Is it my phone, or is the market messed up???

I cant see a lot of my normal apps on the market including facebook, beejive, pandora, shazam etc... Can anyone else see these apps? If so, how would I go about fixing it?

is there anything out there that will keep track

is there anything out there that will keep track of the free apps on my phone. I know the maket has all the paid apps stored. BUt the free apps seem to be "remember what you had and go find it again" Am I wrong? I've got a lot of very occasional use or background stuff, and I would hate to esort to pen and paper to write it all down.
The market stores both. I wiped my phone last night and when I rebooted all the apps I had downloaded previously reinstalled themselves, both paid and free.
I cant speak though if you uninstalled an app and then wanted to reinstall it, if it will stay forever in your market.
install appbrain and sync it.
I had this same problem a while. I had to tell it to sync to gmail (or Google, however It's worded) and if auto sync is turned off you have to manually tell it to sync. If i decline the backup to Google my market remembers paid apps, if i accept it and sync it at least one time, they are all in the market.
Rooted Thunderbolt on BAMF Sense 3.0 RC 4 with MR2 radio and latest dreamKernel.

go to market.android.com in your browser
sign in with the account you use to make purchases on your phone.
top right, click 'my market account'
everything you ever downloaded is there. you can reinstall by opening the app and it will open up on your phone. hope this helps.

Can't get google to stop saving searches on firefox for android

Hi, Having a small issue with the google webpage when viewing on firefox on my Huawei P30 Pro.
I previously had a Samsung S8+ an had the same setup on that, android 9.0, latest version of firefox and the same bookmarks that are synced to my account, I didn't have this issue on the S8+ though.
Basically when i'm on google and signed in on my P30 Pro google keeps constantly saving my searches and showing previous searches every time i tap on the search box, this is even though in my account it clearly shows as paused and not saving searches..
I have tried clearing the cookies stored for google and even though when i clear them it then logs me out of my google account, when i log back in it still carries on saving the searches.
I still have my S8+ and if i turn that on and go to google the searches are still off and don't show.
I really can't work out why it just won't work as it should on my new phone?
has anyone got any way they think i can do it? i don't really want to remove the google bookmark as i have my bookmarks in the order i want them and theres no option in firefox to re-sort your bookmarks like in most other browsers.
Thanks
James
I have the same problem on my Moto G6 Play. Turned off (and cleared) search history in Google, yet Google in Firefox still shows all new searches.
anyone else please?

Two facebook apps

I've tried to Google this a few different ways but I can't find an Answer. All of the sudden when I click facebook links or notifications I'm presented with the 2 Facebook options. They both have the same icon and I can't seem to find any installed apps that would mimic facebook and no second facebook in the app drawer. Is this a bug or is this something trying to trick me into opening a fake app? Is there any way to figure out what app this is without resetting the phone?
This is a tmobile note 20 5g running android 11 if that makes a difference.
Additional info. My note 9 that I use as a backup is doing the same thing and I haven't installed anything on it or used it for anything other then phone calls I'm months.

Facebook app Manager, Installer and Services - Safe to remove?

I'm kind of a noob on these apps but it seems that there are 3 "hidden" Facebook apps that sometimes I see running when I check my battery usage (Facebook app Manager, Installer and Services). I was wondering if it's safe to remove them or if it will have some impact on the functionality of Facebook.
You can't send or reply to FB messages unless that crapware is loaded on the device I believe.
So if you want to use those features...
FB is malware. Personally I ditched it years ago as it can't be safely used. It is known a purveyor of disinformation and data miner extreme.

AFAIK Facebook uses Facebook app manager and Facebook app installer to update their software and bypassing the Google Play app store.
So i should not disable any of them?
Correct.
