Does this replace the lock screen with the vanilla AOSP lock screen, or just remove the HTC one (thus leaving no lock screen)? Thanks.

It removes the HTC one so the vanilla, AOSP lockscreen is displayed

Not sure if it will work but if you upload your /data/data/com.android.mms folder, I can see if the mod will work
I applyed the USB Tethering fix and its still says error code 67 registration failure.
Thanks....this is great.

Do you happen to have the fix for the alarm issue with the AOSP lockscreen?
THANK YOU SIR!

Once the HTC lock screen is removed (only displaying the AOSP lock screen)

Just checked this, pressing menu does in fact unlock the device.
Is it normal that when enabling usb tether (after applying the fix) that my 4g connection drops to 3g for a long as I have usb tethering enabled?

You need to have a modded framework to disable that function. In my ROM, that function is disabled but on other ROMs, I imagine left it enabled as it's the default

Caulkin, do these MMS fixes address the issues with recieving pictures? When I use applications like Handcent or ChompSMS, I can see the incoming size of the picture, however when I go to view it, the picture filesizes don't match and the resolution is reduced. The pictures seem to get compressed down to a smaller size after the applications finish downloading the incoming MMS.
Is there anyway to get the search capacitive button on a toggle? That would be one of the most useful things for the Evo. The button drives me nuts, but I'm not quite sure I want to disable it completely.
You're my hero.
ETA: Curious... would GScripts work for something like that??
Thanks so much! Everything works =)
I just installed the latest nightly of CM7...I thought that the buttons at the bottom would light up for notifications, but they aren't when I recieve an email...is there something I have to turn on to get that, or am I mistaken?
mm0
You have to edit it in CyanogenMod Settings
where? I can't find settings that work...for instance, I want them to blink if I get a gmail...
upon further investigation, the light comes on solid, but very faint when I get an email...what am I doing wrong?
mm0
I'm pretty sure I turned mine on in the spare parts app/setting.

hmmm...don't see it in there...I gotta be missing something!
I think you go to Settings > CyanogenMod Settings > Interface > LED Notifications
I had the SOD issue with CM7, so I ended up loading Faux123's ROM (I know it's a lot like CM7...but thought I would give it a shot)...anyway, I figured it out. It is Settings > CyanogenMod Settings > Interface > LED Notifications, but I wanted it to blink, so you have to change the colors setting (iirc)...a little unintuitive, but it works now in the new ROM, so I'm happy!
thanks!
The same problem as in the subject. When I sign this function (information led is enable), nothing happens.
The same combination whith RunnyendeS ROM worked perfectly. Could someone try this on his endymnion v 2.2 rom?
Settings > Privacy > Message notification preview, checked?
Messages > Menu Button > Settings > Notifications > Notification preview, checked?
Settings > RCmix3D Settings > Misc Options > SMS Screen On, check then uncheck then check again.
If that doesn't work, I don't know whats wrong.
All checked and marked (unmarked too and marked again). Nothing - black screen, only notification light is blinking.
*shrugs shoulders*
I'll try to test it tomorrow, but neither my second nor third handsets have any mobile credit.
I'll be grateful

Hi there,
It won't work. Reason is in Endymion I use the stock sms app. The one from RCMix and ports, although it does allow for screen-on on receive, has other issues:
- secure box won't work
- block list won't work
- changing between these folders can lead to a state where you actually have to kill the app to get back to your inbox.
So, at least in my mind, I chose the lesser of two evils. But you can extract Mms.apk from Rcmix 4 and replace the one in endymion if you want to.
Cheers
Thanks a lot, now I know, that there is everything ok whith my rom. Anyway sms flashing in not a life and death case for me and I think that endy 2.2 is the best rom for my phone.
Peace
I am periodically getting a notification to select my keyboard. I have Swiftkey installed and selected and yet I keep on being forced to re-select it to dismiss the notification. Anyone know how to stop this?

I assume you mean with Titanium? Or is there now a way to freeze apps in Kitkat? And is it ok to freeze the stock android keyboard. Thanks

Stop hearing Android system Select Keyboard Notification
Hi, I was a victim of this thing too and have a creative solution - replace the notification sound by a silent one you create:
- Use your smartphone voice recorder to create a one second silent notification - just press the record button and then immediately again.
- An ma4 sound file is created
- Rename the file to whatever name you want
- Share it - email it to yourself
- Go to your email inbox open the email with the fole and save the file - it will be saved in the "downloads" folder
- Go to Seiings -> Sound and Vibration -> Notification sound -> Deafault Notification Sound -> and change the sound to the one you created
Now it can notify as much as it wants - you will not hear it - like a mute person shouting- Hahahahah...
When someone is calling i can only hear ringtone but i get nothing on screen.
I flashed Incallui multiple times, but i still can't see anything when someone is calling me, only ringtone.
When i try to call someone i get call not sent
Recently i hardly debloated my phone, could that be it?
I still have incallui in place where it should be, so what could this be?
Solved
I have the same problem and it solved some minutes ago. It is because of "notification of phone app" that was blocked by some unknown reason.
U can change it in settings > apps > on the menu select "show system apps" > phone > notification.
Hope work for you too.
Thanks
