hidelogo.cab

I ran hidelogo.cab on my Treo 750 (WM6) but Istill cannot get that annoying AT&T logo to go away.
Any ideas?

i gues it was that thing with the right softkey, right? i also allways forgot this to do.

this worked for me
I also have a treo 750 running wm6, when I installed the hidelogo it didn't go way right then. I had to open today settings uncheck the box then check it again. go back to the today screen and it should be gone. thats what worked for me.

once you run the cab make sure you hit menu then check hide lookup field... then soft reset your phone. should work perfect after that.

The only part I was not able to figure out was how to keep the date on top. When hidelogo took care of the logo, it hid the date as well.
I tried the registry edit, and still could not get the logo to go without the date disappearing as well.

Possibility to disable GPRS complete?

Hey, I gota annoying GPRS problem!
I changed the setting of "Application with automatically Internet-access" and "Application with automatically ptivate Network-access" in "Connections"-Menu to "corporate-Network" (I don't know how these menus are called in english version of windows mobile) but if I start e.g. youtube.com the TCPMPlayer launches and GPRS (O2-Internet) connects..
I never wanted to use the slow and ecpensive O2-GPRS and I will never start it myself.
How can I do a full disable of o2 Internet-Connections?
But I can't install WM6 after Hardreset without "branding" because TomTom is placed in extended rom.

What I did on mine was to edit the settings so that all the login name had a little "x" at the end. This way I can always use it if I really needed it. The GPRS never connects.

Ok... Downloaded and flashed it, everything went smooth. Played around and found two things.
1) The calculator font is too dark, you almost can't see the numbers you're typing and when you press "." and other buttons some kind of mask flashes.
2) The camera button don't work, give-me invalid link and there is no camera to associate it to in "buttons"
Other than that all seams good.

Another thing... there is a error on the camera app when you try to use picture themes. I guess you deleted all the themes to save space but you need to leave at least one so we won't get this error.
This one is just a cosmetic error: on the HTC today, when you change the tab settings and let's say you remove the audio manager and put the profile selector the icon stays the same.
That's it for today... I need some sleep now. =)

Having some problems, One is that Live messenger will not open up, I had to install an older one from my desktop. Word recognition is not working. It responds very slowly. I changed the page pool to 8mb, and installed Battery status.
The battery is very good in this rom. I have been running this for 5 hours now and it is at 87%. That is running push mail, setting everything up, Using Wi-Fi on and off, using SMS, Talking on the phone for about 20 min.
Overall, it is a Great Rom

noonski has a cab for esmertec. I posted his file in the atachment. I figure everyone is going to want it.
BTW I just installed the cab and am posting from opera mini.
NOTE TO ANDY: no internet connection through activesync. is this my problem, or can anyone confirm that it actualy doesnt work.? (it might just be my problem i dunno)

internet is workin through USB normaly , great rom lags a lil sometimes still need more time for testing other wise its great.
one thing -- anyone knows why clock changes to windhoek back when it change it to my country time, or how to uninstall some programes out of this roms to install versions i have or i need.

I couldnt get any mms pics to show up, just a black screen with no message details or attachments, all blank? cant check sent mms messages either, again doesn't show picture or attachments just size and anyone else run into this?

hey, whats going on... why isnt this ROM working for me? im new to the flash game and I want WM6 on my wizard. I did the walk through tutorial to the T but now I want to install WM6, everytime I try to install this program with the
"XP rom update" , it shows the installation screen and goes through the process as usual, but at the end of it, I still have WM 5... whats going on? what am I doing wrong?

Yahoo Messenger cab from HTC HD2

Hi, has anyone been able to extract yahoo messenger cab from HTC HD2 phone and able to install it on TP2?
I know there are multiple clients available. I would like a standalone dedicated app from Yahoo.

here is the 6.5 french Rom I created it hasnt been tested so you might face errors and make sure that you have HardSPL http://www.4shared.com/file/D0B1oFyS/65_RELEASE_PANT100.html Hope this helps

I have a sim card from NRJ Mobile operator wich was not recognized by my Treo original 6.1 (reboot all the time). With your rom my NRJ sim cards still works now, just have to config data info for mail and web testing. Its my TREO PRO's revival...

your welcome can you scroll in the contacts menu and see if the contacts become blurry. this an issue in most 21xxx builds

I ave no probleme with contact, no blur even in scroll. Its the classic windows list, with small picture on right.
Windows live don't connect, even in wifi. I have reinstall from Market, enter login and password, click next, waiting and return to home. I have put Explorer as default browser, no change... will test later another account. Messenger and hotmail email account don't work, even in home. MSN Meteo and Myphone works with the same account.
Installing other appli (Market, France 24 : TV online, Bluetooth Headphone) it works.
I have not see another problem, except capslock on physical keyboard (2 click on caps to make lock normally don't work. Its not a problem, there is screen keayboard. All another key of my AZERTY keyboard works fine.
What is Perfman application for ? Can this ap help you with log ?
In the same time I test your ROM, I discover WP 6.5... You have done very good job, thanks again. If you have another test or question i will help you.

Calculator don't work : error message in french, I "translate" :
"Mobilecalculator not signed with confiace certificat or one composant is missing. Try reinstall or restore"
Camera don't work : error message in french, I "translate" :
"can't initialise camera. failure device configuration"
Gmail email and pop account can be create, another hotmail account doesn't works.

thanks for the report in the next build i will cook windows live its a problem in every 6.5 Rom i forgot to add it but it should work when you download it from Marketplace maybe I didn't include a important package that uses Windows live. I also forgot to add the package that fixes the capslock issue. I never used Perfman but I think it is performance monitoring I'm not sure if i am correct. I am going to start building a new version of this Rom that fixes the Issues

I have seen in other post during my search that Live need to be reinstall from market. I do it, uninstal from market, reinstall and dont work.
After enter login and click next, windows "color ball" turning 1 sec and the phone return to home page.

Update: i installed the English version of this Rom and it looks like its a bad build because most of the apps are not working like reboot and home screen cutomizer

Perhaps make a rom without Wlive, people in france will install themselve.

didn't work the kitchen kept crashing if i built it. Now i will try to cook build 28230 in french

I removed windows live and other packages like voip sync with bluetooth watch and etc... because 28230 build is too big for Treo Pro so I had to get rid of some useless things. Windows live didnt work even if i add the package you would still have to go to marketplace and install it so i just got rid of it. Also one other problem is that there is some English still in the build.

Just to let you Know I haven't given up making a ROM for French language the hard part is that I am not able to find any working 6.5 Builds for Treo Pro in French I can Make a French 21054 6.1 Build for you while I try to find a way to build a working 6.5 Sorry again for the delay i feel so bad that im not able to make a ROM for you in French

Lost radio
I used your Build_28230 Rom from couple of day and everything was fine.
Sudenly, today, I've lost radio. Don't know why... I reinsatll rom and nothing change.
I have to reinstall a english rom (build 21857.5.0.66) to have radio. I tryed to reinstall your 6.5_Build_28230_French_Alpha rom after but no radio where find...
If you have a French 21054 6.1 Rom wich working i will be happy to get it.

hmm thats weird here is build 6.1 21054 I think it will be more stable then the other Roms i have built an I like this Rom a little bit more then the Stock Rom Download Here
