Headset Adaptor form 4-pin to 3-pin

hello forum!
at first: sorry for my lousy english and i hope someome can help me. i used an mda I (from german t-mobile). i want to use an normal phone headset whit micro combination whit the mda (...the stereo headset brings to much cabel in my car...), so i made an adaptor from the 4-pin phone jack to an normal stereo phone-jack whit three pins. i used the settings on the 4-pin phone jack, i saw on this page an i used the left speaker. But if i plug the headset i can hear (fine!), but i can't speak (not so fine!). Nobody can hear me. What do i wrong? is ist not enoutht to bring the cables straight througt the adaptor??? If someone can help me, i will say thanks a lot !!!!!!!

How to play music from Diamond in the car?

Is there any way to do this through the power slot (cigarette lighter)? Thanks.

No lol, you will need some sort of connection to your headunit (either via bluetooth [ad2dp] or usb or a line in or something else along those lines)

I use a fm-transmitter in my car for this, there are several different types of transmitters ( bt, cable ).
Just search for fm-transmitters for mp3 players.

The connector looks different, the one on the Diamond is flat on the left side and that one isn't?

Well, suprise, suprise.
Actually, the mini-USB connector fits Diamond connector though they may seem to be different.

Does it charge the diamond?

Thanks for the ideas, I actually just got the adapter from HTC and I'm gonna go to Fry's this weekend to get a Belkin FM transmitter

the Mini-USB is exactly the same as HTC's variation, the only difference is the outside shape, the HTC one is cut down. Both fit perfectly.

for the car buy Parrot MK6000 , it's cheap an has a great stereo sound ...

i use the cassette adapter with a mini-usb to female 3.5mm stereo adapter... works great

I just received the FMtalk NT-039_DP (bought it from Ebay) and it DOES NOT charge the diamond when pluged in. The transmitter seems to work well. I have yet to try the phone with it.

I use one of those tape adapters connected to the HTC remote. Works really well as a hands free kit also. Bonus!!

first off beware of belkin just took my back fin horrible if any thing get a kensington hundred if not thousands of times better

I use the y cable which splits the mini usb on the bottom of the diamond to a 3.5mm plug and a mini usb. I then use a car charger into the mini usb to charge the phone while a 3.5mm to phono cable plugs into the back of my head unit, allowing for music, calls and sat nav to all go through the car speakers. Works well and the people say they can here me clearly when using it as a hands free kit.

i use the motorolla T505 acts as a speakerphone and fm transmitter

MiniUSB Port configuration

I bough a TyTN (hermes) and i was wondered about why it dont has audio port... 3.5 or 2.5... somebody sold me a convereter miniUSB to 3.5 the same port 11 PIN USB that my TyTN has but... it dont works...
Does anybody knows the configuration pins...??? i see a config for 11 PIN on a forum called Tracy and matt's blog USB EUM configurations pins... but... maybe it dont shows the real thing. any other source...?

htc doesn't use a plain mini usb plug they use ext-usb. Its a special type of plug. I don't know the pins but i do have the adapter and so therefore i know you can get an adapter to turn it into a headphone jack.
Here is an example of one... mine is a bit simpler with just the headphone jack but this will give you an idea.

Yes men i saw it but i have a more simply...
I know the usb 11 pin is a extUSB registered by HTC and I bough this one....

I don't know thats funny, are you sure they are a reputable seller? that your usb it working headphones ect.
I don't think their are different versions but i'll sniff around and see what i can find. They adapter i used worked fine in my 8925

Bizare video transfer with just one jack price some one is special

I bought it 2 weeks ago, as soon as it arrives I will post a review.
It will take some time, cuz everything here (in Brazil) takes a little longer

heu jack is a audio cable this is (i thing) a fake....

i have nearly the same cable (for i phone)
it worked with my old touch pro but it did not work with my acer s200
i think there is no way to let it work , because it is a 3.5mm audio out, nothing else.
Maybe there is an adapter for the USB port, where you can put this cable on( this is the way, how it worked for the touch pro)
but for the touch pro, you also need a software called "tv out".
so i think, nobody would create this softeware for this phone and noone will build this adapter for this device

Touch Pro, and then thouch pro2 had specific hardware components. S200 have not.
You can just put you S200 in usb mode and connect it to a divX player to see films.

Well, I finally got around to testing the to I have. One is the original that came with my HTC U11. The other is the one that came with the Pixel 2. The official one from HTC is 10x better in sound quality. I was amazed at the difference it makes with a high level audio system.

The one made by Razer sounds amazing too! Much better than using the Sonic headphones that came with the phone.

That's what all of these adapters are for... plugging your 3.5mm headset jack into the adapter, so it can be used with the USB-C port.

Do we know if the pixel's 2XL headset Adapter 3.5mm in the box, fits properly with HTC U12+ ?

It's crazy how much they cost., and it's just to adapt to the majority of headset/earplugs, which have a 3.5 mm jack.
Shame shame shame on those oems who replaced the jack with the USB-C.

I am looking for a adapter usb c also.. Apart the HTC adapter, it does not have much that seems to work. Your link i am not sure is working fine.. also in your link the seller said: Not compatible with Google Pixel, Essential phone, ZTE and HTC phones.

NEITHER of these work ONLY CHARGE Phone. Same error POPUP
My previous post for the other adapters DO work but they are only Head Phone adapters ONLY.
( hence this is why I am looking for an adapter that will charge the phone while connected to my home stereo AUX input )
The HTC U12+ is COMPLETELY STOCK (NO ROOT or special software installed in it )
I even went to the point as to resetting and wiping out the phone since i really do not have much on it so I was not going to loose anything .

You can use "Audio Router" app to use these adapters (they are not working because there is no DAC inside).
