Is there a way to disable the 270 screen rotation? I may be in the minority, but I actually prefer just having the one direction to rotate.

If I were to remove Sense on this rom, does that mean that I can use Frozen Eclair? FE doesn't work with Sense at all. As of now I am using it on TJ's NonSense rom. I just want to be clear that removing sense means actually removing all, or most, traces of Sense.

I think that is the icon for location services enabled. I forgot what other ROM I saw it on, but I have seen it somewhere else..... try disabling gps / location services and see if that is it. Of course I may be wrong.......

So Ive been modding my framework for a while now and just using adb to push but Ive gotten a couple requests for this mod that I finally decided to make a flashable zip. Decided to mod lockscreen to look a bit like the Honeycomb lock along with Honeycomb font on the Lockscreen Clock. Some Icons (sound, Vibrate & Cyanogen robot custom icon) had to be blanked out so if you try using the regular sliders and using some of the extra icons you might have a blank image but the slider still works.
The Main lockscreen is the Rotary Style lockscreen. You can change it under settings > Cyanogenmod settings > Lockscreen Settings > Lockscreen Style

I couldnt get Lense Lockscreen right as the time kept creeping up. I will keep looking but I think its somewhere in the xlm or jar so hopefully someone that knows more can help with that later.
Warning: This will replace your Framework-res.apk so any existing mods might be lost. I Tested on my Evo and a Friends evo and both flashes went without a hitch but jut in case make sure to always Nand backup prior to flashing..

Doubt it, this uses CM7 RC1 Framework apk. Ill work on a Metamorph version for other versions. Prolly work on it during my lunch break lol

This is only for Evo since it flashes the Evo Framework. If you want to flash on MT4g you can extract the images and create a Metamorph mod or if you send me your framework I can create one for you.

Just flashed it and it's working, thanks a lot man it makes the lockscreen look a lot nicer imo

To tell you the truth I havent even looked at that icon, I just got it from the system dump and saved it with the others. Ill take a look, chances are that it has some sort of non transparent border. I'll take a look at it later and let you know.

There are some apps that need to be taken out (verizon specific ones; voicemail for instance) though, but thats why there's a WIP tag...I'm not going to do much until I get a PM response from original creator. When/if I get a green light, I'll change more stuff out and upload another (more sprint) release.

I took a look at this rom earlier on when Clark requested it but I figured it was a waste of time because I thought no one was going to help out.

Everything works except 4G. There isn't an option to turn on 4G, so that's that I guess lol.

I'm assuming this is a CM7 base rom with a rosie hacked onto it, or is it a Sense base with CM7 features added? It looks half and half to me.

I took on the request as a challenge, because I've never had any luck with making/porting ROMS, so this is really the first ROM I've ever made/ported successfully!

Either way I like it. Looks smooth as hell. Perfect amount of eye candy vs. functionality. First ROM I'd flash in a while that I'd actually want to use for an extended period of time.

Its more of a sense-based with CM7 features added.
On a Side Note:
Clark44 is downloading it now, as I made the port originally per his request, so we'll see what kind of feedback he gives once he flashes.
Please no one PM me/clark for the download link because I'm trying to respect original dev's request for anyone who uses his work to get permission before releasing any downloads publically

you mention that there are a lot of skins, would these be the same ones used for 2.1 like the ones you can use on synergy? or is there another thread where i could find these themes specific to this odex rom?

[ROM] Senseless Energy 2.3.5 Sense(less) 3.5 -Themed and Tweaked!

Senseless Energy​
This is my Energy port. Gingerbread 2.3.5 Sense 3.5 with the Sense widgets and Rosie removed while maintaining the Sense apps like email, mms, sms, people etc. I made this for myself when I was putting an update together for Energy and messed up Rosie. I liked it so much I thought I would share.

Bugs:
The voice dialer hangs on some bluetooth devices.
Some of the things in the Control Panel aren't working.
*In version 1, the lock screen style changer causes bootloops, the rosie options do not work (because there is no rosie in this) the font changer is empty and the Spare parts option is unavailable. If there is a lot of interest in these features I'll see what I can do about fixing them.
*In version 2 anything rosie related doesn't work (again because there is no rosie)
*(FIXED 3/27/2013) This ROM gets texts from 9016 to let you know you have voicemail. If you text "block 9016" to 9999 you will get a text back from 9999 saying "SprintFreeMsg: Text messages from (and to) '9016' are now blocked" and that takes care of it.
*The Scene and skin options are not working in system/personalize.
*When fixing the phantom voicemail text message issue, I some how broke the weather app. All of the widgets and apps that use it still work but the weather app itself FCs when you try to access it.

1/23/2013 Changed some icons in version 2 to give the status bar a more AOSP look using parts from Eclipse and CM7.

I know how much I like options and I expect others do too so I put together a second version. In version 2, I replaced Dread's control panel with the Tweaks apk that came in the original Energy ROM. I also added No-frills CPU Control and Kernel Tuner **root**
I know having both of these seems redundant but I like the simplicity of No-Frills and the functionality of Kernel Tuner. Again its about options.

Have you thought about changing out the Sense status bar for a more AOSP feeling one? I always liked the stripped Sense ROMS cause it has the awesome camera and light OS

No I hadn't thought of that. Its worth looking into. What would need to be changed to make that happen?
Edit: I found Super Status Bar in the play store. It looks pretty cool with lots of options.

Prolly just images inside the SystemUI.apk and maybe some in framework. I was just curious is all

If people take an interest in this and want that I think it would be fun. However, the thing that's so cool about this ROM is the customized UI by NRGZ28. It's hard to improve on what he's done.

This is a great ROM. I've been using it all day today. It's so quick and responsive, and has some really good features like recent apps in the dropdown status bar, A2SD baked-in, and it has the CM look, which I like better than Sense. Well done!
