AFTER TRYING TO UNINSTALL THIS YOU WILL NEED TO RESTART TO REGAIN YOUR 110 MB INTERNAL SPACE.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=7047142#post7047142
got it to install, but had to uninstall a ton of stuff to get the 99 Mb apk installed..
Only quick race works now, after playing a race it prompts you to buy the full version, you need to be on verizon to buy the full one apparently for the moment since it was ripped from Droid X and gives an error.
To top it all off, the quick race isnt even that good...meh. For 100 Mb you'd think it would be better than this. Hope its just cause its a pre-release, cause they hyped this up a lot.

I believe that can be done if you have root. Somehow you can force it to install all your apps that way.

worked like a charm, but the game was all messed up and almost everything was black...
finally, i installed it with a rooted + a2sd htc desire. can get in the game. but the color is a shXt. all black besides two hands and some labels.
by making enough room for it to install... Yes this app does install and play however you can't see anything when you race so for others who are unable to figure this out IMO i'd just give up until a playable demo comes out.
you can force A2SD normal froyo way and it installs but says I need to connect to verizon to play...
no problem in installing {A2SD},but all black, uninstalling right away

FWIW, I just bought the Evo version of Nova from the Gameloft site and sideloaded it. It's *seriously* awesome and I saw nary a problem playing through the first two levels. I'd say it's def worth the $5. If you're bummed about the 1 min connection time for gps in maps, go download this and you'll totally forget it
Oh, and you'll need an SD card in the slot -- it didn't see the massive internal storage as an option for the game data.
nice, thanks for the tip. downloading now.
I should have also noted that the process of getting the game involves Gameloft sending an sms to your phone with the download address. If you just click on this in-phone (the obvious thing to do) you'll be greeted with a message saying ATT has protected you from dangerous things by not allowing it to download -- or some such crap. I dunno if this happens even if you've rooted (I haven't because I'm lazy).
Just type the address into your browser on a computer and it'll download properly. Proceed with the sideload.
Sorry if this is obvious.
Where can I find this game....
Gameloft says phone not recognized... do you have to do it from PC....
Yeah you have to do it from their site and using a computer. Its worth it!
Any one know how their DRM works as far as me flashing my ROM and or getting a new phone and trying to use the same game? Only thing I could find on their site said you had 90days to redownload and that was it.

,
You dont need an SD card...the game will install on the internal storage just fine, btw you can install motorola droid/milestone gameloft HD games versions on your captivate, the evo versions are crippled for the qsd82X0 platform.
this is a great game, downloaded installed on internal sd. Thanks for the great find. I guess ill try hawx too
any other badass high quality games you guys can recommend?

Just tried on my AT&T Captivate and it didn't work.
Not identifying my Nexus One.
Got it, needed to change user agent back to android.
And it is called Dungeon Hunter not Dragon.
What's with the SMS permissions?
I don't see it as free myself, I guess the deal is over? Went to the link in the post....

Is your browser user agent set to android? This was my problem, after changing it the page came up and I was able to download.
got the page, my problem was that I was using Miren Browser, doesn't have an 'Android' User Agent to set to in that app...
Now I'm trying to get it to download...must be busy on their servers!
I also wonder if they're going to allow free updates to anyone who gets this download....or are they stopping dev of this game now....hmmm
EDIT:
Nevermind, I have my phone rooted, not sure if that was the problem.....I found an old post saying to install the game, then reboot your phone to get it to run. I fixed my permissions in Rom Manager and rebooted, now the game is downloading the game files. Thanks for letting us know about the free download!

Same here, Nexus One downloads Motorola Milestone version but it has SMS read/send permissions!!!!!
I will be avoiding this, choose to download other HTC build (which are Motorola Droid) and have no SMS permissions
Well it installed on my Nexus One now I am downloading the 241MB. It does have app2SD but still leaves 7MB on internal storage.

thanks for the correction there I have an epic 4g and it works fine on it.
Thanks for the tip, I grabbed it. Only spent about 10 minutes in it (past the 250m download) but it's pretty cool. It will probably get too hard and I'll die continuously like most games I play, but..
For those having trouble, try the link in their tweet: http://j.mp/hV584b
Pick your country, carrier, phone. I have an N1 and picked the Incredible and it works fine. Yeah, don't like the SMS permissions either, but..
BTW, the company is giving out something every day until Christmas, so follow them on Twitter, or just watch their Tweets.

I went with 800m on my 8G card.. Figured that's more than enough, and it is.. I have a ton of stuff installed and it's 560M free.
BTW guys, maybe most games work like this, but there's no saving during a level. Gotta wait until you start a new level to exit, or you start over at the last level you started. Kinda annoying. If I gotta stop playing, I gotta stop.. Oh well.
what version to use with htc g2? the desire/bravo ?
same question as the post above me. I also have a G2 (stock) and its not working. I get the message "Sorry, but there are no available game for you mobile".
I selected the Galaxy S version and it installed and plays perfectly on my MyTouch 4G. I'm not sure if it matters which version you select at this point in time.

That link after sending me the text message took me to a page and had the game listed at $4.99. So I went and found it for free.
That is so pathetic. Just another reason to hate that company.
Anyway...my friend just got an inspire and is new to android. I'm just helping with the phone (I have a verizon android phone) and realized that AT&T finds someway to screw with consumers again. So, is there a way to get around this and install non market apps?

You can use sideload wonder machine http://forum.androidcentral.com/android-sideload-wonder-machine/
Or root the phone and load a custom ROM that has non market apps enabled
the sideload wonder machine method is sipmple the only drawback is that the apps wont receive updates like they would from the market, if I'm not mistaken.
Also if I remember correctly if the app is to big for side load wonder machine, you can use adb push. There are always work arounds.

That's why it's such a sweet feeling when you uninstall their application through TiBu........
You can also consider rooting the device. I did mine with no issues at all. It's VERY easy, just time consuming. From start to finish, took me about 35 minutes. I already had EVERYTHING I needed to do this though, including the ROM I wanted.

I am interested to know what apps are good that aren't on the marketplace. I would like to find some other cool stuff I can put on this phone. I put swype on and that was fun to side load. Would like to do some other stuff. Inform me please.

You want good go to Amazon App store, in the past few days I got a full version of Shazam and then SoundHound. Both have full unlimited use with no expiration, also if you change rom's you can redownload them from your account for as long as you have the account. They give away a full paid app everyday on there.

As of yesterday, none of the apps I download from either the marketplace or amazon will install. They will download without problem, but they won't actually install.
Anyone else having this problem or know of a fix?
What does the error log say?
it just says install unsuccsessful

go to applications>Manage Applications>Market>uninstall updates and clear data and cache. then go back into market and sign back in. hopefully that will fix it.
This happened to me, I had to clear some space on hard drive or whatever you want to call it? (Solid state memory, SSD, I'm really not sure) It totally fixed it.

My medical school has lectures online. I d/l them on my desktop computer, transfer them over USB, and watch them on my xoom. I fill up space pretty quickly. Each organ system is only 2 weeks, so I also empty space pretty quickly. This also means I'm waiting pretty impatiently for SD support. WTF is the hold up?
The xoom has been clutch for watching these vids while there's something on TV or while I'm cooking dinner or eating breakfast or.... you know, trying to do stuff that people with free time have the luxury of doing. Sigh....

its because you touch yourself. Or because you bought that app in the amazon store and not the Google store. Google only updates apps bought from its store.
Here's the app from the recent update, figured some of you who didn't flash do to root/errors would want it.
I double checked that it worked with a rental, so it looks good. Only thing is I don't have an updated market app to rent from just bought it on market.android.com (Does anyone have an updated market they can throw me for rentals? Hit me up in PM.)
-----------------------
If you blow your tablet up with this....I'm not going to take any blame for it. I will laugh at you though.
-----------------------
FYI: Installs just like any downloaded .apk no root needed.
Still trying to figure out a way to get updated without flashing back to a complete stock situation. Enjoy.
You can't rent movies with root access. Won't happen. Well you could rent them but you can't watch them afterwards.
Works for me just fine. I'm stock rooted though.

I think if you rename the su executable to mu you can download the movies and watch them, if you're rooted. That's how google is checking for rootedness. Just make sure to rename the su back afterwards.
Here's a video of it working for me:

If that's true, would it be possible to write a batch procedure/script to automate that? Although now with Netflix working I am not sure I'd even need this option
