Would love for one of you Nexus 1 owners to see if there is actually a BT voice dialer apk in 2.2. If so, would love to see someone pull it out, if possible. TIA.

Doesn't look like there's anything available for Bluetooth voice dialing except for a few custom Roms which is a real shame.

ive got cyanogen 6.0 on my phone and its been working great. the only thing i want to change is i want my old calendar app back with the better looking widget as well and also i liked the sprint 2.1 in call phone user interface, you know the one with the long red endcall bar and just a speaker and mute button. i just dont like how the cyanogen mod phone user interface looks. and the calendar is a piece of crap compared to the original one that came with my phone. is there a way to get these back, but keep everything else cyanogen? i tried downloading a zip of the 2.1 software and moving the calendar apps into the cyanogen zip but it kept making me force close because there was a problem with the com.calendar.whatever file. can anybody hook me up?

Not going to happen for a while. What you're describing is Sense UI, which is not available yet for 2.2 Heroes.
Check out pure calendar or smooth calendar. As for the phone I prefer asop's because I no longer hang up on the caller with that huge end button.

The closest thing you can get to Sense Widgets is LauncherPro they have comparable widgets to re-Sense your phone as far as the dialer fo-get-about-it

Not entirely true ... DialerOne (free in the market) is a very Sense-like dialer in terms of T-9 searching for contacts, and actually is more expansive because of their swiping menu options. Check that out for a Sense dialer replacement.
Currently running 2.2 on my hero and was wondering if there was a way to customize the phone dialer / contact list. If anyone knows how id appreciate it
Dialer One from the Market.
I'm moved from HTC Sense to Cyanogen 7 and I like the experience sofar.
One thing I cannot get to work is speed dial (linking contacts to a single number and quickly dialing them by longpressing the number or dialing the single number).
Did anyone else get this to work?
I am interested in what ..
I miss the dial T9 style MIUI: (
i missed it too plz someone help us i need the speed dial
Speed dial I'm not too sure about but if you really miss the t9 feature you can search for go dialer ex in the market and it really offers the same features as miui if not more

Funny isn't it, that we have lost functions today that we had fifteen years ago? Even the first Nokia's i owned had speed dial, and you could set an alarm and turn the phone off as it was able to turn itself on so that the alarm sounded.

Dialer One (Market) is smart multilingual T9 Dialer
I love the Google Dialer, the way it displays picture is awesome. In front of it, Samsung dialer is ugly.
So, is there any method to completely the Samsung dialer with Google or similar AOSP dialer?
I know there are many apps available in the market which although replaces the contacts and call log screen, but when it comes to dialing the number, it reverts to stock dialer.
I have Note 5 running Moar 2.2.
Any views?

That's the page I used. Works absolutely fine on my sprint note 5 using rooted deodexed stock mm ROM.
Thanks, will try that after upgrading to MM.
Update: Flashed MM Rom and also flashed the Google dialer. Working fine and no FC however, whenever there is incoming call, it is not recognizing the name already stored in the contacts. But, when I look at the log, the names appearing properly.
I have given all the permission to Google dialer and contacts.
Any fix?
Update: Well I flashed the ROM again due to some other issue and after that I flashed the Google dialer zip.
Now all working fine. Thanks all
My kid loves to see her Grandpa's Pics when she or they call
Just wanted to let you know that with Marshmallow we now have the ability to choose the dialer the system uses. I was able to install the Google Dialer apk and set it as default. I'm not rooted and it's working well ☺

So I converted to the Global Rom. So far so great. Much better than being stuck on TMO. We get Google dialer instead of the one plus dialer which I like better but really doesn't fit with the skin OP has. Anyways when I play a voice mail and put my phone up to my face the screen goes off but the message stops playing. Am I missing a setting somewhere?
