You want to view the attachment that has been sent with the e-mail. You could look for FlexMail. Don't know for sure though
Images should be shown as attachments in the standard mail program. Depending on your mail settings you may have to mark them for download and then send and recieve again. Once the attachments are downloaded clicking on them should open up your image viewer. The default mail program doesn't handle attachments and photos as well as FlexMail, but it does handle them.

picture shortening?

hi there,
what im looking for is an app that allows me to upload a pic to twitpic (or similar)
and immediately copies the newly created url so as to be able to send it as a text?
obviously i could
1. take the picture in camera
2. share using almost any twitter client
3. copy the twitpic url in the twitter client
4. exit the twitter client
5. open handsent
6. paste the url in
7. send
i get charged outside my plan for mms so dont like sending pics via mms
so what im imagining is something like this..
1. i've taken a photo that i want someone else to see
2. i share via an app that somehow combines twitpic and linkshrinker and automatically copies the url
3. straight into handsent and boom back of the net its sent!
any ideas?
cheers in advance

[Q] Picture attached to a message / MMS from an iPhone cannot be viewed on WP7

Hi fellow WP7 users!
My friend has just sent me a picture message from his iPhone 4 to my LG Optimus 7, but I can't get the phone to show the picture. I'm not sure if it's a picture attached to a text or if it's a picture sent as an MMS.
This is how it appears on my phone on the Inbox home list:
[My friends name here]
Media content in this message
When I click it, the conversation thread shows up. Then it shows an underlined clickable link that says Get media content now. Clicking it makes it show Getting media content. But then nothing comes out of it.
I apologize if the same issue has been asked somewhere in this forum and resolved by the community. I did go through several threads that seem relevant, but I couldn't find anything like this. Thanks.

Getting my pic in the SMS thread for ICS

In the stock sms app can you think of a way I can get my picture to show for texts I send. I have everyone else FB pic sync'd but when I click on the "no pic"in the sms thread to attempt to edit the contact and put my pic on there is just says that there is no contact to edit
thanks
ps I do have myself saved in my contacts with the picture, it just wont carry over to the sms
The way I've done it is opening the "people" app and there's a section you can put your own contact info in, when you put a picture there it shows up in SMS for your photo. It doesn't sync with Google though from what I can tell so if you wipe you have to re-add the photo again
Sent from my LG-P999
worked, thanks

[Q] Can't view email attachments from Iphone

I searched everywhere but couldn't find a resolution to my problem. When I get pictures sent to me from my fiance's Iphone through the stock IMAP email client I can't view them on my phone (the message is blank with no picture or any tab to click to download picture) but they are fine through a computer. Just to test if it was a file issue I saved a picture that she sent on my computer then sent the picture to myself and I can view it on my phone. Is this an issue with how Iphones send a picture files?
Up for more looks, possible fixes, and/or ideas...
More specifically this is an AOL account.
Here is an example: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...attachments-standard-not-gmail-email-app.html
Apparently other android users aren't able to get email attachments from Iphone users. There isn't even the paperclip attachment showing up for the corresponding email in the list or actual email when I open it. You can see in the attachment.
I'm sure I could your a different email client but I prefer the native version.
