Hi guys
I've been looking for some battery supplier, but I could find only some OEM chinese battery for my HTC S710.
These batteries are very cheap, u$s7, but they don't last more than 6 months...
Does any1 know where could I get an original battery replacement for my HTC S710? (which accepts paypal)
Thanks a lot,

batteriesonthego(dot)com/battery-shop/pc/CS-DS710XL-HTC-PDA-Battery-153p2812.htm
Its pretty much two batteries grouped together. It comes with a modified battery cover since the OEM will not fit the expanded battery. Works really well and lasts me 2 days with HEAVY internet usage! Hope this helps!
thanks for the tip bjs5561
Will contact them to see if they can ship it to Argentina
You may want to search ebay as well, like this.

I guess I won't buy it then. Also, I'd have to get a new case for that, and I'm sure I won't be able to get one of such width

Hello!
Just noticed this battery on sale at eBay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-1200mAh-BAT...4|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318|301:0|293:1|294:50
I wonder if is this another scam like the "1100" one...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=445050
Assuming this one is real, would it work with all (incl. non Sprint) Touch Diamonds?
[UPDATE: COMPATIBLE WITH SPRINT DIAMONDS ONLY]
This seller have better reputation than one with fake 1100mAh battery... and it's from UK so can't blame Royal Mail for slow delivery
Since when was California in UK?

Looks great! I've gone for it let you know when it arrives! This could really be the amswer to all my battery problems
Careful buying this for the original Diamond. I think the Sprint version's slightly deeper so might allow for a larger battery? Could be wrong

won't work on standard diamond. sprint diamond is 1350 capacity. it is thicker battery door as standard.

Oh well... wishful thinking!!
it will be a good idea to change the title of this topic since this is NOT standard size battery for HTC Diamond.
It clearly states in the item description that it only fits the mentioned models.
So if you do buy this for a normal gsm diamond = you will also need to buy a thicker battery cover in order to house it
Good idea to change this thread's title I would think as it may be misleading to some people
Mhh, I bought this battery in Germany. It will arrive next week. I wonder whether this fits into my HTC Victor.

Hello Fayoumi,
please let us know if this battery also fits to your MDA compact IV. I read that the MDA compact IV is comparable to the Sprint Touch Diamond from the U.S. Thanks in advance!
i've bought the 1100mAh battery from the ebay-seller posted in fort post.
conclusions: he send me a 1000mAh instead the 1100mAh battery. but it seems to be garbage - the 1000mAh battery testresult is the smae as the 900mAh original standard battery

DON'T BUY IT!

Just FYI

That is most certainly NOT an OEM battery. HTC's batteries are black, not white.
There is a shop on Amazon selling genuine batteries.

Guys,
Don't put cheap questionable batteries in your phone. They have the potential to damage your phone or its charging circuits.
Genuine batteries are not expensive enough to warrant the risk.
Not so sure......
Few weeks ago I bought a genuine HTC battery ( P/N 35H00132-06M) with UL certificate printred on which do not allow any temperture control. I do not feel very safe with such a product.
I have reported this problem to HTC technical people. I'm waiting for an answer
Detailed analysis is gievn on my blog 78michel.unblog.fr/
Notice that HTC Desire and Nexus one batteries are identical
I've been looking everywhere for a genuine original HTC Desire battery, but it seems impossible to find them! I've even ordered an expensive one from an eBay seller, but it's just a fake, which looks very similar on the front side but has different backside. It says "Manufactured by Formosa Electronic" in very small text.
Do you have experience that which of these sellers are posting genuine HTC batteries from Amazon?

Or should I just buy the German PolarCell from eBay?

Have you been able to recently find a genuine HTC battery for normal price, like around 10 pounds?
It's funny that you ask because I have been looking for a battery today. I found this website that appears to be genuine http://www.htcaccessorystore.com/uk/p_htc.aspx but it isn't cheap (about £35).
I'll look forward to the feedback on your other options. I bought one for a Sony Xperia (not mine) for £8 from Amazon and it was fine, but the reviews for the Desire batteries don't look good.
Hi,
recently i bought a "geniue" Battery for my Desire on ebay from a german seller.
When it came, it appeared to be original, but when i installed it, it gave me constant voltage and temperature values. So it was a faked one. I sent it back and became one behaving exactly the same. So i got my money back.
The next one was on Amazon, but not directly from Amazon. It also looked original, but it didn`t fit perfectly and it didn`t even charge. I´m waiting for a replacement atm. I´m still hoping to get a good one. All were about 10 Euro
so 7 pound?
regards

And the genuine one is 35 pound?
eBay 101 - lesson one - when something looks too good to be true, chances are it isn't.
Original one is around 30€ from registered reseller, 40€ HTC original
I think it's worth telling which seller did we buy from.
The fake which looked almost like the original was from "phonemarketuk" on eBay.
Now I've ordered one from "FoneM8store" from Amazon UK. I'll report when it arrives!
Before I was able to buy an original one from a seller for 7 pounds, so there is hope!
If there is nothing else, I think the best route is to go with PolarCell from Germany.
I´m not sure if it is allowed to post seller´s names here?
I tested the one from Amazon with my battery tester. It had about 1000mAh so the problem is not only the missing of values, but it has also less capacity than the original. Mine has about 1200mAh after 1.2 years.
But the worst was when i applied 5Volts to the Battery, it didnt switch off. So
this could be dangerous if anything in the charger circuit goes wrong.
Hi,
a few days ago the replacement was delivered. This one is original, and has about 1300mAh, so it seems that it was liing around some time.
But all in all ok, cost: 9,60€
Seller: WUSAR (who wants to give it a try)
on ebay, only boxed versions
I've got mine from amazon.de. After two sellers sold me fake ones (in a little plastic bag) for about 10 Euro I bought one directly from amazon. The result: I got a little HTC Box which a genuine battery for about 15 Euros. I dont think amazon.co.uk will sell you fake ones if you buy them directly from them.
Can you post a link? In Amazon.co.uk at least I've spend _ages_ looking for a genuine but there was none, and Amazon wasn't selling any directly.

Hi!
HTC SAV recommended me the HTC Accessory Store as the official HTC reseller. The battery for HTC Desire is expensive (~40 Euros) but I'm bored searching for the cheapest OEM one after being deceived from 2 reputated sellers (not on ebay) with fake ones.
Has anyone ever ordered the battery from that site (htcaccessorystore.com which is in fact Expansys company) ?
And the real question is : is that the genuine one that came with the phone and can be calibrated... ?
Thanks!
taobao.com in china, if you know chinese. but be careful, some batteries are second batteries

I think the conclusion was that the only way to get genuine battery is to buy from the main Amazon.de shop. Be careful, not to by from a reseller, but from the amazon.de seller. Also, on this page one of them is fullfilled by amazon and it says 100% original, it might work.

You can look for a AOONEN BB99100 BATTERY FOR DESIRE A8181 on ebay: I bought one 3 month ago and it is a very reliable battery, last the same as than the original one.
I'm very pleased with it.
Hey Guys,
I know this has been asked a lot of times already, but all those links point to international sites. There are a number of batteries available on ebay.in but I'm really skeptical about them.
So I was wondering if any one of you have bought one of those or from any other source and satisfied with the battery, would you please share the links?
I might buy a new phone eventually, but I want to keep this one alive It's not easy to give up on this guy!

Well if you are going for quality, buy an original one. Just google htc store. If you want something propably better go for mugen. These are expensive choices. If you want something cheap there's no big difference really, or no tests availble, so just buy the one that has the color you like.
I got my replacement battery and it has 4hours + of screen on time, which is sufficient till the next charge and enough to last me a day with heavy usage, Epower. But i think i got a bad bargain, seems a bit pricy, but more than a few months now, and the battery seems durable and it didnt explode
Someone please provide a link to any trusted product. And it should be available in India.
I bought one from eBay which supposed to be original but the new battery got quickly discharged after a few cycles and now it is also inflated. In need of a good battery.
Thanks for the help in advance.

It isn't available in eBay India. And wherever it is available, the shipping costs are more than the product's cost.
Thank though! ☺
I bought a 2450 mAh GOLD BATTERY from eBay back in September 2013, it's still going strong. The battery was made in Japan but I bought it from a UK seller (as I live in the UK). I believe it says it's for the Desire Z on it, but both phones use the same batteries so it's fine.
So, were anyone of you able to get a replacement battery in India? Links will be really helpful!
Does anyone know where to get a replacement original or good quality OEM battery for the Mi5 (BM22)?
My battery life has turned pretty poor (sometime the phone will switch off when it claims it has 20% left) etc and I usually get just over 2.25 hrs SOT.
Have tried different ROMs, battery calibration etc but think the issue may be the battery itself so looking to replace.
All the ones on Aliexpress are OEM and no brands I recognize. Any advise on which is best?
Thanks, Chada
I'd like to know too, I can find many batteries on eBay and Aliexpress but I don't know if they're good or not
I bought one from ebay. It worked as good as a new one for a month. After that the battery doesn't want to charge. Checked with different chargers but Ampere shows the charging current at around 150mah. Don't buy from ebay.

I just ordered a "Nohon" battery for my mi5. Specs are Li-Po (as original, not Li-Ion) and 2910/3000mAh. You pay a slight premium compared to the cheapest alternative on Ali, but maybe it's worth it. Dragon-tt has OEM batteries for sale (at least that's how they're promoting them), but they won't ship to Finland, so I couldn't order from there.
Anyone here who has experience with this brand's offerings? Let's see how it goes - I'll post back when I get it (in a month or so probably). *fingers crossed*
Edit: seems it'll take at least 2 months for it to arrive, since it can't be shipped by air to Finland.
