Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Hello,
I recently saw an app for the iphone called Sleep Cycle Alarm Clock and looked for it in XDA but couldn't find anything similar. Considering the HD2 has the hardware requirement for this app to work has anyone seen an app like this for the HD2?
http://www.lexwarelabs.com/sleepcycle/
thanks,
Siddhaarth

There is really an app for WinMo that uses the same interface like Sleep Cycle for iPhone.
This app is called Sleep Sense. Very simply made. You add your latest wakeup time (e.g. 8:00 a.m.) and then you lay down your phone on your bed. Then go to sleep and this app measures your sleep and wakes you up.
Hope that is what you looked for.

Thanks so much. Will try it out tonight...

Alarm Clock?

Looking for an alarm clock program.
Anything good out there?
There is CT Alarm Clock Lite (free)
That's not too bad
I was using SPB Time (not free - pretty swanky bit of kit though). Now I use MortPlayer and pick a tune to wake me up. I also use it as my main mp3 player as well.
I use Citytime Alarms and have done for years on my PDA too
Sorry to dig up this old topic but I have a quick question about the alarm clock on the Vox. I have found that if i set an alarm and turn off the phone, the phone does not switch itself on and play the alarm.
Are there any 3rd party apps that will turn the phone on when an alarm is due to play?
No, no software will do that.
Basically all the WindowsMobile devices are just like PCs, if they are "off"... they won't do anything for you.
They should never be "off", Flight mode is a best choice if you want to sleep well
Thanks for the tip. Tried this the other evening and it worked a treat. Only drained the battery 4% as well so that was pretty good going I think.
Chronos by activekitten is a really good program, been using it on all my smartphones for the last 3 years or so.

Alarm App wtih LARGE Snooze, difficult Dismiss?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for the right alarm app for my purposes. I need the following features:
1. Large snooze button with difficult Dismiss button. I should preferably have to clear the alarm by going into the menu and turning them off. There should be basically no way that I can hit Dismiss on accident.
2. Per-alarm Snooze length. I like having the snooze be 10 minutes at first.. but if it's getting close to the time that I need to be up, I need it to be more like 2-3 minutes.
Klaxon works for the most part, but it kills my battery very quickly if I don't have it plugged in. I think it's because it keeps the screen on constantly. Maybe there's a way to turn this off? Also, with Klaxon, if my hand happens to hit the Snooze button (even while the alarm is not going off), the Snooze time gets reset. I think this may cause problems.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
youre basically asking for the windows mobile app "g-alarm" right?
no there is nothing exactly like that on android as far as i know (unfortunatly )
anway i use "math alarm clock" at the moment which is also a very versatile app. it lacks the decreasing snooze and the big snooze button though.
I use Good Morning by Flywheel. It's in the app store. Has a large snooze button. You should try it out. This one does not keep the screen lit.
Alarm Klock isn't bad.

Alarm pro ver. 2 uses teh math dismiss. It's essentially the 2.x alarm with varying snooze options and math capability for dismissal. Icon for it is a red bell alarm. Come to think of it though, it might be called alarm clock plus or something close to that...
Gentle Alarm works great for me, you can limit the number of snoozes, the "I am awake" button is small and requires acknowledgement before it'll shut off the alarm, and you can even have a "follow the path" style dismissal method similar to the lock screen security unlock dots if you want to make sure your brain is turned on before managing to turn off the alarm.
What I also like is that it has a "pre" alarm which wakes you up during a light portion of your sleep cycle if you're already in light sleep. Basically just means you're already almost awake, and you'll wake up easily. It basically just starts a very light and quiet alarm a configurable time before your real alarm. If you're in deep sleep you won't hear it, otherwise it'll wake you up during the right cycle of your sleep pattern. Much better than being startled awake in deep sleep.
And it works 100% of the time, never failed me.
Another vote for gentle alarm. Really really good, never failed to wake me up. Trial is fully functional just doesn't play alarm on wednesday.

+1 more for Gentle Alarm.

Smart Alarm Clock; and it's all but smart. It barely works on anything except 1.5/1.6, uses the built-in Android alarm clock (which is well known to not be all that reliable) and not all that good.
I too have been looking for a good sleep motion tool just to see how I'm sleeping. The alarm clock part of it Gentle Alarm takes care of well for me. Similar idea, except it simply plays a very quiet alarm up to 30m before your real alarm. If you're in a light sleep it will wake you up, otherwise you'll sleep until you're in a lighter part of your sleep cycle. Same idea, without the complication of putting it under the covers.
Well the alarm-part is not so important for me, it's the movement during sleep i want to record and find out since i wake up in the most strange positions most mornings and sleepsense seems to record that quite well.
+1 for an android motion-detector alarm clock....
Looks at "sleep as an Droid" on the market guys.
Be aware that the screen must stay on for the sensors to stay on, and it's reported to make your phone very hot. Not sure if these folks had put the phone in their pillow or under a sheet or what, but just be aware of the limitations.

Sleep tracking / time control / night profile

Hello,
the missing sleep tracking ist terrible, it seems the last update changed nothing.
Is there an app allready?
Is there a possiblity to do a night profile (without gesture for screen on)?
Greetings, vastl
For sleep tracking I really suggest G'Night app. I have it for about a month and it's really good. Worth the 3 dollars it cost. Today the app got an update and added monitoring you're heartbeat and improve stat and graphs. The only minus is that you can't export the data out of the watch.
Sleep as android is great if you don't mind the battery drain and know how to install it. Its significantly better than gnight and its only $2 more. There's tons of settings and the data is stored on your phone so you can see much much more information.
As for a "night" profile, do not disturb turns off gestures and vibrations. Drag down from your watch face and tap the middle button. Just keep in mind you have to enable and disable it manually. There's no automation, which kinda sucks.
Agree it sux big time it is not implemented in an official way.
This is a functionality every smart-band out there have!
Is there not a app that uses just your watch? I don't want to lay my phone on my bed. I actually just want to track how often I wake up like on the fitbit.
I heard the makers of sleepbot are making an app for S2 Gear also.

That would be. G'night. Just make sure you also turn on airplane mode to get it to work well

I am using DnD mode. Whats difference between both? Airplane doesnt wake up at all?
OK here is my question for those of you doing sleep tracking. When do you charge your watch. Mine had about 40%battery left when I go too bed. Then when I get up there is only about 1 hour where I could charge before I leave for work.
I charge my watch before bedtime. When i wake up i have like between 80-88% battery left. With that i can wear the whole day the watch. At the evening it will be around 40-50%.

Airplane turns off BT, wifi and NFC so your watch is not communicating with your phone. DND just turns off notifications so your phone doesn't light up. I have DND on all the time to save battery. With G'night your phone wakes up briefly when it is taking your pulse

Is there anything that deactivates the rotating bezel, find it does not take much to wake the watch that way when sleeping

Duct tape lol

I enjoy seeing my sleep tracking data in Samsung S-health. The watch automatically records it, then uploads it automatically when you check S-health.
I saw some people having trouble where their sleep graph wouldn't show, to avoid this let the S2 upload the data, in other words, dont say yes i was asleep during such and such time, because that's your phone, not the watch info.

Galaxy S7 Alarms not working in DeepSleep

Hey guys,
Not sure if this is common but my alarm app (Alarm Extreme but tried other also) doesn't go off until I wake the phone lol.
This is probs due to DeepSleep. I've once seen a popup for auto hibernation, and I deselected the alarm app.
But I can't find that menu anywhere and its getting annoying as I rely on my alarm to wake me for work.
Any help is appreciated.
I'm having the same issue with Alarm Clock Xtreme as well. It works fine on my S6. But like you, I have to wake the phone up in order for it to work. Ugh!
So, I need help too. LOL.
Did you remember to turn off app optimization for the app under battery more optimize battery use all app

I have a pretty much stock S7, and my alarm didn't go off this morning. This was configured using samsung's own preloaded version of the 'clock' app, and the phone was on a charger (which should prevent doze.)
Thankfully, I have kids. They are noisier than any smartphone alarm clock could ever be.
With me it's always the same type of question....did you try the built in clock app?
Was the phone lying on it's face if so try with it on its back if it works turn off easy mute

My Galaxy S7 has the same problem, using Alarm clock Xtreme.
The battery optimization is set as inactive for the app and it still doesn't go off.
And yes, had it laying on it's back. No cover.

I'm also using Alarm Clock Xtreme. Have been using it for years and never had a problem.
I had Light Manager and AcDisplay running when I ran into the problem. Any of you using those apps?
Seems that everyone with problem uses Alarm Clock Xtreme?
I also had the same problem on S6 with Alarm Clock Xtreme. I think they don't use the "doze-safe" alarm methods, and the app was updated in April 2015...
I haven't experienced this yet with my S7 as I just got it 2 days ago, but when my LG G4 upgraded Marshmallow my alarm apps started to get a bit wonky. Same thing as described above where alarm won't go off in deep sleep. I was using Gentle Alarm at the time and even tried turning off the optimization on the alarm which did not help. I've read a few other Marshmallow devices has the same issue, but it seems if they use the stock clock app everything works. I'm not a huge fan of the stock one though. Hopefully they fix this with an update.
Same thing here with alarm clock extreme.

Alarm not going off
Using alarm extreme. Can set alarm for all different times during day and it works fine but DOES NOT WAKE ME IN MORNINGS.
Is there a setting missing somewhere? Have the galaxy s7. Worked fine on the s5.
Same here (Alarm xtreme)
First day of usage in the morning, did not go off.
I tested it yesterday evening, worked okay.
Today morning did not wake me again, until a pressed the button on it's side.
Any solution to this?
Same here - Alarm clock xtreme with Galaxy s7 edge. Set it to wake me after 1:30 hours - it starts after 1:55 hours.
Alright... I think I may have solved the issue. I went into the "Optimize Battery Usage" menu in the battery settings. I turned off the Optimize Battery Usage option for Alarm Clock Xtreme. I've been testing this for the last several days and it's been working fine.
Anyone else care to try this to confirm that it's fixed?

I tried that a few days ago, it woke me up one morning, but the next day it didn't work until I "wake up" the phone. I do have my phone on "power saving mode" because I listen to music
for over an hour to help me sleep and I don't want my battery to drain too much when I wake up. I don't know if the power saving mode is affecting this as well.
Have you tried it with power saving mode off?

This "doze" feature is starting to annoy me. Alarm clock xtreme works perfectly fine on my S6 with power saving mode on. But it's still
running on Lollipop. I know it's a Marshmallow thing. Google should give us an option to doze or not to doze. LOL
If your phone is on a charger, it won't go into doze. I thought I read somewhere in this thread that the problem was being experienced even when the phone was left plugged in.
