Hi,
i already found Mobile GMaps for Windows Mobile. However it is insanely difficult to install and it needs IBM Weme which is commercial and currently you can't even download the trial (IBM links are all dead)
So are there any free Maps (especially Germany) that I can preload to my Windows Mobile 6.1 phone ?

IBM just release the Mobile GMaps for Windows Mobile demo version so i don't think you can use it for along time

I recently came across this tutorial for writing an application that will allow you to control Media Center from your Windows Mobile 5 (and above, I guess) device over wi-fi.
You will need Visual Basic or Visual C# Express Editions, Windows Media Center SDK 5.0, and Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone SDK.
Looks like a fun project, but I've got exams in a few days' time, so will have to wait until the beginning of June to try it out I guess.

just looked at MWg´s website (http://www.mwg.com), I didn´t know this company...but the info seems quite reliable as the company was founded by former O2 members and the phones are nice-looking as well.

Use google but that is SPB mobile shell 3 using the imarche skin pack. Is it not Touchflo 3d.
SPB Mobile Shell 3 is a good frontend.
However, its current version 3.0.x has a major bug not allowing its usage on Diamond2 (Topaz). If you'll install it - you'll not be able to use Contacts. Contacts soft button is blocked and does not response on your clicks.
SPB are aware of this issue, and we all are waiting (already 4 months) for a bug fix.
