I'll give it a shot.

can we have they update.zip just for the notification bar only ? looks sexy

Tried to flash it, but it aborts.

Abort with an Eata error

Failed here also when I tried to flash.
E:Wrong digest:
system/app/Gallery3DGoogle.apk
E:Verification failed

I get a fail on this theme when trying to flash it
wrong digest for gallery3dgoogle.apk
verification fails because of it
any ideas?
i'm running MCR r19

I'm hoping to figure this error out later today, so you guys are getting the error on Clockwork now too?

I'm getting this error on amon_ra

I get an error on clockwork.
I'm wondering I'd its because I'm using apps2SD on ext3

Doesnt work for me... as posted above, and I'm not using apps2sd at all. If that helps at all.

Love the theme but is there any way to put a black status bar?
Btw try to reflash r19 then flash the theme if you are getting an error.

Good Job but...
the Droid X icons and such are U-G-L-Y!

Useless
Not to be a kill joy, but this keyboard would be useless on an N1. The multitouch on the N1 snaps two pinch to zoom points to the same axis when they are close. IE, you would be holding down the shift key and hit y and it really register h or n. Am I remiss?

That doesn't happen when I use it, lol~

Please add the black status bar and the Droid X Live wallpaper. I posted the live wallpaper in this section if you need it. This looks to be good though.

I tried everything as well total wipe reflash of r19 then tried both themes with and without boot animation. Same problem that everyone else is having.

I fixed the errors in recovery turns out my signing tools where trying to use my old jdk that I moved sorry guys all should be good now if someone can confirm there is new links in the OP!

Hey guys, I'm new to this whole scene but I have the MIUI 10.15 on my Dinc and I LOVE it but is there any way to add HTC widgets or the stock dialer/contacts or some of the stock Verizon Apps like My Verizon to it? Also I can't seem to figure out how to set up speed dial. Any help would be great.
for some reason, when i try to flash these theme right after i flash the new "Test build for miui-10.22 WIP!!! " or any theme with the new version of miui found here,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=791378
it stays stuck on the "MIUI" Red boot screen" and never loads, anyone know why?
which version of the miui rom is everyone using to make this work?

My themes will work fine with any 0.10.29 MIUI ROM made for HTC Incredible, Desire, or Evo 4G. You first need to boot the system and sync with Google, then proceed to install one of my themes via recovery. Links to my 4 MIUI themes are in my signature.

Are these the updated PNG's? Over in the Nexus forums, their Galaxy metamorphs have been updated with new PNG images with more color. Ported it to my CM6.1 and they look amazing!
Very nice I really like this. I hope you keep this up to date. Flashed over the latest Nightly 153 and all seems to be working GREAT.

this might be the only one i do for a release candidate. this particular ROM version won't load past the splash screen on a reboot often. sometimes it will if i wipe cache/dalvik-cache and sometimes it won't and i'll just have to pull the battery again. if another RC doesn't release soon, i'm going back to 6.0.

screen shots can be found in the original thread. lockscreen clock is stock font, but that's how it's always been for me since the first theme was made for 6.0
also, for those of you flashing this over Nightlies, please understand that if there are bug fixes to apks in the CM Nightly ROMs, when you flash this theme, it overwrites those apks.
i've been on 6.1 and Nightly builds 154/155 and haven't noticed any major changes, though.

so i managed to find the GalaxyS theme over in the NexusOne forums. it can be seen here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=709946
would you guys prefer i keep this theme as close to the original one or would you like most of the images updated to what's in the above thread? if i get too many mixed answers, i may just make a seperate one
like the way you have this one; it's fine and i have no complaints
I like yours better too.

At the moment I've left market 2.2.7 out of the main body of the theme. I've created a separate flashable themed market which can be flashed after the main theme. To apply the theme CM7 and the latest gapps is needed and must be present on the phone before the theme is applied. Download and place the ExtremeRoyal.zip and ExtremeMarket.zip on the root of the sd card then boot into recovery.
Please do a nandroid and flash at your own risk.
Now thats out the way install ExtremeRoyal.zip in recovery once finished reboot the phone. There are many ways to get the new market to work but I find this way is best. A wipe of market data and cache is needed then boot into recovery and install the ExtremeMarket.zip then reboot. I've found the market to force close a few times but it soons clears up.

You have to do a restore through nandroid. It's possible to reflash a rom over the top if the rom is not CM7 a full wipe will be needed before you flash the rom.
I was able to get rid of the red icons by flashing gapps again.

Not working
I tried flashing this theme multiple times on a Nexus One running CM7 build 3, and every time it prevented the phone from booting until I reflashed CM7. I even tried a full wipe and clean install, but I got the same result. It would boot past the Nexus screen to the new CM boot animation, but then the animation would constantly freeze and restart until I pulled the battery. I'm updated to build 5 now, think I'll wait for an update to the theme before trying again, as I'm really eager to get it on there.

I flashed the theme and you are correct boot loops. So I spent a while and found the problem Vending.apk. So I updated the market to market22.10 and themed over it. I've flashed it twice for good measue and no bootloops.
Back to boot loops
Held off as long as I could, but I updated to build 22 last night, and as I feared, the boot loops came back. Same for 23 today. I've been playing around with trying to isolate the problem, and I know that the loop is being caused by the Status Bar crashing at boot, and that the problem is caused by a file in the framework-res.apk. I tried going deeper, and eliminated the drawable folder as the culprit, along with any file in the apk named "status_bar_xxxx.xxx." I'm just learning the guts of Android, so don't know where else to dig, but I figured I'd contribute whatever I could to make it easier to fix. I totally love this theme...

Themes For Stock ROM - 2.3.340

I thought I'd share some themes for the stock rom. These themes are all compatible with the stock deodexed 2.3.340 rom.

4. You must be deodexed first. Flash this zip to deodex if you have not done so yet. You may also use this file to return to the stock theme after flashing my other themes. DOWNLOAD LINK ------ MIRROR

Thanks a lot Mike I have been looking all over the net for this. You should also posted at the Droid X Forums and Droid forums. You're gonna make a lot of people very happy if you posted over there, or I can do it for you with all credit going to you of course.
Is it possible to see more pics of the gingerbread theme on different screen...eg dialer market etc. Thanks

@maddog feel free to start threads wherever you like. I'll only be checking the threads here and at Droid-life (under DX themes), so just refer people to those threads for any questions.
@HCdroid This initial version of these themes do not skin any apps. Updates will be coming though that will include browser, market, dialer etc. Stay tuned
FYI waremike32 = unkleduke, I had to use my old nick to post the links here.
My phone did not like, i have stock 2.3.340 rooted and when i installed it almost bricked my phone. Would get stuck at the initial boot logo and go nowhere. Luckily i figured out taking my micro sd out and plugging the phone into usb while booting made the clockwork mod bootstrapper pop up so i could use my backup image. Almost had to SBF.
Not sure what caused it but man i wish i could get that gingerbread theme working!
Just got it loaded on my X. Everything I was hoping plus then some. Thanks for this!...very reluctant on running a custom ROM since I'm pleased with the stock one and this fit the bill perfectly.

Did you deodex first? First boot may take a few minutes. You should see the droid eye animation run for awhile. As long as it doesn't loop, it is probably running fine.

Fairly certain i deodex, but still it never got past the initial boot image, droid eye never loaded. it sat at that first screen for about 5 minutes, never moved on. I used my restore point and got it back to normal so all is well. Im still going to try it out again, ill try to deodex again and see if that makes a difference
It couldn't hurt to manually mount /system before flashing each .zip. Might help.

[Theme] 4/7/11 SlateMatteGreen v2.0 for Redemptive rEVOlution v2.3

I am a Junior in High School and I made the Tron Theme. I wanted venture away from something so specific to one group so I decided to make a clean, simple theme. It's still green but it's a slate type green and I think a got rid of all the shiny elements of the original sense to make it look more professional in my opinion. Many parts are now based Gingerbread (Check Marks, Status Bar Icons, etc.) but themed in the slate green look.
For the most part I themed everything myself but some status bar icons are from MIUI and the background for the app drawer is from Myn's ROMs.
I would also like to dedicate this theme to those suffering Japan. I have close friends and family over there that are doing fine but there are many that are suffering. I will be posting donate link sometime next week in which all donations will go to organizations helping Japan. If you are planning on buying something from Amazon, please buy through my school club's Amazon link so that we can use the commission to donate to Japan. Please find it in your heart to take one extra step if buying something through Amazon to help those that have lost everything.
Amazon Link:

So now I present my Slate Matte Green Theme for Redemptive rEVOlution by HeyItsLou.
Before downloading and flashing please BACKUP YOUR ROM. I have tested flashing on my phone and my sister's phone and everything works but things can always go wrong. If you do flash, please do not hold me accountable for anything that may go wrong.
Download Link: (I made this update with the Edify script required for CWM 3 but I'm still skeptical about it working. It will definitely work on CWM 2.5.X.X; under the download link there is a way to flash if you're on CWM 3 without getting rid of CWM 3 or causing issues but again BACK UP)
Download Link for SlateMatteGreen Theme for Redemptive Revolution 2.3
Over in Incubus26jc's Warm Z TwoPointTwo thread there is an zip that will give you 2.5.1.2 just for one time if you want to flash this theme; it will go back to CWM 3 after reboot. Heres the link to the post with the attached zip:

Disclaimer: Again please don't hold me accountable if something goes wrong during your flash.

Thanks, ill flash it when i get home at 8am and keep you posted throughout the week.
Nice job, I am surprised you don't have more hits. I may Have to flash back to redemptive to check it out.
So I flashed it and it took. 0.2 seconds. Rebooted and all it did was delete some apps

I uploading a new update for CWM 3; if you want to try, back up and flash the new one and see how it goes. Please report back saying if it worked or not; thanks for trying the first one.
k flashing now and using cw3.0.0.8
Uhh yeah, so it installed and i noticed the theme in my notification bar, but it had completely removed sense! tons of force closes and i couldn't open anything, it just showed a black screen.

AGHH I don't know what to tell you. I can't seem the figure it out. I'll ask one of the other devs to see how they got it to work. Thanks for the help; I hope I didn't trouble you too much. Hope you backed up too.

I'm pretty sure you can revert back but the backups only work with there specific CWM. Like if you backed up using CWM 3 you wouldn't be able to recover using CWM 2; so I've heard but not 100% sure.
Update!
Updated the theme; added new things here and there.
It is using the Edify script required for CWM 3 but I still don't know if it actually works on CWM 3. I know for sure that it works on CWM 2.5.1.2. Again back up before flashing.
Over in Incubus26jc's Warm Z TwoPointTwo thread there is an zip that will give you 2.5.1.2 just for one time if you want to flash; it will go back to CWM 3 after reboot. Heres the link to the post with the attached zip:
