Linked below is a MetaMorph to apply an "inverted" AOSP style black taskbar & corresponding drop-down notification menu for Fresh 2.1.2+.
Special thanks to koricua74 for the great idea and doing the tedious task of inverting all of the various images, icons, etc. I took those images, then applied the various XML, 9patch, and smali edits necessary to complete the job, so this is a nice collaborative effort.
If you are running any sort of mod for removing the battery, clock, or both from your taskbar, they will return with this mod. You can simply go back and re-apply any of those mods after applying this "theme", to re-remove them if desired.
MetaMorph tends to have trouble applying changes to multiple framework files in a single morph, which this mod includes, and as such, applying the MetaMorph may require multiple tries. If your phone freezes / reboots when attempting to apply the final step, it may come back up with only some of the mod/theme applied, such as only partially changed icons, etc. If this is the case, apply the MetaMorph again, this time, only selecting the final sub-theme, 'framework-res.apk'.

As usual, your initial boot will take some time as your cache is rebuilt. Always NANDROID & reboot after applying.

This has been done as a MetaMorph so as to prevent undoing other changes to your setup. There's no way of knowing what other changes you may have applied, and flashing via recovery would end up reverting you to stock otherwise. That's why this is done as a MM.
is there a way to make it so we can see the % on the battery also?? thanks i love this mod!

figured out how to add a zip. here are the files jschisurf. they are the proper file names already as i just copy and pasted your file names. thanks for the great mod again!

Okay, pardon the complete noobness on my part, but how do I install/apply this? The only modifying I've ever done is straight through Metamorph...
its a metamorph theme...just extract the folder inside the zip to the androidthemes folder then apply it..

Found out the there was a nested TransparentGenie folder, removed.
Works great!

I'm feeling kinda dumb here. This is my first time using metamorph.
I removed the nested folder and rezipped, but still get that same error.
The folder structure is as so:
TransparentGenie.zip

Inside geniewidget folder there is:
res/drawable-hdpi/(bunch of pngs)
I press the unzip/extract new theme and select the zip and it still gives me the same error. Am I missing something?

Here is a port of Detox. This theme was originally made by Cubanaso.
This is basically what I would consider a dirty port. I haven't cross checked to make sure everything is working however, I have installed it on my phone without issues.
This port will take almost no priority with me. If I can find some time to fix the known issues I will but don't get your hopes up for a quick fix.
Known Issues:
Power Widget has a white background with white text
White Text in area's where it should be black (still readable though)
Strange Items showing up in widget selection
Installation Instructions:
You must be running Skyraider v2.2 Sense - This theme is untested on other roms and could potentially crash your phone.
In theory it should work with other 2.2 deodexed Sense roms from the 8/1 leak
DO A BACKUP!!!!(This step can be done from ROM Manager)
Copy the zip to a directory on your SD Card
In ROM Manager choose install ROM from SD Card and choose the zip you just placed on the card
In the ROM Pre-Installation window put a checkmark next to "Backup Existing ROM" ONLY!!
DO NOT put a checkmark next to Wipe Data and Cache!!

You can install the theme from Recovery - Just make sure to do a Nandroid backup first

I love this theme so much but i recently updated to the newest skyraider (2.5.2) and flashed this theme and now i have no htc calander widget or htc people widget. It just shows up as like question and number marks in the slect widgets window. Is there any way you could update this tobe compatible for the newest skyraider? It would be greatly appreciated thank you!

If you could port the red and black version that'd be epic. This looks good.
Probably not going to happen for a while guys, busy working on other things, sorry. You could always open up the widget apk's from this theme and copy the .pngs over to the updated widgets apk's and see if that solves the problem.

I don't know what the hell you just said but I can promise you I will be trying it tonight.
well i modded this hollow live wallpaper when android 2.2 first came out.. its the one live wallpaper i use constantly.. made it to match up with myns rom, but this will work for all roms i beleive.. they must be 2.2 tho... just take the zip and flash it thru clockwork or any recovery.. also can be flashed thru rom manager.. i tried to capture some drocaps but the quallity of the caps sucked.. if anyone gets a good screen of either version that be awesome..

Is there a line in one of the waveform.rs files that controls the color? -can I add more lines then 2 at once editing wafeform.rs? Hollow is best.

yeah, i'm not exactly sure.. to switch the coloring you just use a photo editing app. and recolor the png images it uses, they are in the apk.. try extracting the apk you will see.. i am searching for a 2.3.4 flash zip so i can get this installed on miui,,

Hmmm..not sure, it should have changed everything. I just reinstalled pnp and then downloaded this theme and installed and everything is just right. Are you using 2.2? Installed pnp? Disable lagfix?
....Well...now I noticed I have no battery...weird, everything else is fine, but I installed the blue steel, and everything stayed red except for some icons, and I had my battery back...Im gonna re-flash back to 2.2 and reinstall everything and see what happens with a fresh system....will update again.

If you haven't reflashed already, try just waiting. For no obvious reason, sometimes when flashing themes over each other they will leave stuff behind, if you wait like an hour a lot of times it will fix itself.

First off, I want to say thanks a bunch for this theme. It rocks. I love being able to run joelz' ROM with an ICS twist.
That being said, I have a few quick question for you. There seems to be a weird gray glitch going on in my Messaging. It's on my Sent side, and basically it is two long rectangular boxes on the top and bottom of the message image where the text sits. Did I need to wipe everything clean before flashing the .zip and installing the .apk? Or is this something you're aware of?
