hello.... i have this problem about 3 days ago... when i turn on my xda 2 mini, i can send text msg or call, but a few hour later i cant do it anymore. and anyone oso cant call me or text me, but the bar in my line provider full, i have 2 restart it again to get my text msg or etc... someone pls help me... izzit my pda prob or my sim prob, or any prob... thank you....

Yes, it could be a SIM' issue. You should first try to change it. If you got an old one, your operator might upgrade it for free.
With less luck, it could be that the radio' stack in your PDA is dying. In such case, you should try a hard reset (after trying a new SIM of course). If it still doesn't work, you might as well want to reflash your ROM & Radio with the latest available in this forum.

Hi guys, i can't make a video call. I don't know what are the problem but i have done the setting accordingly. Did i have to go through the hard reset or i miss something else? Every time i make a video call, the message reply "3G network is not available". My phone display on the top bar "E" instead of "3G" even though my phone line is 3G. Please help me for this problem. Thank you

Thank you for your points of advice, but i am in the area where 3G network is available bcoz my friend beside me using touch diamond and shows 3G and able to make a video call. So, i tried to upgrade my touch pro with WM6.5 and plus the latest version of radio rom and it really nice upgrading it but yet still can't reach 3G signal or make any video call. I hv go through and read the forum where there are few guys complaint about 3G and i did not find any points of solution of touch pro problem. Please do help me, thank you.
I'm not sure if this can help, but you could try the latest official ROM and radio, and see if it picks up 3g. Normally if you have the settings on AUTO, and you are in a 3g area, you should get 3g on the phone.

in my case it was a matter of the SIM card. I had a very old one from 1994 and as my provider gave me a new one 3G was available...

Thanks for the advice of changing my SIM card with the new one from the line provider n thats maybe the solution of my problem instead. But i hv not manage yet to do so. For all of the friends information, i hv been upgrade my touchpro with [ROM][WWE][14 Dec 10] Exquisite 4.24 WM 6.5 (23151) for Touch Pro [GSM] just a few days ago n hopping that can solve the problem of can't making a video calls. But it still regrets n i still can't make a video calls even though the radio version is 1.14.25.35. I hv been calling the line provider asking about the problem n the answer was maybe my phone has the problem. That was the very upset answer giving to me. So, i would like to get some advice of changing/upgrade the rom to |Dec 21|RAPH| .¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.-|Energy|21916|28244-Sense 2019/2.1/ Titanium since this rom seems to be the latest compare with the above mentioned. Furthermore under the description they was mentioned the "The 28244 Build that's the latest in the 6.5.3 series.....". Hope anyone can help me with this problem n thank you in advance.

Hi all,
I have a seriuos problem with my htc magician s100. I first had WM2003SE installed on it and it kept restarting for no reason, then I upgraded it to Cotulla's WWE 3.03 and it still keeps restarting for no reason. Anyone had or has this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

But now I can't synchronize to outlook, it seems that active sync can't recognize the device... Any workaround about this?

i think it's because magician battries is suck! i had the same problem,but maybe you can use:advanced configuration tools,juice defender,or maybe battrey guard

No, usually the rebooting-by-itself problem on the Magician is caused by loosed contact on the back cover, you need to put a small piece of paper in order to prevent the device from rebooting alone.

hallo... I just took my magician out again... it's not working since 4 years ago, when I, as a terrible dumb man, made it poweroff while installing a radio upgrade.. now all I get is the boot screen and in few seconds it goes to black screen and USB 2.0 (or something similar) on the lower side of the screen... is there anything i can do to make it live again?
Hi everyone, can someone please advise me on the smallest/fastest most naked rom for the Magician?
I used to have a Russian rom which I set to English and this when fully tweaked gave me 42Mb of free ram and I used this for some time (mainly as a backup sat nav)
Anyway over the years I saw the newer roms and decided to try them but the best I can achieve now is around 32Mb free.
I don't care which rom or even if office etc have been removed I just need a really striped down naked rom for my 64Mb Magician.
Anyone please, and I have tried to look but there is sooo many pages and I have tried quite a few Cotula roms.

should tried hard reset device to factor default settings your Pocket PC Phone by Press and hold the power button, and then use the stylus to press the soft reset button at the same time
O2 XDA II Mini not turning on.
Hi guys.
Some time ago i tryed to unlock my device, but the software i used made it stop turning on.
Now wen i press the power buton little blue light flashes for a second, and the light above the display also flashes a blue light for a second.
When i connect it to usb or or the charger, its always flashing light from the display, but the little light above it flashes in red.
Can anyone tell me if there is any way i can make it work again ?

ok so im a noob ,,, to the forum .. but i have expierence with blackberry and nokia.. android im learning rather quickley,, here is my issue ..... data
i used a w385 at first to get it on the network ..got every thing working except ... mms ,, and data stayed at 1x
then i upgraded to samsung instinct .. m810 .... which i had on boost a while ago and 3g worked ...
well phone did the hands free activation .....activated with no problem unlike ... w385... but cant seem to get evdo to .. work... i notice ..,evdo will come on ... and shut off after a few min ....cause i have the signal strength widget ... but be sideds that im lost ... ive tested the instinct and its able to youtube ,,, but not the evo ....any suggestions or questions regarding my issue feel free to ask im gonna be trying all day ... ..to get it work ing .......

ok so what i have noticed is on qpst under the mip tab profile 0 which is coming up with profile name [email protected]....... is actually coming up with the dec from the evo and not coming up with the doner , after the funny thing is .the evo provisions fine voice mail works and everything .. if i try to update profile it will upfdate and telll me updating content but then i get the stupid error .. 65 name and password incorrect ... the doner i used was a samsung instinct ... if try to correct any of these settings the phone wont activate ... i can read nv items 465-466... but 1192 says access denied ... and 1194 says not active,,, i tryed going through nv broswer but get access denied to read... ... also i have been doing comparisons from the instinct to the evo ,, as far as doing it through .. qxdm when i do request nvitem profile and profile 1 ...... and after breaking down aaa ha keys in comparison ... they are not that diffrent from what on another except the last keys change ...

Is ur phone rooted?
Let them search @rAndroid3 its all in here. We always help out but even if not rooted apns show in the menu.

Hehe well, really, out there is everything.
Just say wah , there is no Thread i found from last many many days ,
in my cause i seen APN option even with Shortcut master i can access APN menu but there is no option for add New apn , only 1 Option there which is " restore Default " i tried almost 10 different app but none of them help to add new APN ,
So if you have solution for share post here , i think users need Solution not reply with use Search , i m not newwibe who dont know how to use search option

Exactly, what condition is your phone in? What version rom? rooted? SIM unlocked? Additional LTE bands added?
What are you trying to gain by adding or editing APN? If we have some more info, maybe there is an answer out there.
There are lots of answers... Just lazy ppl bragging about no possible solution. I've been on this forum for a long time and I have seen lots of ppl like this a while ago was a guy claiming no zv8 and zv9 root. Blah blah... Search man! We're not slaves to anyone. Everything is in the forums... Its one of the xda rules SEARCH!

Ok I've searched. I've tried the UNLOCK APN option via shortcut master... It says "APN unlocked". I've added a new APN setting there also. Still same as op stated... mobile networks APNs show a whited out "ota" and the only option is to reset to default.
For me, I've flashed between rooted zv9 to unrooted to rooted a couple or three times. Recently, I was able to add a new apn and had a gsm signal that showed the signal strength as a straight line incline. At this point I only had calling and sms, no data or mms.
Then, after unrooting and rerooting, the phone showed invalid sim card. I changed the build.prop file setting ro.build.target_operator=SPR to att and this finally brought back my calling and sms as well as my mvno name displayed in the upper left corner (which wasn't there before). Also, the signal strength changed to an inclining bar graph as opposed to the straight line incline... but still no data nor mms.
As mentioned above, I've tried different settings in SM including finding a hidden menu that displayed several AT&T APNs and was able to add my APN there but it still doesn't show under "mobile networks". I've also replaced the node files and changed the permissions. This was a step backwards. Even though I've done my fair share or "SEARCH!"ing, I'm sure I missed something.
It's pretty arrogant to assume everyone is going to be as vested into this forum the way you are. Maybe if the forum were set up where you didn't have to do so much searching to find how to set up a phone, this site wouldn't have so many lost people. It's like a huge puzzle that can take days, if not weeks to put everything together.
If it is so easy to find the answers by simply "SEARCH!"ing, why not simply throw in some links for the poor fellow instead of hanging out just to belittle people.
I know this is a old post but has anyone found a solution to this problem. I also am having problems adding apn settings. I am rooted and on zvb. I get calling and texting but no mms or data. I have enable LTE in the hidden menu but still not working. I am with Koodo mobile in Canada and LTE is band 4.
