Hey guys, i cooked this rom for personal testing. It is based on a stock N1 rom and adamg's test rom #thanks adamg... here are some specs...
- based on the GRI40 (Android 2.3.3) system dump #thanks dsixda
- De-odexed
- Rooted with SU app #thanks chainsdd
- Busybox 1.18.3 #thanks stericson
- Market 2.3.3
- Cleaned up some stuff, you can get all of them in the market
- Email and Gmail inlcuded
- signed
I'm using custom MTD 90 MB system 50 MB cache and everything runs fine.
If someone can help me to redirect the market downloads to sdcard or /data we could use oxy hboot!
At the moment a hboot with bigger cache is recommeded, because downloads are going to the root of /cache
I think you can use Darktremor's Apps2SD Beta 4 Script, if you are running out of space...
I uploaded the rom to Multiupload, but will upload it tomorrow to a fast mirror.

There are no cosmetic mods listed. Hence, looks like a completely stock N1 Gingerbread build.

i don't think so... i tried dark tremor script and it's not working
thx. it is a very good rom, but please include a user-agent in the stock browser i hate it to install some other browsers.
Power bar in dropdown notifications
I have installed ROM-GINGERBREAD GRI40] DevNull-TEST and have allready added gmail and email to it.
To make this a 'perfect' rom for myself i would like to also have the pulldown power notification bar which was included in most Oxygen 2.0 roms that i tried.
Does anybody know how i can add this to my device (flashable zip hopefully).
I have posted this question in the ROM-GINGERBREAD GRI40] DevNull-TEST forum and only got rather rude answers! and in the Oxygen thread were nobody could help.

You will need to add it to the framework of the ROM and recompile it which is not easy unless you're a developer. I would recommend using Widgetsoid from the Market . It does not have the notification power widget but it's highly customizable.

I'm far from a developer but would like to give it a stab. I have unzipped the oxygen rom and unzipped [ROM-GINGERBREAD GRI40] DevNull-TEST rom for comparison of system\framework and am now at a loss. Many of the files differ considerably. Perhaps i am out of my depth lol. What am i looking for?
Any advice?

NEW MOD: the original rosie included in NRG rom but without text in navbar, you change to 5x5 or 5x4 and disble paginated scroll through tweaks menu in settings. (tested only in NRG rom, but maybe work in oher roms with roman's tweaks, like rcmix..

it's not that simple, it ' all about editing xml files, and it's not only that....

I have the latest NRG rom and it works perfect. Try to wipe cache and dalvik.

I had a bad download my first try. Re-downloaded and it works great! Any way to get rid of the paginated scrolling?

Tried it on Rcmix...messed up with home page (phone and app drawer icons) and it's not enough transparent, too dark

the plan right now is to edit the current one with a semi transparent one
can use do a 5x5 on this new transparent

the zip isnt really meant for sensation as it contains framework, htc resources and rosie from evo 3d but you can download the skin apk which you can just install and select through the personalize menu

. . contains: this replaces semcphone with cyanogenmod dialler. **ACHOTJAN ALREADY FIXED USSD ERROR. THIS DIALLER IS JUST OPTIONAL IF YOU PREFER CM7 DIALLER MORE THAN XPERIA DIALLER. this is not a hotfix
3. update
contains: market 3.4.4 and latest trackid (faster song search, new ui ics style)
these are already included by achotjan in his ROM/hotfix2
4. THEME UPDATE
contains: modified black theme (now menu background is based on black wallpaper instead of solid black, timescape has new background in landscape mode (no more solid black background), notification bar toggles have black background instead of grey, cyanbread & androidian themes included, default black and dark blue wallpaper added in sony ericcsson wallpaper picker. . ***PLEASE NOTE THAT I HAVE MADE NO EXTRA THEMING. I HAVE KEPT EVERYTHING AS CLOSE TO STOCK AS POSSIBLE. THIS WILL MAKE LOOKS MORE CLOSER TO STOCK. NO THIRD PARTY IMAGES ARE USED.
the menu back ground is somewhat like this . (only the background, the status bar shown in that pic is from some other rom not this theme)

This is settings.apk from fxp047. works flawlessly. but no more option for facebook inseide xperia, xloud and bravia. THIS GIVES CYANOGENMOD POWER TOGGLE WIDGET ON HOME SCREEN. ALL TOGGLES WORK.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS WILL OVERWRITE STOCK XPERIA SETTINGS APP. USE THIS ONLY IF YOU WANT CM7 POWER TOGGLE WIDGET AND DON'T WANT FBIX, XLOUD, BRAVIA SETTINGS
7. ics transitions
please see post #12 on this thread. "skorvy" has made ics transitions for us.
8. transparent widgets
please see post #31 . once again good old "scorvy" gives us something nice. this time it is transparent homescreen widgets.

Download and install like any other apk. This is just like achotjan's black theme with minor changes.
10. silk browser and new photowidget

can you upload framework-res, systemui, semcgenericuxpres etc etc of 1.6? or at least link me to any available 1.6 rom/sys dump?
(i don't have any 1.6 files. lol. I'm using x10 only with gb. never used 2.1 even ever. )

Hello!
Here is files that you need to flash with xrecovery for ICS transitions.
Just put on sdcard reboot phone and enter it xrecovery and flash.
I use it for few days and work without any fc or bug.
And for every case i make flashable zip with orginal files if anything go wrong.

well everyone today i came with a beautiful theming mod for HTC sense 4/4.1.
i know that you all want to have sense5 on our lovable DS. but unfortunately we cant.
so today i come with a tweak that can transform your sense 4/4.1 rom to sense 5 look.This will work on both Full and light.

if you dont like it then flash it again. i included sense 4.1 themes too.just run it again and select sense 4 stuff's from aroma.

I would, but unfortunately, I like 4.1 too much, that I reverted immediately, I just wanted to check how it would look on my Desire S.

The lock icon on the lock screen seems too big and looks quite ugly... Just my opinion, maybe u should make it smaller....

Lockscreen mod is not included in the OP! Its a separate mod and really buggy....I jus wanted to show it changes all the icons to sense 5!
