I've got a lot of messages in my SMS database and I was wondering if there is a way to delete all messages older X days/months, be it a program or some option I missed built in to the program.
I'm running 6.5 Pro on an HTC Tilt 2 on AT&T.
Thanks in advance.
There have been quite a few threads on this already..
I just Googled it and found "SMS Purge"
http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-sms-purger.html
It's freeware and it works fine on my HD2 Running Win6.5
For future, please read the forum rules and search first..... (that's how I found this thread!)

Hello
I've been looking for an SMS application that will allow me to hide specific SMSes (SMSes from certain people ) Someone advised me to ask here. I already got a suggestion to try EasyHelper SMS Security and it would work fine if it wasnt meant for WM 6, while I have Firestorm 3.8 which is WM 6.5...this version of WM makes the whole interface unreadable.
Does anyone have any idea where I could get such an application that would also work with 6.5?
I'll appreciate
Hello,
I am looking for a program which I can make some of these messages but I can't find one? I see the free one from Nokia and Samsung but are they any programs out there which lets you have a bit more control? Could someone help me out?

Hello,

Does anyone know how to enable threaded email (Conversation Email option) option in pocket Outlook of Sprint Lovers ROM (CE OS 5.2.28232 (Build 28232.5.3.3)). This is a feature that is available in wm6.5.3. If anyone knows of any ROM that has this added features for Sprint TP2, please let me know.
I am doing push email using TP2's ActiveSync with my Gmail account. Furthermore, I went to the registry and searched for the word "conversation". There is one DWord that has it, but conversation mode does not appear in my pocket email. Here is the reg key:
[HKCU\Software\Microsoft\ActiveSync]
"ConversationMode"=dword:1
Thanks for your help.
It's either cooked in or it isn't. Any ROM running build 235xx is going to have it. It's a part of the SYS build itself. It's not an app that you can add in. Ask your chef about it. So far you can only get threaded email in 6.5.3 builds. If you're looking for it in 6.5, then you're out of luck.
What you are looking for is quite probably in this thread:

There is a cab in the first post that folks are having mixed results with. The last post in the thread includes the files from 23569.

I seriously doubt that's going to work. I'm not saying it won't, but judging by the feedback on the thread, it doesn't look like it's working for most people.
There is an excellent small application on WM called "HushSMS" which is used to send special types of SMS (mainly type0 and Class0).
Any chance to find\develop a similar one for Android.
TIA
A little bit of googling lead me to this:
http://www.appbrain.com/app/flash-sms/com.qf.FlashSMS
seems to be janky, but I can't find anything else on android
Yes I 'm aware of this app but it does send only flash SMS. If you got the chance to try the HushSMS for WM you will know what I mean
Thanks anyway for taking the time to search and replay.
