Hi I'm new to editing the registry values on my phone. I recenlty unlocked the extra camera modes on my TP2 and noticed that when I turn on the camera from the Sense UI Start menu I boot into Sports shooting mode ( instead of the normal photo mode. Earlier in the month I did the same tweek but did not have this problem.

the camera app will retain your last setting... so if you closed the camera app with it set to the sport setting it will be selected when you start it up again.

Hi,
As most of you should know, this version starts up the camera in landscape mode. It's actually a good feature but I'm having problem with this features.
Changing the screen mode is quite slow (portrait to lanscape and vice versa) if we have several today plugins enabled (especially PocketBreeze). On starting the camera, the screen is changed to landscape. The camera shows what it should but it does not responds to any keypress. This is because the today plugins are taking turns to refresh themselves (even though they a hidden in the background).
So, is there a way to disable this feature? I already checked the in registry and found none.
Thanks.
Strange, my camera of same version starts up in Potrait mode automatically...
After install move new camera.exe to /windows catalog and replece old one.
I go the issue that my camera app (stock camera app) is only half the size in portrait mode (see the photo in attachments).
I got the same issue with clash of clans in widescreen mode.
My rom: [D6603][5.0.2] 23.1.A.1.28 Update 1.3 [Moonbreakers Edition]
I applied DRM restoration patch too.
My xposed modules:

Haven't messed with the dpi have you? I haven't changed it on this phone but some other phones I have like the note serious if the dpi is changed a lot of the stock apps don't scale properly.
No I didn't, I noticed when move the device to half wide screen, hafl portrait I get a fine portrait mode in camera.
When I change the orientation to often the app crashes
Is there a chance to fix this without factory reset?
I noticed when I disable auto orientation switch everything is fine with the camera app (orientation is switched automatic still).
@Thaodan did you manage to fix this problem?
Maybe it's some rotation app you've installed
This is what happens to me when I use adaptive rotation lock app.
It"s a app from. Nextbit port by ninnix96..i found that it has manual camera mode.
Working:
In the Cross hair mode you can set your own focus point.
Other wise the Iso, Ev and White balance is working good.
Pinch to Zoom is working.
Bug: Manual Focus is no different then Auto mode.
the default resolution on back camera was set to 0 Mpixel. It was easy to just chose 13 Mpixel to get it right.
When restarting the app all settings is lost. No memmorh from last time used.
Thanks to xda member tissot for knowing us what is working and what is not.

Hello everyone,
Is burst mode available on the XZP? I cannot seem to find it, even though "Timeshift Burst", which I believe was Sony's burst mode in older devices, seems to be installed according to the Play Store.
it's been replaced by Predictive Capture which you can enable in camera settings and which will trigger automatically when the phone detects movement while you're focusing camera and preparing for taking a pic.

I noticed that feature kick in a couple times, however it is nowhere as convenient as a manually operated function in most scenarios. Is there any way I can manually take a burst of pictures or am I out of luck?
Hello
I have bought a new OP7 Pro and I updated immediately to Android 10 beta 2.. no my smartest move apparently.
When I'm trying to focus in the dark with the main camera app just by tapping the flash does not turn on at all.. and if I try to take the picture the flash turns on and stays on like a torch not by flashing for a fraction of the second like a normal camera on any smartphone.
First I thought it is a hardware based problem and I should return the phone / I still have 10 days to do so.
Then I've installed a different camera app called LG camera and surprise! Tap to focus in dark environment turns on the flash and the camera manages to focus also when I tap to take the picture the LED only turns on to .1 seconds and works normal.
Tried a version on Gcam and it doesn't work either..
I tried the following:
- cleared data and forced stop the main camera app
- factory reset
Thank you in advance for any ideas.
