Hello, I'm new in this forum, I have a problem with my LG KS20 SFR France, everything was OK till I tried to upgrade my wm 6 to 6.5, so I had after the reset the message (illegal use) (unavailable otp block) I solved the problem by restoring my old wm 6.5 but the problem is that my mobile doesn't recognize any network wether manually or automatically I'm afraid that I can't repair it, What do you suggest me? I searched this forum, but I couldn't find a solution for my update problem. I tried several times to update my German MDAc with this file:

The problem is I get always the Country ID error 120. I tried the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe and the cracked one. With this programs I just get a different error message/number. I tried also various other things: I did the [CHECKCEID_TYPE]=1 modification to RUU.conf, I disabled McAfee, I did a hard reset first etc.
Does anybody have a clue what I'm doing wrong?

I used that one to upgrade my MDA Compact T-mobile (no sim lock) and it works so fine. I wouldn't know what is happening with your MDA...

it's just a German T-Mobile MDAc which I bought 2 months ago. No modifications made. Just a 1GB SD-Card and E-Plus SIM card.
The T-Mobile hotline told me, that I might send it back for exchange/repair. But I would like to keep it....

The story: Received an new O2 XDA NEO from Germany. Being portuguese I don't know nothing of german idiom. I dowloded the JAMIN Eng. rom from the FTP and tryed to unstall this rom. With the ROMUpadte utility that comes with the ROM I get an error. With the ROM Update Utility_NOID the process stars and go normally until 95%. Here, after some minutes give me an error saying I can't upagrade with the NBF file.
I was a little passed out thinking that instead a phone I had a brick. Pul out the batery for moments. After I turned on the phone and it shows the tri color scren of bootloader. Ok conect the usb cable again and start the upgrade to the RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship-NoVendorID. and voila... the process completed without problems.
The weird thing is why my phone doesn't accept the JAMIN rom?
Anyone has an expplanation for that? Thank you

I upgraded my Neo to jamin rom without a problem. I was using the RomUpdateUtility by machinagod, which you can find in this forum. But now I have switched to RUU_2151327..._DOP_ASIA_WWE too. To me, the new version DOP_ASIA_WWE rom works much better than that jamin. More fast, more effective. The JAMIN always runs out memories and makes the CE-Star chinese input inactive, especially when WiFi used. The DOP_ASIA rom rarely meets such problem.
Upgrade rom
You can only upgrade rom but can not downgrade. So now you are at 2.15
but Jamin is at 2.13.

upgraded qtek s200 with RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship.exe, using ROMUpdateUtility-NoVendorID.zip, which does not check Vendor ID.
No major issues so far. During boot dispays Dopod instead of QTEK .
Besides, few differences I found in voice diler and new program called AutoConfig. Appears, to configure automatic settings for your GSM carrier, but only for ASIAN operators, which is useless to me. No worries, interface still English.
It was mentioned few times in this forum, that you may experience some "delays" during flashing your device - don't panic, don't touch it, just wait for some time, it will finish on its own.

I bought a MDA pro (qtek 9000 etc)./
But it is totally messed up by the previous owner. I tried to install windows mobile english (it has windows mobile 6.1 german). But it says it isnt the right software for the device. And the phone function doesnt work.
Can someone please help me with how i can make my phone function work and change the language to english (german is the only installed version).

Do you receive a "error 114" when loading a radio ROM? I've had the "NO GSM", "ERROR 114" since 2005 on my XDA Exec. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a solution. There is some info. on this error that can be found, but not much, and no success stories...SORRY...However, I'd be forever grateful if you did discover a fix and I'm sure others would be too; if you shared it. Good Luck!!
u can ask for a solution through MTTY .. maybe someone can help u format the radio rom and reflash it or something
i'm no expert, but i think some expert can give u a code to use in MTTY to do that

i have the i780(unlocked), i got it from france, don't speak french that much but my i780 is in french, i read a lot in this forum to check out things about this device, and found out that i can change it to english, i also noticed that my version is really old and needs updating. i have version i780XHHA2 & windows mobile 6.
i really would like to upgrade to windows mobile 6.1 or more and have the english version. i read some posts here about russian roms, E1 english rom but got lost half way through so can someone please lead me through this?

old wm6 on i780 orange from spain (no fn+enter or Gand Red key combintion)
I post here even it is to late because I had a problem of a spanish i780 that did not respond to key combintions of hard reset and boot mode. the only way to HR is by using code *2767*...... I forget it lol. But, when I installed an Arabic MUI cab on it the phone can't start so I have no way to Hard reset now since I can't access to dialer no more. and I can't flash by mirage since I can't use fn+Enter on this wm6 orange tweaked rom phone.
The only Solution for me was to download this rom ziddu.com/download/8450774/i780PDXIB1_Upgrader_VISTA.rar and I used wincotroll program from 4shared and samsung xp driver (using windows 7) then I tweaked the rom installer by draging a loop icone from wincontroll (software tweak tab) to the bottom of rom installer and clicked show then an emergency box appeared ... I checked this box (no need to check charger battery or phone connected boxs) and reset the phone or rebooted it. >>>>>>>>>>>> the phone started flashing and horaaaaay I have wm6.1 now and both key combination are working now.
I was able to flash the phone again and again testing for the best rom now I have 6.5 rom that works very very fine for me
NB: I searched the inside and outside of the Web with no results so I applied this tweak as I do to my omnia i900 when facing (incorrect software essage)
I am sure this can help someone else who still have orange wm6 useless rom on his i780.

i flashed successfully WM 6.5 on my Treo 750 and everything is working fine, but unable to surf Internet, though GPRS is connected and the E (EDGE) icon is shown as connected.
I tried flashing the Radio Hermes_Radio ver 1.54.07.00 still the problem persists.
Plz tell me if there's any fixes or patch for this problem . I cant surf at all though i can access internet using different phone and the same sim card.
