I accidentally deleted all the files in windows lock screen folder and now the only lock screen I get is the old windows lock screen. Would anyone happen to have the original files that belong in the lockscreen folder?
Thanks a bunch.

Hi,
I have a simple question. How can I create a shortcut inside the Settings->Personal, Settings->System, and Settings->Connections ?
I tried creating an LNK file inside the \Windows\Start Menu\Settings but it doesn'tt show up. I suspect it has something to do with the contents of the LNK. thank you!
Need help!
I did some research and found this...

In my infinite wisdom, Deleted a file from the windows folder which I believe I need. Its the welcomehead EXE... At first thought it was a program I installed to replace the welcomehead.96.png but it seems like this is the executable that runs when the system boots up considering my phone no longer shows the 3rd splash screen.
Can someone PLEAAAAASE post this file so I dont have to reflash, couldnt find any way to locate the file anywhere.
Thanks.
I do not see a welcomehead.exe in /windows/ however, I do have a welcome.exe
Hmmm... maybe I was right when I thought it was the image replacer... since the phone seems to work fine, I assume thats what it was... maybe I somehow turned off the windows splash screen on startup, I didnt realize that was possible though....
Edit: Is there a way to get the windows splash to show back up?
Hi,
I accidentally put actual file instead of lnk into StartUp folder on WM 6.1. Now I can not delete the file becouse it's already launched and it's not even showing in list of running programs. How do I get rid of it in StartUp folder?
Thanks,
G
it might be running in the background. try using a task manager kinda program to see running processes (e.g. wktask) and you should be able to kill it and then delete it
or rename it from somethingsomething.exe to somethingsomething.exe.bak
and softreset
Or you can usually cut the link or file in startup and then paste it somewhere else. Reset, then you can delete it.
not if it's not a shortcut but he places the exe file itself in startup in this case it will be locked and cant be cut
Can you rename the file to something not ".exe" and then reset the phone? Would it work? I've read somewhere around here someone suggesting that. After soft reset, in theory, you should be able to delete the file.
Heya!

Today I installed android onto my HTC HD2 and immediately lost screen rotation. I now boot directly to android, but the screen refuses to rotate. I did some reading and then I downloaded a file bma150_usr which was said to correct this problem then attempted to overwrite that existing file on my HTC HD2 as per the instructions that were located with the download. However, I find that I can only navigate to the files, but am unallowed to delete or overwrite. The phone has Superuser app on it as part of the Android download. Anyone who can help me understand how to gain access please email me at rdriffle at hotmail dot com
