NDS emulator - Android Apps and Games

I've gotten all the satisfaction I can out of my GBA emulator, and I was wondering if anyone knows of an NDS emulator. It's ironic that I got my hands on an Evo and 90% of its use is for Pokemon . Google doesn't have much information on it, but I saw a couple YouTube videos of people using one. They were in an oriental language however, but I could deal with that...
Thank you.

Psx4droid

Has anyone heard that google removed psx4droid from the android market.

There's talk that it's just a trademark violation. They may be able to reintroduce it if they change the PSX part.
Who cares, FPSE is a better emulator and actually gives credit where credit's due.
Can't they still remove fpse from the android market

If Google continue to take away emulator and rom app out of it marketplace, ppl will gradually stay away from Android.
You want to point the finger at someone then point it towards Sony. I don't really have a problem with it being taken off the Market. It's not Google's fault nor should it be a basis to leave Android because you can't play a ripped PSX game. Besides, its not like people can't host it on a separate website.
well imagine you just bought the Psx4droid then later they just took it off and made it inaccessible to get it, despite just backing it up :/ aint that some ****? 4.99 in the trash lol

I have Nesoid and N64oid Free (original right?), The n64 one's roms are larger files but are great other than that. I play Galaga on Nesoid pretty much everyday before my Chemistry class.
You can get both of these at the SlideMe Marketplace, niether are avail on the Android Market, they're too good for the market

Pokemon Emulators

Hey any sound advice for getting pokemon games on my skyrocket? I'm researched it and it seems there are ways to get some older ones on, but I was wondering if the newer black/white era ones were available.
Thanks
No the black and white games are ds games. There aren't any ds emulators that I know of. I play leafgreen and emerald and they play great on a gba emulator.

Idk if emulator and or roms are allowed to be discussed here but their is a DS emulator thats in demo stages i believe.

There is nothing wrong with emulating games and talking about them in these forums. One thing that should not be allowed is uploading the games or giving links to download them. They should be backups of the games you own.

What he said. NDS emulators on phones are still a ways off. I believe the major problem would be simulating two screens at once. But there are other emulators that let you play Pokemon games from GBA and GBC. Personally I think GameBoid and GBCoid are the best. They are very fluid when playing games and I rarely ever have issues with them. I actually just finished a run of Pokemon Yellow the other day. Lots of great memories.

It can be done, it just probably wouldn't look very good or wouldn't be very easy to program that in. But some PCs have issues running DS games. They typically require good CPUs.
I have a Intel Core i5. DS games run fine on it, they make my fans go off like crazy though, just saying.
They did start a DS Android port, but our devices are pretty slow for it. It's not like running a Gameloft game which is optimized.
The Bell released version of this phone has not got its update to ICS and I am encounteringa problem where on any of the "oid" family of emulators where the A and B buttons overlap on the transparency layer. In short, pushing either button counts as pushing both. Rendering the emulator useless. Is anyone able to confirm if the SkyRocket had the issue pre-ICS update?
I am running emulators on stock gb from my skyrocket without any issues. I use slideme market to get the really good emulators from Yongzh. They are all free but don't think they have been updated since google pulled them from the market/play store.

Gameboy Advance emulator with Linkcable?

i know there are many threads about gameboy emulators. But i wanted to start a thread about a gba emulator that can emulate linkcable. I heard of nes emulators that can usw multiplayer per BT/wifi (don#t know how it works). If there is anybody who can create a gba emulator that can emulate a linkcable i would also pay for it or credit him per paypal. i think many people would do the same and are interested in this.

I think I read somewhere that link cable support for gba is just not feasible/possible due to the way it works. It was coming from an actual developer, which is why I stopped looking for this entirely. I'd love to be proven wrong, though.
I think he mentioned that there are megabytes of data almost randomly transferred at any moment in time and there's little to no latency allowed. So it's very unlikely that this will be supported anytime soon
From what I gathered, a link cable session is something entirely different from a multiplayer game with multiple controllers plugged into the console. In the latter case you essentially just push the input values over the net and accept what little latency there is. In case of the link cable, whole portions of the game rom are transferred and everything has to be in tight sync.
But... I'm just talking out of my ass. I remember this from back when I was looking for this precise feature. It might or might not be true.

Honestly wireless communication should be possible but may vary depending on device hardware. The PSP has a gba emu and a sneak one that supports wireless linking. It Even has an adhoc file stranger program to send files to other psps via adhoc to each other which also would be great for our phones. What wee really need is for someone to start porting this kind of stuff. It is possible just not reallly attempted.

If you look on the computer side of things, linkcable supporting GBA emus aren't really polished and it took a big while before they were even available/working. While I don't know the specifics myself of linkcable sessions, I'd back you up with what you said which is pretty much what I read myself.

PS2 Emulator for Android

Plain and simple.. I'm looking for a GOOD, SMOOTH, and DEPENDABLE Play Station 2 Emulator for Android.
Sent from my Transformer Prime TF201 using xda app-developers app
There isn't and wont be one on current hardware. Wait at least a year or 2 and you'll be there.
Long wait man!?
Sent from my SGH-T989 using xda premium
Yeah, I think, long way to go..
In my opinion, PS-genre emulators are growing and maturing slowly. Porting them to handheld just means more time to get it STABLE and DEPENDABLE.
Though, I am too, curious about it, mate.
Omg just imagine San Andreas on ur handheld omg

More or less stable emulator exists only for PS one
Devices need to be ALOT more powerful than the device they are emulatoring, this is why PSone emulators are only just becoming good now, and also why you do not get Xbox360/PS3 emulators for PC (even high spec ones)
Consoles are specially designed hardware. So its emulation on other devices is really a tough thing to do. Because other devices cant render the high bit rate polygones and for that devs use other ways and delays. Which is resource consuming and overall quality is affected.

My Nexus 10 is better than your tablet. Hah.
I used to use PSX and it was great but now i am looking more for PSP emulator...
im o Galaxy S2
cheers
anyone try that?
It is impossibile now to see a PS2 emulator on Android. The current hardware isn't powerful enought to run PS2 games on an emulator. However, there are two PSX emulator that run great on Android. One of these is FPSE.
psx4droid is more preferable for me

The reason that we need so much resources to run emulators is because they are not the true Game System OS. it's just taking a rom and translating it to something that's usable.
If we could get our hands on the true source code of a console, then that's when you would see smooth fast emulators...
