jelly Bean. Only issue I had was no MMS.
If you google search CM9 for SGS3 there is a ton of info for it.

so I can't post links. but look for Droid Life, there is an install guide on it/
there are also install vids on youtube.
I'm not sure if this is the right place for me to post it... On the Tab 2 forum there is an area for this in the development area, but I couldn't find it. Sorry in advance if this doesn't go here.
I just installed the nightly for the 20th of CM10.1 and I'm getting a lot of SystemUI force closes. Wondering if anyone else was having this issue or if it was just me?
I know... It is a nightly so I'm not fussed about it but if it is just me, I'll look into fixing it on my end but if others are having issues with that ROM then I"ll probably flash back to the 18th or something.
Thanks.

There is another thread for cm10.1 issues and whatnot, its not a big deal to me, but I've seen people freak out! Haha
Anyways, lately there's been a lot of issues with the nightlies lately. The new CM (around march 18th) came with a new kernel version, from version 3.0ish or something to 3.43 ish?? Anyways, the new kernel fixed some issues, but also caused some new issues since its still fairly new from my understanding. I've had one system ui force close, and MANY freezes. Also, there for a while it would freeze during calls, but I haven't had one of those for a while now.

Thanks for the information... Yeah, I actually had more freezing when I was stock then with the CM builds. Where might I find the other thread? I must be blind to not have seen it.
