I'm trying to set the QWERTY keyboard to timeout in 5 min rather than the default 10 sec. I've used phone alarm with the power profiles. And edited the registry:
qkeyledtimeout
No go. Help Please!

Got a Samsung B7350 Omnia Pro 4 running the stock Windows 6.5.3 and wanted to ask if anyone knows how to change the snooze time for the alarm when it's on the lock screen and you slide to snooze.
If the Omnia screen is unlocked, when the alarm goes off you can click right soft key to show a popup menu and then select from there whether to snooze the alarm for 5, 10 or 15 minutes.
However, when the Omnia is locked and the alarm goes off, you can either slide to dismiss the alarm or slide to snooze. If you slide to snooze, there's no option to change the snooze timeout, it's fixed at 10 minutes. I want to change this to 5 minutes so that if I slide to snooze, the alarm will activate after 5 minutes.
So far, I've tried all of the following, none of which work:
1. Changed the registry HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\Reminders\AutoSnooze\AutoSnoozeMins from 2 mins to 5. This registry setting only affects notifications where you do nothing and the autosnooze kicks in.
2. Changed the registry HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\Reminders\SnoozeTime from 600 seconds (10 mins) to 300 seconds (5 mins). This registry setting doesn't seem to have changed anything.
3. Gone into HKLM\System\Shell\Notification\OEM to remove the NotificationLayout.dll custom shell but the Omnia Pro has none and this key doesn't exist. The NotificationLayout.dll hack seems to be for HTC phones only.
There are no snooze timeout options in the alarm settings on the Omnia but I've noticed that when an alarm is snoozed, whether it's from the menu on an unlocked screen or the slide to snooze on a locked screen, a multi string registry key is created in HKLM\System\Shell\Clock\Snooze\ which has a label of 8 random numbers (for example HKLM\System\Shell\Clock\Snooze\37000056 or HKLM\System\Shell\Clock\Snooze\30000053) and contains a hex string (for example D0 A4 17 BE E7 D2 CB 01 or C0 80 E3 5F E5 D2 CB 01). When the alarm is dismissed, the key is removed for good and I'm guessing the random numbers that make up the label and the hex contents have something to do with changing the default 10 minute timeout for the slide to snooze but I can't figure it out
Tried creating a SnoozeTime key in HKLM\System\Shell\Clock\Snooze\ which didn't make any difference and was deleted on a soft reset. Also tried creating a SnoozeTime key in HKLM\System\Shell\Clock\ which didn't get deleted on soft reset but neither did it change anything.
Don't want to have to install another alarm program just to be able to set a snooze for 5 mins on the lock screen, there must be a way to do this via the registry. Any ideas anyone?
Hi guys, i'm using CM9 alpha 11 and as the tilte says the on-screen button MOD from evilisto and NStools to dimm backlight of the touch keys.
The point is i wanna disable the backlight completely (no delay) so i set the delay to 0, but this seems to be buggy. When i unlock the lockscreen it sometimes happen that the backlight turns on and holds until i touch the keys. For me it seems that the app (or even the phone) has an issue with 0 delay, so its more like a 50:50 chance that the backlight does not turn on. I've tried not to set any delay but it seems that app sets it to the last valid value next time you open. Btw there is no issue for any values greater 0 that i have experienced.
Can anyone confirm this or has any solutions to turn off backlight completely?
best regards
I keep seting Swiftkey as the default keyboard, but every time the phone wakes from sleep, it's back to the Samsung keyboard. Any ideas?
Same here, any help please...
Hi there,
I changed my lockscreen just to swype to unlock, but everytime I start / activate the phone with the home button it tooks just a blink and it turns off again. I set the normal timeout to 1 min, but I can't find any setting for the lockscreen. Does anyone have the same problem and a solution for this unsightly issue...?
Thanx and greetings

I have an S10e. Screen timeout is set to 10 minutes. But it keeps blanking after about 30 seconds while I'm listening to instructions & I'm displaying the keypad in a "press 1 to..., press 2 to..." menu system. I have to touch pretty much anywhere that isn't a number to keep the screen active & be able to press the appropriate number when the menu system finally tells me which selection I want to make. It's a PITA! Why does it blank LONG before the screen timeout setting? Is there some setting somewhere else that I haven't been able to find?
