Connecting diamond to car stereo - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV Accessories

Hi,
as you all know that diamond has a mini usb audio headphone socket.
Whereas if i want to connect it with my car stereo i need an aux socket.
Can anybody tell me from where can i get such cable which has one mini usb and one aux (male or female) socket?
Thanks in advance!

Tilt External Speakers

I am wondering if it is possible to use the USB connection on the Tilt for attcahing it to external speakers. Is there any audio output directed throgh the USB port?
If not, can anyone recommend a blue tooth device that will allow communication from the Tilt and end up into an Ipod style jack that I can then plug into the Ipod port of the stereo system in my truck? (No factory blue tooth.)
Thanks to all.

Tilt's USB port has audio out. I use 8525's usb headset that I had laying around to listen to songs at work.
Thanks for the reply!
I will try to find a headset. I can then cut the headphones and attach an audio input instead of the earphones.
Can you recommend a brand other than the factory set?
Also, would anyone know where I can find the USB port layout?
Thanks again to all.
I cut the usb plug off my old htc herald headphones and put a 3.5mm jack on the other end. I then bought a cheap mp3 dock with speakers. Plug the usb jack into the tilt and the 3.5mm into the dock. The sound is pretty darn good. The dock works off 4 aaa batteries and gives me 8 hours of tunes. heres a pic with my old mda in it, it works just fine with my tilt also.
Someone should make a HTC dock with speakers that runs off batteries so its portable. I bet they could sell a few.
Adapters for the Tilt/8925 are available all over the web. USB on one end, 2.5mm or 3.5mm on the other. You can get them for 6 bucks here: http://www.tiltdepot.com/
adapter
I have a kaiser and just got the usb to 3.5mm adapter for 7bucks. I have a tape deck in my car so I bought a ipod tape to 3.5mm adapter now I have music and can run tomtom too even at the same time through the car speakers. I like that dock too!

Sound while plugged into car charger

Hello!
When I plug my Touch Pro into an active Adapt carholder the sound output of my touch is forced to the charger (no sound output anymore on my mobile).
Is there any way around this? Any registry setting?
Or maybe remove some of the pins from the mini-usb connector on the charger?
Try getting HTC's official dongle which plugs into the USB port and gives you several connectors;
USB for charging
3.5mm headphone socket
2.5mm mini-headphone socket
USB for HTC's original supplied headphones
If you use this, you can plug in headphones at the same time as charging. I use it to route sound through to my car stereo so I can use the phone as an MP3 player and Sat-Nav.
If you don't use the headphone sockets, sound still comes out through the main speaker on the phone.
Hmm I have one of those, but the car charger I use is a slide-in holder, so there won't be much room for the dongle
Microphone unuseable when plugged into stereo
I use the usb dongle adaptor in my car to push sound through the stereo, however this disables the HTC Touch Pro microphone so although I can hear people calling in (through the car speakers) they cannot hear me.
I think it is because the phone thinks the headphones are plugged in and that I'd use the headphone microphone.
Does anyone have a tweak which would allow the phones microphone to remain in action when using the dongle?
Many thanks

I don't have that problem at all, my phone's microphone works fine while using the USB dongle with a 3.5mm jack plugged into it, connected to my car stereo.
Are you using HTC's official dongle, the one with the 3.5mm, 2.5mm USB power and USB headphone sockets?
It works fine for me!

USB sound output? USB-splitter for charging and headphones?

Might sound strange but I would like to connect a USB headset and charging cable through the microUSB port.
Does the Desire output sound through the microUSB? Will it allow me (if I find the right cables and splitters) to use a USB headset for calls while charging the phone?
Very greatful for all the help I can get.
The Desire has a dedicated audio port, the 2.5mm jack port near the power button. The microUSB port is a standard microUSB, not an extended HTC version, so no audio through it.
You mean 3.5mm
Yes, sorry

MWG Zinc-II Need help for attaching miniUSB to 3.5mm adapter

Hi
I wanted to buy a mini-usb to 3.5mm audio adapter for Zinc-ii phone so that I can use my regular headset for listening songs. I couldn't find a mini-usb adapter for Zinc-ii but I got one generalized adapter (mini-usb to 3.5mm audio). When I attached the adapter to Zinc-ii, it is not routing the audio through the adapter. It triggered the activesync tool first time and it failed for obvious reason because it is a 3.5mm adapter not a computer.
1. Is there any setting which I have to do for routing the audio through the adapter?
2. Is there a place where I can buy a 3.5mm audio adapter if there is a special one for zinc-ii? The headset came with the device is working perfectly fine.
Thanks
i made myself a cable using the original zinc2 headphones get a solder ,wires and 3.5 plug dats it ... or i cud sell mine for lets say 10 gbp + delivery ... i got htc now
Thanks. I will settle for Acoustic Research bluetooth minibridge available in circuitycity website selling for $20

Cable to connect to Ipod dock?

There is an IPOD connector on my audio receiver and no available audio jack. Is there a cable with a 3.5mm male and an ipod connector on the other end that would let me play the GS4G through the IPOD connector?
I'm pretty sure ipod docks use a data connection to get music from the ipod. I don't know if they exist but there might be a usb to female ipod adapter out there, if the receiver is smart enough to read any usb device.
I'm also surprised your receiver doesn't have an aux input. My pioneer from the 80s has one that I use for all mp3 players, just using a 3.5mm to RCA cable.
Is THIS what your looking for? Here's another one.
