missed call notification app for windows mobile smartphone - General Questions and Answers

OK, Any one has noticed that Windows Mobile 6.1 makes a threaded history for each contact / number in your call history?
Also i don't know why its sorting out contacts by name rather latest calls first.
When i was asleep, i got two missed calls. When i woke up, I couldn't even find those numbers who made the missed calls. How pathetic, I figured that out 30 minutes later after going through my entire call history of almost 150 numbers, which persons were calling me while i was asleep.
Is there any tweak that I can sort out calls as "Latest first" in my call history rather showing contacts in a descending order and make me play hide and seek for another hour?
PLEASE NOTE THAT ITS WINDOWS MOBILE 6.1 FOR SMARTPHONE
I know this feature is in WM6.x for pocket pc

Consolidating the Call History in WM5

Hi all, just curious if there is a reg hack or software out there that can consolidate all the calls recieved, missed, or dialed out from a WM5 pocket pc phone? In other words, is there a way to group all the calls from a specific phone number whether I dialed it, it came in, or missed it in order to keep the call history in some order?
Just curious...
Thanks!!

Full Call History in Windows Mobile 6.1

Is there any way to make my device (HTC Touch) display full call history by default (not only missed calls)?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Mlh
First of all I think this does belong to the HTC Touch section.
Second, I don't know exact wich dialer is being used but as far as I know there are several ways to show the information you asked for:
1. When you open the dialer. Hit right soft key and press Call History.
2. When you open the dialer. Hit the right or up to show the Call History.
It's not HTC related. The call history (I am talking about) is part of standard Windows Mobile system and since WM 6.1 the call history is filtered to show only missed calls by default. :-(
Could you post a screenshot? I think it's the dialer that shows the missed calls...
This is a real bummer. i don't know if its an HTC problem or a Windows 6.1 problem, but I don't really care to see ONLY my missed calls when I click on "Call History" with windows mobile 6.0 i used to see all my calls - dialed received and missed.
Now it only shows me "missed calls" with the three click option of showing me "dialed, received or all" calls.
I'm using an HTC Tytn II.
Does Kaiser Tweak have an answer to this?
anyone find out how to fix this problem?
Full call Hystory
Windows mobiles devices are fully featured in many areas, but it is ironic that one of the ways in which they are limited is in the phone functions. This can be rectified with Handy Assistant, an application that monitors and manages your incoming calls. I had the same problem on my Sony Xperia and on the Htc Diamond 2. On top of that you can download Pontui Home 2, Icontact or IDialer. These 3 applications can make the job,I have the icons of those on the screen on Spb mobile shell 3.0. Unfortunately Handy Assistant is not free.
All the best

Grouping call history WM5 and WM6.

Hi All,
I am using a HTC Wizard running WM5.0, I also have HTC Hermes running WM 6.0. I would like to know if there is a way to ask the call history to permanently group the calls based on the caller.
For instance lest assume that I called Joe 10 times and he called 10 times, the call history would show 20 entries, one for each call. Instead, I would like to group all the calls from Joe into one entry, which should show the phone number and the time of the last call. Once you open this item, then it should show all the calls ever made and received by Joe and their times numbers etc.
WM6.0 has the ability to show all the calls made by Joe once you open the the item Joe from within the call history. But still, it would not group all Joe's calls into one entry in the call history itself which is what I want to see.
So, is there a way to do this? Or is there a software which can do this?
Yes, I know about menu->Filter->By caller. But this one is temporary and you have to pick the name from the list. Which is not what I am looking for.
I am NOT sure about what the dialers do. Can they help me accomplish this? Perhaps the diamond dialer?
Thank you for your comments in advance.

Displaying Caller ID to contacts dialled from Call History

My network (AT&T) has a setting which allows me to display my caller ID only to contacts. When I call a number in my address book.contact list, they can see my number but if I just dial a number not in the list, they can't.
But I've noticed that when I call people who are in my contact list from my call history, they see my number as "private". It's easier to dial someone from the call history list than to pick them from the huge contact list I have.
Is there a way to show my caller ID (a registry hack perhaps?) to people who are in my contact list, even if I dial them from my call history?
I'm using a Tilt that runs Windows Mobile 6.1, but I've seen this issue with both Windows Mobile phones I own (the other one is a Cingular 2125 smartphone with Windows mobile 6.1), so I think this is a general Windows Mobile issue than a phone issue.

[Q] Missed call behavior

I'm new to the android world (just got a Mytouch 4G) and have a vexing issue. I'm a broker and get a lot of calls from random numbers not on my contacts list. The problem is that for missed calls, I call the person back, but the number is still listed on the call log with the missed call. Is there any way to instead have the standard behavior I'd always been used to with older symbian and win-mo phones of automatically clearing the missed call icon when I've called the number back?
Sometimes I have a lot of calls to make and can't get to missed calls until after making those other calls... now when I see a missed call, I have to look through all the numbers I've recently dialed to make sure I haven't already called them back. Am I just missing something, or is there a way to get the desired behavior?
