Software integrating WM5 phone and a PC via Bluetooth

I have a carputer in my car with a 10 inch touchscreen and a lot of other stuff. Amongst that stuff is a USB Bluetooth dongle. I would like to be able to dial numbers, browse my contacts and answer calls with the PC instead of the much smaller Atom phone screen. Does anybody know about software that does this?
Thanks in advance!
Hi Mastif,
You may find that Soti Pocket Controller Professional works over BT
for you. It throws up the screen of your pda onto your PC screen (so OI don't see why you couldn't try it on ur carputer). the image can be zoomed and all feature of your pda accessed via the PC screen (or in ur case carputer touch screen). Let me know if it works/ helps.

Thanks! I'll have a look at that.
If you don't want to shell out for Soti or don't need all the bells and whistles, there is a similar free app from Microsoft (Remote Display control):-

My Mobiler alternative?

For some reason, I can't use my keyboard to input any data through My Mobiler, nor can I use the copy/paste feature. My keyboard only works on the home screen for dialling numbers!?
So basically, is there another way to connect to my Vox (6.1) using my PC?
Is there a VNC server for the phone?
Shame My Mobiler doesn't work. It's great to use, but keyboard input is my main concern.
A program called True connect works perfectly but it's ugly and costs £15!!
Thanks
I'm having the same issue as well on a HTC S620... Seems to not work on keyboard input

Could you add Celio Redfly Desktop Mobile Viewer Beta to your comparison list, please? I don't know if it is worthwhile but as you are a pro in this field and pride yourself in doing this sort of testing, if only for the sake of thoroughness ... it would satiate my curiosity.
Thanks,
Wovens

Started testing it. So far, looks VERY cool.
I'm having a problem with the mute, I manually muted my phone (on the touch pad) and later I un-muted it with the mouse by clicking on the my mobiler display and now my phone is stuck with the speaker off, if I answer a call I can't hear anything (but they can hear me). Any suggestions on how to fix this? I really need help.

Remote Control Program

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help. I am looking for a program that runs on windows mobile, and connects to a server on my desktop PC and can be used as a customizable "remote-control". There is a specific program i am looking for. I had it once, a long time ago, maybe 5 or more years ago, and you could make custom interfaces and set buttons to do different things. You could even set a mouse track pad and all sorts! I was just wondering if anyone knew what this program was as I cannot remember for the life of me.
I hope this isn't something i have dreamt up and now think is real!!!
Thanks if anyone can help!
you could take a look at Salling Clicker or "PPC Tablet Remote Control Suite v4.1.1".
PPC Tablet Remote Control Suite v4.1.1!!! Thats the one i used to have i think, just checking now, but it sounds right, the salling clicker looks interesting aswell. Thanks alot. This is exactly why i love this sight!

Control powerpoint via Bluetooth?

Hi, i found out some free apps out there to control via Windows Mobile my PowerPoint presentation via Bluetooth.
But i can't manage to find one that works.
I heard that with WM6 it's possible to control remotelly via Bluetooth and using Microsoft Office Mobile.
But i can't figure how to do this or the option.
Does it have to do with the BEAM funcionality?
or can someone link me where i can find an app that does this for me.
Thank you.
Salling Clicker
oh fast reply!
thank you, i'm going to search for it i'll be back to post about it
WORKS like a charm
omg! Thank you very much
This software is so simple to use and to set up.
I'm already connected via Bluetooth and controlling my PowerPoint presentation
Thank you!
Yup salling clicker is beautiful, but not free. I think it limits you to 25 clicks
yup just noticed it after a few testing
But it's easier to setup than the others.
I might buy it in a few days if i don't find any other software that does the same for free.
Any idea of other related software?

You can use it as a mouse so you can click to go next in the presentation.
Isn't that what you want?
but aren`t there like special programms for powerpoint?.. for example a little view of the next page, or a little field to put on little notes and so on?
in PowerPoint mobile 2010 there is an option for that. it asks you to download a software from microsoft.

The only problem is the non-standard BT stack in the HD2 isn't supported:- Bummer!
Salling Clicker can do what you're asking for, not sure how their support is for the HD2 though.
