hard Reset.

What do you mean "default manila"? 2.1, 2.5? Did you switch to Titanium? Install a theme?

hey i had install this cab file
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=716539
but it doesnt work out so i have uninstall the cab but it doesnt work out
and want to restore back my original one

I see.
Did you soft reset after you uninstalled it?
If it doesn't, you can find the stock clock cab, or as Frank said, you'll have to hard reset....
They usually uninstall though.

thanks a lot my friend and sorry for my bad english

Go to Settings\Device Information\Software Information and find your Manila Version there.
Then you need to find a clock for that version by searching eg, Manila Flip Clock 2.5.1921.
This will hopefully keep you from having to do a hard reset.
Anytime you uninstall a Manila tweak, you have to perform a soft reset, no data loss, by pulling out your stylus and pressing the small red button underneath.
If that doesn't fix it, you'll have to do a hard reset by powering off your phone, then hit power button, while holding both volume keys until white screen appears, then follow the onscreen promts. This will set your phone back to factory settings and all data stored on it will be deleted.

It should do the trick, I've instaled and uninstalled that clock myself and it worked after a soft reset.

Nice work on those clocks BTW.....

You'll get more help if you post in the thread where you got the ROM, instead of starting a whole new thread about this topic. Mod's this is an unnecessary thread.
This a thread for this
There is a thread open for each Dutty's rom!!! Just post there, do a thread search or read the posts...
Is things like this that makes the forum a mess.
Focus people!

You MUST do a hard reset after flashing. It's not optional. Try to hard reset the Kaiser, find out why you can't do it and how you could do it (search).

im trying... nothing...dont work...
any new ideas? :-(
make sure you are actually pressing the right buttons to do a hard reset...some people get the boot loader instead because they press the wrong button config.
See the pic I attached. Hold the two soft buttons and then hold in your stylus to the reset button until you get the prompt to clear the device. Press the green 'send' button to start, and then again once it is finished to restart your phone.
i can not get the cube to rotate
You guys really need to be posting this in the dutty thread. Not because we are trying to be rude. But because more people who have used/are using this ROM and are smart, check the Thread for the ROM more then randomly titled Threads, like this one.
Also It helps keep the Search easier to use. Now If I go to Search and Type in "dutty hybrid cube" I'll get this one. And this thread has no information. Always remember,
IT IS BETTER TO POST IN AN EXISTING THREAD THAN TO START A NEW ONE!

Soft reset/shut down-cab

Anyone that could give me tips for an soft reset cab?
I now use xdashutdown but on my TD2 the symbols are tiny.
I am looking for a cab with soft reset and power off in the same app,not just soft reset.
And yes,i have been searching, but find nothing.
Hi,
Try to search A-A Reset
BYE, Bobo
Have tried that, but in TF3D i can not see A-A Reset in the program list.
I must use file explorer to look it up.Even if i install the A-A reset cab...
I want something i can put in the program menu,so i can reach it fast.
wouldn't it be easier to just press and hlod the power button ? It closes the phone and when you press it again, there you have it : a soft reset. (only one button, and no installation needed)
It's a .exe no .cab.

It 'true, but the virtual button preserves the hardware key, especially for those who make frequent soft reset.
And also you can schedule
Because my cooking activities I've to soft-reset lot.
One of the first programs I put in a ROM is ClearTemp.
Has a option to soft-reset.

forgot where i got this, but it is here from xda developers... but this is the best so far... real credit to whoever made this, sorry I forgot the creator hehehe.. I am just passing this must have app to you guys...
what I do, is change the right soft key of TF3D2 from camera to Shut Down using some registry tweak, so I can shut down real fast without using the hardware power button...
cheers
I use My Soft-reset and it works well on D2.
HD Tweak comes with a separate app 'HD Soft Reset'. It appears in your programs and can therefore be saved as a shortcut in Start/Programs separate from HD Tweak. I use it, and it works fine! Just another idea to add to those above.

I use wei's soft softreset (freeware)

does work fine, I hate the ugly button... (= small blown up button)
- empty - sorry!

Remove the stylus
take the back off the topaz

The Topaz is fiddly to soft reset. You don't want to keep opening the back to get to the soft reset red button. This is a pain. I use this programme. It is small, simple and does exactly what it says on the tin. Thanks to Raissak.
Maybe some will not agree wit me, but I don't find the usefulness of soft-resetting applications.
I mean if the phone is usable (i.e. not locked by an application, game etc.) you can soft-reset by pressing the Power button, tapping Yes and then press Power button again.
The problem comes when the phone gets locked by an application.
Here, I cannot soft-reset either using the Power button or using a soft-resetting application.
In this case you still have to open the back cover.

Very good point. However, I am constantly changing my programs which requires a lot of soft resetting. I am too lazy even to press the Power button and so want a small app to do this for me!!!!

Did you read what i've written???
I think it's the weird behavior of BsB which is causing the problem. Let me guess, did you install BsB immediately after the upgrade? I did not, had no problems whatsoever, but later after a hard-reset I immediately installed BsB and yes, had the same weird problems as you described.
Good lock

Press the Windows button then press the soft lock key in the bottom left. This could make it work again but it doesn't for some apparently. Worked for me though.
Same for me, just locked it once manually, then it works again. Didnt need to install anything.
Bloke
I had the same prob. the best solution is to check auto lock in BsB. After that exit BsB but DON'T soft reset with BsB. just exit. Then Power off the phone and switch it back on manually!!!!

Many, many thanks!!! This worked!!!! Now i have Auto Lock again!!
These thing did not work for me ether.
I did the follow:
holded the "turn off" button down, and pressed the device-lock button, and then it worked.
Good Lock
Power Button tips works but not after soft reset. Yuo should use this exe:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5086288&postcount=2
And then copy into Windows\Startup so each time HD2 boot, it will start also the lock screen, then after you switch off the screen the lock will be always active!
I ve upgraded to 1.48 3 days ago, since then i ve never came across that lock screen problem nor the other mail problem, others appear to associate these two together.
I havent installed BsB tools though i dont know if this has something to do with it or i just got lucky or its some other app that makes the conflict that i dont use.
