Nice...
Those are pretty slick, where did they come from? Is there a pack or post where I can download them?
If there was a pack or post I wouldn't have had to make this thread haha. They're from the Nexus One forums.

haha, well an Icon pack doesnt translate to a flashable update, hence the question(ie for use with bettercut etc)...as for asking if there were a post...well they had to come from somewhere.
Sorry I read yours wrong, I'm working on getting the icon pack from him now.

flipz pre kitchen but these icons all need to bed put in there respectable aps to even be able to be flashed. some of the icons here are apks that get updated every so often so if you make a flashable zip of them (which is possible) then if an update is ever available and u chose to do that update then you will lose these icons. i.e. dolphin hd (which is new and bound to have alot of updates to eliminate new found small bugs), talk (gtalk icon), facebook (not updates often but when updated its is worth doing), and maps (which gets updated every couple of months). I dont mind putting them together but just know that it will not last long
I would make an update.zip and put the icons in the their correct apks if you could actually get me the icons.
any news?

These are some really nice icons, the op said they were trying to get an icon pack. They apparently came from the Nexus forum...
Got the zip from the nexus forums! Can somebody put them in a flash zip and sign it?

I think most people are using Fresh 2.1.1 now with the newest leak. I'd make one for both if I knew how to :/

Download and install DeviceLock here DeviceLock Download
And download and install CicleBT here CicleBT Download
.....and Heres the one with WIFI.
HTCHomeSprintWiFi.zip
Install the DeviceLock from above. Wifi on/off is included in the .zip Put the exe here \Program Files\AEWiFi\AEWiFiTrigger.exe
Hope that works out, any problems with it lemme know.

I dont have anywhere to upload these for download so if people actually want these (which I'm not sure if anyone will) ... Please help me out and I can send the file for you to upload somewhere and then I can post install instructions. Also if anyone can tell me where the XML file is so I can get rid of those grey lines on my screen I would appreciate that too...

There ya go.
Just wondering, is this the Sprint Home plugin? I ask because my plugin has camera album, videos, camera, music and phone.
Do you have any for those?
Thanks.
This is the HTC Home sprint Plugin... I changed some of the icons to different apps. Moved phone and camera to left, etc. etc.. Will be posting more soon, I dont have a huge amount of time to work on them though.
Info moved to first post.
This is a Morph file for CM 5.0.6.
The icon is a guy being sucked up into a UFO when a file is being downloaded or uploaded.
Downloads = Green beam
Uploads = Red beam

Not currently, I have to reinstall the SDK on my comp and I have been too lazy to do it. I will try to get some up...
Really neat and original. Will try these out in a bit.
You have a bunch of additional files in the morph. Aren't only the 12 .pngs needed?
Make sure you add it to the Morphs thread.
edit: trying it down, downloading earth-live wallpaper (its big) to see it

Think he's referring to the layout and xml folders (that have files in them) that probably don't need to be included.

Ahh... thanks for pointing that out. I will try to figure out what is necessary (still learning) and take out what I don't need. Thanks again.
One more thing, in both upload/download cases the stick person is seen moving up to the ship.
I renamed the 6 download images so that the guy moves downward for downloads and upward for uploads. (attached for convenience)

Great idea! I have made the changes in the morph file and re-uploaded. Thanks!
So, I was a little bored (too much time on my hands) and I hate the color scheme of twitter. Too baby-bluish and I've got a son on the way (just a couple months out), so I'm getting a little baby blued out. That said, I decided to waste some time inverting all of the .png's in the apk. Not the greatest of "mods", but I thought that if I found it amusing, somebody else might as well.
Oh, and I changed the Launcher icon to one from Dinik's HD2 collection here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=591248&highlight=dinik
Notes:
1) I, nor XDA, am not responsible if this trashes your device.
2) The install bat places the file in /system/app, rather than /data/app. My main reason for doing this is strictly a personal preference, as I have been using Ninjamorph (thanks Stericson!) to customize all of my apps and it doesn't yet read from /data/app yet. . . so I've been placing everything into /system. lol
Instructions:
1) Extract the contents of the zip file (Winrar, Winzip, 7Zip, WinAce. . . does WinAce even exist anymore?)
2) Run Twitverted Install.bat
2a)The install bat file will automatically delete the twitter app, if you already had it installed, prior to installing this one.
3) If you don't like it, just run the removal bat and then reinstall Twitter via the market.
Nice, I'm not a big user of twitter but this looks pretty sweet, good job

... the one that shows after an app has been installed from the market succesfully. I believe stock shows it as a down arrow on top of a couple of lines. Some ROMs show the Android Market symbol. Myn's latest twoPOINTtwo has this big, plain oversized checkmark and I'm trying to replace it... but I cannot find out which one this is for the life of me...
Thanks for your help.

I don't remember the exact name of it, but its in the Vending.apk not the framework. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Ahh.... I see. Thanks for that - I should be able to find it now. I've been sifting through the framework and resources APKs forever!

, that is in framework-res.apk
Not the actual downloading arrow (or series of them) but the icon that remains there after the download has been completed and the app is installed.
I just found it, thanks to the above help. It's called "stat_sys_install_complete.png" and was located in "system\app\Vending\res\drawable-hdpi". I would never have looked there.
Related question - in cases like this, is there an easy way to just replace this single icon? Like maybe with root explorer or does it require a full out replacement in the APK package and complete reflash? I really don't feel like reflashing the entire ROM just for a few changes like this and would rather just make a mental note to repackage future ROMs.
Ninjamorph should do it
With a little work and permission from jabbawalkee I have ported parts of the MattedBlues theme into this ROM. The original MattedBlues can be found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=768848
I would also like to add a thanks and credit to nitsuj17 for some of the images and the dialer. At the time of my original post, I was unaware that some of the pieces I was using were his.
This is in beta as I have not yet gotten everything in it that I want, but it's a good start and usable. As usual take a nandroid backup before you flash anything. I am not responsible for anything you do to your phone while flashing any of this content. That being said, I have had no problems with any of it. It uses all of the dependencies so all of the stock apps should work and anything that has been removed can be added from the Pick-n-Pack ROM.
Here are a few screen shots. They are low res, so the dock icons look especially fuzzy.

This looks like a theme as opposed to the rom, looks good though and Thanks for posting it.

I probably should have explained a little more. I only decided to deem it a ROM because I left the apk's in tact. Since it installs apk's and not just the drawables and xml's I couldn't call it a theme. I will probably start a pull on all of that stuff so I can put it out as a theme also, but I have several others I'm working on right now so this was the easier for me. Kinda lazy I know, but if the permissions come in I want to be able to get them put out for the variety for now.
--EDIT
OK, I took the time, not as long as I thought btw, to go ahead and rip out the files that need to be taken out of the ROM to make a theme only version. I will post it in the themes and apps section as soon as it finishes uploading.

Sorry, about that. I thought that I had the original downloaded. I will correct the OP to include you. I never meant to take without asking.
