Why you make a 2nd thread?
Go to settings--->Applications----->Remove Application--->select cookies home tab from list and tab uninstall!

i have the same prob, i dont know where to uninstall cookie's home tab, and get back the original home screen? please help!

tsk tsk tsk.. on the official Co0kie's Home tab thread it says in the Q&A
"Q: After uninstaling CHT, sense doesn't work, or it works but the home menu doesn't come up.
A: Copy \windows\home_pages.xml to \windows\manilaxml\home_pages.xml (overwrite existing file). Then delete \windows\manilafull.xml and soft reset."

I tuned of sense and then uninstalled CHT and the editor and turned sense back on and it just kept freezing.
and i remembered i was able to install and reinstall CHT 1.7.
so installed CHT 1.7 and tried uninstalling it and it still kept freezing.
and this is just ridiculous i don't know why it won't uninstall proplerly

First and foremost.. Please don't post a new thread asking a question on how to remove a software that has it's own support thread. Furthermore, if you INSIST on doing whatever you want regardless... Please provide more information - CHT version, ROM version, Manila version, etc.....
Now that being said... Since I don't know what version of CHT you are trying to uninstall, please ask your question in the appropriate thread:
CHT 1.8.5 = http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=625483
CHT 2.0.0 = http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=792303

Problem deleting programs

Hello all,
I have a problem, i installed a .cab file which was taskbar icons.. now half the icons didnt work so i wanted to delete it through "remove programs" in settings as i always do.. but for some reason when i highlight the program and click "remove" it says "Darklord69 Tasbar was not completely removed. Do you want to remove it from the list of installed programs?"..
It wont remove it self from my system and it has completly stuffed up my icons.. is there another way i can delete programs and some how fix this issue?
Thank you.
Anyone had this same issue?
remove it, then when its says "cannot be removed" click ok, then install it again.... this should get rid of it
Do not remove from programs list, sort reset, then go and remove again. Should work.
Thanks guys.
I have tried all that but it didn't work i had to reset my phone back to manufactors default.

SlidingPanle/Titanium Changer

here is my SlidingPanle/Titanium Changer hope you like it
only works on wm6.5
(1) copy Chome.tgz to your windows folder
(2) copy Titanium.lnk to start Menu
(3) copy CeleCmd folder to Program Files open it with resco press menu press 2 file association
(4) go to start Menu and press the titanium the press lift or right and pick
titanium panels for titanium and for slidingpanels for sliding panels
(5) reboot phone
Heres the link ⇩⇩⇩⇩
Tried, before this I installed the Titanium cab file for titanium panel.
Then I just patched all your files, when I tried to switch to Chome and reboot, I get this
Why is there X everywhere?
Your titanium panel seemed so different then the other titanium panel, how come ?

-these cpr's are helpful if your using Gregory's WM6.5 Standard ENG OCOS 5.2.21234, they remove the getting started tab off the titanium screen (useless in the rom since welcome center is gone).
i just replaced them in windows while titanium was active then rebooted.
-if you want to show the contacts option iinstead of setting the clock heres the regisrty edit
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE>Software>Microsoft>Chome>CClock
change :msclock to ":MSCONTACTS" and "set" to "Contacts"
just a couple things someone might find useful
-also i cant seem to get any plugins for titanium to work on that standard rom, are the pro only or just dont work with this?
How to associat files.
Th I have copied all files accordingly, bit confused about file association.
How do i do that , ink to associate with ? and the other file.

HELP - Uninstall Fonts?

I have been playing around with system fonts and I have forgotten to uninstall between trying each font cab...
Now, some of the text does not change back from one particular font!
(see attached image: note service provider, calendar text - also on slider page titles...)
Do I have to hard reset to get this back to normal, or is there something else I can try?
Just to let you know, I am not experiences in registry editing, I have only been installing/uninstalling cabs.
I'm running standard, updated HTC UK ROM.
Thanks for any help!
fonts
just reinstall the font cabs that you forget to uninstall. It will says font already installed, overwrite? Answer yes. If it says font cannot be uninstalled, continue, just answer yes. Reboot, and it will be uninstalled.

I cannot remove GTX Sense 2.5 theme

I installed it and now I want to remove it but when I do it says GTX Team GTX Sense 1.7.1 was not completely removed. do you want to remove it from the list of installed programs? I press yes and it still stays there any ideas I even deleted all its files from the phone that I could find
you have to hard reset your phone because the gtx sense mod changes some internal manila files. so back up all of your data then go to start > settings > system > clear storage

Why start a new thread? you shouldve just asked in the thread? Anyway,
Reinstall the theme.. When you clock on the cab, itl say do you wanna uninstall, then "it was not fully removed" or something, click yes that you still wanna install, and voila itl be gone

cant remove a theme..

i was trying to uninstall the starview fallout theme 2.0 from my htc to go back to default theme, but each time i try to uninstall the theme, it said: "...was not completely removed. Do you want to remove it from the list of installed programs?"
even if i say YES, it still show on the list..now i'm stuck with this theme not matter what other theme i install after..
is there a way to fix this? which directory is the theme installed on the sd card, maybe i can manually delete the files that way to restore back to default theme?
I get this sometimes and I find out that installing the app again removes it (yes I said install). This worked for me many times over. Try this first.
thank you,this did work..strange haha

Go to File explorer and find the file where you download. click the file then it will tell you (The previous version of "name the file" will be removed before the new one is installed.) Select ok then select yes and click install ( don't worry, it will remove after restart) please check on application and make sure the file isn't there anymore!
hope this help!
