i bought that new incredible led flashlight app, then i uninstalled it becuase i was having a problem, and trying to reinstall now, but in the market its not saying that i purchased it. i bought it yesterday. I emailed the dev and he said to contact google market, but i cant find an email for them in the market?
If you uninstalled it within 24 hours of purchase then it cancels it and refunds your money/doesn't charge you
Thanks for clarifying for me, ill go re purchase it.

Works great for me, do you have the updated app that requires root?

Yeah, I do. Does the whole keyboard blinking thing work for you too?
Yeah everything works good, I do have the keyboard blinking box checked as well. Is this the version you have? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=13929058&postcount=495
This worked! Thank you so much! I downloaded the version that was in the market, but this one worked, although both requested root haha.
Thanks again

Nice! I didn't explain myself clearly when I asked if your using the version that requested root. Glad I helped.

Quick question, does the whole keyboard blinking thing happen even though you don't have it enabled? I don't have the box checked an it's lighting up and flashing lol.
If I uncheck it, it just stays on and never blinks for me. Kinda weird but if it works without it being checked, thats great.
It works sorta for me. I have the notifications for email, voicemail and twitter but when I get email notifications, I have turned the notifications on the gmail app off and let led me know notify me, the kb blinks and doesn't stop until I turn off the app. It's happened to me a few times, not too sure why. I may just use notifications for gmail only and see how that reacts and then add the other two apps that I want added one by one to see if they work in conjunction.
Does this application really work you, were you also able to choose amber for sms and not just green? It did not work on m phone but it is not rooted yet, will it work if rooted?
Is there an app or something that would notify of a message on the screen so I dont have to check the phone, just look at it? Even a flashing led dot on the screen. Thank you

There is one, I forget the name, but it eats a massive amount of battery.
BLN is far more battery-efficient but every attempt to implement BLN on our phones causes them to crash on a regular basis.
I have been waiting for something myself. I have to turn my screen on and off 20 to 30 times a day checking for missed calls from the office. And that's just surfing work hours.

The app you want is called NoLed and it is GREAT!!! Search the market for it. It is way better than BLN...
I use SMSPro, it has an option for that. Not alot of battery drain. I freeze all other sms services, and use only that one. Never had a problem
I was appalled and bummed to wake up today to see my phone and tablet both had ads in the notification bar! The new bread of ad pushing has begun. I had read about it the potential, but never seen it happen.. until now.
TuneIn Radio is pushing ads - in their pro paid app mind you - to the notification bar!
Was a little surprised to see this as well, even if it's not exactly on the same level of the other air push type ads.
There's a "push notifications" toggle (under settings, obviously) that I turned off after seeing this, assuming it will stop it. Will see.

I don´t have that on my tune in pro, all ok here, great app

Never seen that setting never checked that setting never seen these ads until today and I have had the app for a while so I wonder if that popped up in one of the last updates they did. I now unchecked it, hope that stops it and that that is related too these kind of "notifications".

Do you have the latest version of the app? Do you have that notifications option checked or unchecked right now?

Yeah, will see if that helps. First time and I haven't had an update in a while. Market has the last update being on April 13th.
Not sure.
my notification light is not blinking when i have missed calls, txts or emails? anyone else having this issue?
only time i see the light on is when charging but in the settings its set to be on
Not alone

Yea same thing here what is up with that?
That's odd. Sure notification light settings are on? Believe mine worked out the box. Haven't gotten a missed call or voicemail yet but works for texts just fine. Actually blinks great too, can see the light from a distance and device laying flat. On my HTC One X+ notification light was literally only useful if standing over the device looking down.
Downloaded lightflow now notification led working once light flow off notification led stops working unless charging....
Edit: uninstalled light flow
Now led works every time.I recommend light flow if you want led for other apps for example Twitter, Y! Mail

Play Store Restore to blame?
I found this on AndroidForums, it appears the restore function is pulling in something that messes with the notifications. I am also not receiving any LED notification and I also noticed I do not receive Facebook notifications at all. I noticed a ton of Samsung program apps coming over as well which I thought was strange. I am coming from the Galaxy S3.

So, I tried using the Lightflow app...Can't seem to get it to work. Only had the phone for 2 days.....coming from s3.
Only way to avoid this is to decline the Play Store Restore? If so, how do I factory reset? I am used to using custom recovery (TWRP). How do I get into Stock recovery on this phone?

I can confirm my LED went from not working to working as it should when resetting the phone without backup apps enabled. I then attempted to removed as many apps as i could from google play and then reset with backup enabled and I'm back to a phone w/out an LED. A bunch of them that I unlinked from my account are back after a restart and downloading to my device, not sure why...

UPDATE: I went to the menu in Settings and reset that way. Then declined the Google Play restore. Notification light working perfectly now....
Does not accepting the play backup affect anything else such as getting your settings and contacts? Thanks in advance

Considering I had the backup automatically and save data for apps turned off on my old phone, it's really effing lame it was on and did it on my m8... Mine doesn't work either and I JUST got my phone fully setup... Guess no notifications for me for a while. Dammit Google!

Well yeah, I get that. But if it's caused by the auto-restore of apps and such, then you could say that it's whomever's at fault for having it on by default when you get a new phone. Honestly, it's not a big deal, I check my phone enough plus the ringer is only off during class or while I'm sleeping, I can't complain too much really. If that's the only problem with my phone, then color me happy.
SO IVE BEEN USING POP UP NOTIFIER FOR YEARS NOW TO LET ME KNOW WHEN GMAILS COME IN, MISSED CALLS ETC. LOVE IT...I USE MY PHONE FOR WORK SO I NEED TO KNOW WHEN AN EMAIL ARRIVES. IT'LL TURN ON MY SCREEN and show my pop up...dont know what happened in the last few days but now i dont get gmail pop ups not even my gmail ringtone wil go off...get everything but that...
can anyone recommend an app that'll turn my screen on and notify me of new gmails?
Our Galaxy S6 built-in notification is already very good. If it does not meet your need just download Popup Notifier Free from Playstore.
