Awesome G-sensor animated lock application

Can anyone port this to the HD2 ????????
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XdbQAnPN4jU
wow this looks awesome !
Yet another toy... if you like this kind of fetish get an iPhone. It is the best in that area. Do not forget what PPC means.
You just can download it here: *CLICK*
Tried it and it does not work. Getting an error when I want to apply anything in settings...
Yes this looks great ,but how to download it? on developers site there is no download link ...
Ups got it
click on the title of the post.. then it will forward to the download
Hmm doesnt work.Error.....
This is what the site says about S'Skin Lock
S’Skin Lock Application has 1 setting menu to set locking time and screen backlight.
Currently they are working on Samsung Omnia only, I have tested them on HTC HD2 too but they aren’t running. If any of our readers got them to work on their devices let us know.
it's on
http://www.wmskins.com/blog/sskin-lock-new-animated-lockscreen-application-for-windows-mobiles
must have hardware detection inside, even on samsung it only work on certain model.
i would like to have that 2
i checked and it requires the flashlite_mmi.dll
it is available in Omnia2 dump OS.nb.
Dont know if it uses any more sensors from Omnia. I would like also to use this one on HD2. Any more advance ppl could help maybe?

has anyone contacted the developers regarding a htc compatible version?
We can try to install the adobe flash lite 2.1. Now I can swtich on the setting button in the startMeun. But the srceen lock still can't run. >_<

Whether I have sent an e-mail having asked there will be a support of other phones. I look forward to hearing. And program YellowMan, Butterfly I have started on the HD2 but G-sensor does not work in the program.
But the blocking picture is displayed also an unblocking works correctly. In Butterfly the butterfly flies at a touch to the screen as is shown in video, but the back background is static.

Which steps have u taken to make it work till now?
Maybe we could trick/hack the G-Sensor or smth.
I really don't see anything impressive in that. Actually useless to me. Just as a a guy at the begining of post said: Iphone like fetish... Nice, but useless.

Why can't we have something nice, even if it's useless?!
I completely understand: The iphone is a toy, the HD2 is a powerful device with endless productivity possibilities... But why does that have to mean that the opposite is also true - Only the iphone can have cool toys? Never understood that argument...

Looking for touch screen test app

I rock a Droid Eris (yes I'm pissed that Verizon isn't going to release a Stock Froyo ROM) and before I root it and put Froyo on it JUST to spite Verizon, I want to make absolutely sure the phone is in good working order before I void the warranty.
I think I'm getting phantom screen taps but I'm not sure, so I'm looking for an app that will do the following:
1. Log the number of screen taps in realtime
2. show where on the screen the latest few taps were located on the screen, using colors, crosshairs, ect.
Can anyone recommend such a touch screen test app?
hi, i know this is a pretty old post... but... i was wondering if you were able to find any touch screen test app?
i am also looking for one!
thank you!

Way to necro a post dude!
Although I did find a good touch screen test for the tablets I sell. I think its called "TouchUtil" or something similar. If you are still interested, I'll go to work and see what its exactly called.

Could be interesting, there's the iFlash for the iPhone, don't know if it can be done for SGS
http://appadvice.com/appnn/2010/12/iflash-camera-flash-iphone/
zhuk7, we can't read minds. You have to tell us what you are talking about.
The iFlash works with iPod connection, so it won't work on the Galaxy S obviously.
i know that iflash is only for ipod conection. I`ve asked if there are something like iflash but for Galaxy S

I misunderstood your first post.
The main trouble lies in interacting the flash with the camera app. While the iphone is capable of this, I don't think android can do it just yet.

Could there not be just a way to connect t something like this to the device and then manually turn on the flash as needed when taking a picture? I know that seems a bit archaic but it should work.
You know... On a switch or something? Perhaps a timer?

That would be difficult. We are talking about a xenon flash right? Not a LED? You need near perfect timing between the (electronic) shutter and the flash.
it will be good even if we get something with a led, or we can just tie a flashlight to our i9000
naaaa

Yeah the only thing I could find was an app that works with the droid x. Wouldnt run on the charge.
This same problem happened on the EVO when it came out. It took a few months before somebody was able to make a workable mirror mode and add it to a kernel. U could mirror anything on the screen.games, movies etc. Hoping it gets done
anyone find a work around for this issue?
I would also like to know about this.

I gave up trying to get it to work. Hopefully someone will come out with a way to do it..

[Update V1.2 available] HiddenEye - Awesome app to catch your phone snoopers.

New Version 1.2 now available... Please upgrade...
* Improved photo capture method.
* Larger images
* Bug fixes
* Performance improvements
* Reduced file size (now only 570KB)
Ever wanted to know who has tried snooping into your phone while you were away. Your friends or family member might have tried to unlock your phone while you are away. HiddenEye is a simple app with no frills that will photograph the person when they try to unlock your phone. You can set it to sound alarm when a user tries to unlock your phone without your knowledge.
Now you can see who is trying to use your phone while you are away. Once you unlock your phone, you will be shown the photographs of the people who tried unlocking your phone in your absence. Sounds interesting ! Try it and let us know if you have any suggestion to improve it further.
Worried that your phone does not have front camera. With HiddenEye, now you can know the someone has tried to snoop into your phone. You can also set alarm if someone is trying to unlock your phone with wrong password. If you have a front camera, then you can see who tried unlocking your phone.

Ha ha! I love your app! I don't really have a use for it for the time being because I don't really give an F who looks at my phone, but who knows? Maybe I'll be curious at some point or want to prove a point to the snoop-a-loops out there.

Glad that you liked my work.. Yes, this will come in handy when you want prove someone that they did tried snooping in Appreciate if you can leave your rating and comments on Google Play.. thanks
Neat app but im never away from my device....were connected at the hip
Nice!
One small beef though. If someone does get the password right eventually, then they see the app first thing -- even with it unchecked.
Kind of eliminates the point. Easy fix for you, I'm sure.

Thanks for pointing this out.. There is a new version 1.1 available with this fix and many more changes... Please give it a try... If you are satisfied, please drop in your comments and rating on google play.. thanks
Any device restrictions? Besides the obvious without front facing cameras...
Yep, that's better.
Thanks!
Also, I have an idea. Any way to have it so it takes a pic anytime someone unlocks it? Even with no password and just the swipe unlock? With an on/off switch.
Reason being -- I don't use a password or lock on my screen, but I do want to know when someone goes into it. So let's say I leave my phone on the charger while taking a nap --- I turn it on before I snooze, then check it out upon wake - turning it off after I'm done reviewing.

No device restrictions. For devices without front camera, you can still use the app and get to know someone has used your phone will your are away. You cannot see their real pictures. You can also set notification and alarm on consecutive failed password attempts..
