I use this one as well. Very satisfied with it, it can also intercept controls from your headset to play/pause.

I will say that doubleTwist is the best Music Player to Android atm.

htc sense apps/widgets for ROMs without sense?

is it possible? if not, can anyone list alternate apps for
- contacts manager
- music
- calendar
yes, you have to buy launcherpro plus...Just try it out for a day. It comes with most SENSE widgets minus music I think.
music was the one i was looking for the most
i have launcher pro plus, just installed it a few minutes ago. greattttt app.. i love it!
Get Musicmod by eliot stocker from the market, you'll enjoy it.
For the music, try Meridian (app+widget)

I haven't tried it personally, but this link gets you to the Sense Froyo music player

The best ever Music player for android

Friens finally TTpod has release its 2.5 version and its the best ever android music player out there. awsome skins. Now also has equalizer. Has 3 screens with visualizations.
Feature list will be nice..
Edit: Market says 2.3.4 so how you got 2.5?

Thanks for the share buddy.... I will try it for sure!!!
I tried the one the market (2.4.1), and it's really great!
The UI is really intuitive and pretty (3 skins), the integration of lyrics too. The widget has lot of features, display song progression, lyrics too, even on over the homescreen by one click.
Only drawback, the way we browse through the library is unfinished.
If I start looking at an artist, I would like to then see the albums.
For now all the artist's songs get mixed up even with correctly tagged mp3 files.
And it doesn't find as much lyrics as Wikitune or Lyrics app.
There is more info of the 2.5 here : http://mobileplanet-waryam.blogspot.com/2011/08/ttpod-v250-beta-250-android-apk-app.html
TTPod was my favourite player on symbian, on android i did not like it so much, but i will try it again.
I like it.! Better then stock n other paid apps. ( wont mention names). When there's a song playing n its on my screen how do I add to favorites? On the sane screen? .... I kno I can hit list then the song then the heart. Is there an easy 1 touch way. alot safer when driving ..... thanks for sharing this!

I tried it and still dont like it on android.

This used to be my favourite on symbian for some years and now I can finnaly get even more than before... I find EQ a great upgrade to it!!! But it lacks some more presets, Poweramp has better sound quality than TTpod...
I find the miui music player and ubermusic way better than this.
Agree MrHaxx1. MIUI Player has all this and much more. Ubermusic + DSP Manager is also pure awesomeness.
Love it

You mean audio manager by dsp manager?
NM found it is from cyanogen
I agreee that that there may be some other music player out there with more features. But let me tell you that none of them run as smoothly as this one on a low profile device such as HTC Wildfire with froyo. So its clear that it uses less resources. And while using other music players while changing settings on equaliser the mini second pause is clearly evident on a low profile phone. But TT-pod solves that for me. Hence for me its the best and more importantly you allhave to agree that none of the players are visually so appealing as this one even the MIUI player
Is anyone else's recommend and online music sections in Chinese?

That's great and all but playerpro isn't a free app, its initially a trial and then a paid app. I've used player pro and I didn't find it all that great of a player
Yup.. Its a paid app... But its one hell of a player bro.. Just set equalisers like this and just listen through headset.. You could enjoy music with all its effects.. But sound is bit less... Sorry for my bad english

Xperia music app for nokia 6

Hi
I found this port that is best replacement for Google music app on Nokia 6.
It's so smooth and feel great music player and I want share
It......
Press thank button if you like it.
I just downloaded it, so it opens and has all the options. I'm going to wait until tonight to give it a full test with my Bluetooth headphones. This could very well replace my poweramp alpha version that is definitely dead speaking of updates. Thanks in advance.
Oh yeah! It works flawlessly, sounds better than poweramp and i don't have to do any configuration. Thank you, you just made my listening experience a lot better.
Thanks for app... Working good...

I've helped myself anyways. Thanks.
Great, plays WMA, works with Android Auto, and has interface for selecting tracks via AA. This could be my new go to music app for in car at least. Thanks for sharing.

I'm finding big differences in relative volume between different tracks when using this app (on a Nokia 8). I never noticed this to anywhere near the same extent when using PowerAmp. Anyone else finding the same?

There is this thing, I don't recall the name, might be Google or something like this, where you can type and search things with a few words.

Am using PowerAmp since well over 8 years now and never regretted buying the Pro version for a few dollars. Had abandoned it while my old xperia was still running with Sony's stock ROM (Sony Music player's not really bad, I couldn't remove it anyway while being unrooted, and I didn't want to have 2 similar apps). After I had opened the phone, and now on my OP6 Poweramp resurfaced, and it's still great. Has a zillion options to adjust the app's behaviour, apply skins etc.
And hey; I even am willing to provide a link here for you: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.maxmpz.audioplayer

Yes the ported sony Walkman player is one of the best.. Has a nice clean ui and the sound is good
Using very long time PowerAMP. Can recommend it!
PowerAmp is so cool. I bought pro version and never regretted
Like others, I use PowerAmp. There are some very fine skins, if you are into that whole customization thing, but the music sounds great, and there are so many options for tuning the sound, album art, etc.
It really does "Whips the Llama's Azzz". (Sorry, I couldn't resist)
I started using Musicolet, works like a charm!
Nice UI and a lot of custimizations.

I'm on Retro Music and it's great. Simple design, lots of customisation and no ads.
I'm on Sony Music Player since 2012 with Xperia Phones... There's a port here on XDA, but i think the apk from apkmirror will work too
Poweramp here..one more.
