where coul I get a brown today, as mine is damaged. One pin broken so it doesnt hold good anymore.

Balos, did you order an new battery cover yet? I'm looking for one too, but in the Netherlands they are quite expensive, € 20,- plus € 10,- shipping costs. I couldn't find one on ebay. Are there people who ordered a less expensive one?

Well, that's an option but it's rather expensive. I only need the back cover.

HTC sell 'em, at least in the UK. There is a couple of weeks wait but it's worth a look.

what about getting a dummy phone from ebay, I think you can pick them up for around £5.
Not sure however if they are complete replica's of the outer housing so its a gamble

you have to be joking, dummy phones dont come to bits they are a fixed piece of plastic but the £15.99 back cover from HTC does look good but extremely expensive.

I just ordered a battery cover from htcaccessorystore.com. Will let you know if it's any good.

I am assuming your have your phone from Orange UK, if this is the case, you can phone orange and they will replace for FREE, well that is what I did

As there are already Silver and Black versions of the HTC Desire available...
are there any hard housings available to purchase? I mean like the original... not just a case.

Id be interested in knowing if you can purchase the original black housings.

$90 USD, damn that expensive!! I cracked the glass on my battery cover, but there is nowhere in NZ that sells parts, and to courier is almost as much as buying a new phone!!!
The back covers are around 30 USD, They are such a terrible design, having to lever them off, of course the glass is going to crack.
I waiting for Ebay to start making some back covers for $5 free postage.

replacement casing

i just dropped my lovely tg01 leaving it with a few minor scratches on the black outer casing and was just wondering if it was possible to buy a replacement ?

I think I saw them on ebay before, just look for it there

i cand find anything on ebay i have the same problem here i nned the full body housing

I have TG01 new shell, but I was in China, the price 300RMB

i went to original poundworld at st helens last week and they were selling dummytoshiba tg01s, like the ones that you see in the shop . I night one but I cant seem to pryopen the battery cover,I will post pictures soon!

I haven't been able to get a reply after 3-4 emails to official toshiba accessory vendor!

Camera glass cover question

I replaced camera glass (not lens) because it was cracked. Looks like new one is plastic, it can be easily scratces and if I remember correctly original one is glass not plastic. Is every replacement is plastic or I bought bad one, this is important because I can't afford them easily. You guys pay 5 but I have to pay 20 or more.

You can get a glass original samsung from Ebay, not expensive

1 $ = 3.67 ₺ that makes 5$ product costs me 18.38₺ which is high for me to buy another to try many times.
Can you recommend another site? (they shutdown paypal in my country so i can not shop from ebay)

Do a thing take your phone to a watch repair shop who puts glass in wrist watches, and ask them to cut the glass of the phone camera size and apply it on your phone. Got mine fixed from a local watch repair shop at 1.5$ and the camera is working just fine as it used to do.

I bought a plastic one and you are correct scratches easily, i found one on amazon which is glass https://www.amazon.com/Mudder/b/ref...8123742011&field-lbr_brands_browse-bin=Mudder
hope this helps ..its a little more difficult to install so watch the video on youtube first to get correct order of pieces

Hi guys. I just have a quick question. I bought my note 4 2nd hand and upon checking i noticed there's a small crack on the glass cover of the rear camera. When i tried using the camera, it could not focus at all. It keeps blurring. So i replaced the glass cover, and when i tried using the camera again, same issue is still present.
Should i just change the entire camera assembly?
