Flight Mode on Quicklink Button? - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

Hey,
who knows how to create a quicklink to instantly activate Flight Mode (without using CommManager)?
I think of something similar to the rundll32.exe-parameters in Windows XP. For example, to set the computer into Hibernation mode, you can create a desktop link to the command line "rundll32 powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState".
Is this or another easy way possible for the HD2? Is there any freeware that can do it?
What I need is the possibility to activate Flight Mode by just one single click.
Thanks for your ideas!

May be you can try this file!
(just unzip and then copy the AIRPLANE.EXE into your HD2)
Don't forget to paste a link in the :
Windows/start menu/programs
and then you can make a quicklink in today screen
Tell me if it work...

tomtom shortcut

I have just managed to get tomtom working Ok without copying/installing all the cab files....problem is the program is on the storage card in a folder called ttnav5.21 and every time I want to run the program I have to go there and click on the exe file. should it not be somewhere else like on the start menu....yes I am a newbie to this so its probably quite straightforward.
the program called total commander is easy to make shortcuts with
if you put the shortcuts in
\windows\start menu\
they end up in your start menu
is this not a pc program?
sorted....just needed a push in the right direction.
thanks
Can't you just sync your device and then browsre the memory card/move the .exe to stat menu?
yep thats more or less what i have done ie browsed the card using PC and then create shortcut and move it to windows / start menu folder. as I said I am new to ppc having just moved from symbian phones.

Yes and you didn't even manage to do THAT right since you didnt include the IPHONE mod pack thats needed.
To anyone that actually wants to TRY this, the article I posted has links to all the software as well as two methods you can use to accomplish it including one method that doesn't required that you use PIRATED software to accomplish it.

I dont think he's realized he totally ripped someone's work off... =P
cujo316 needs to be banned or at least banned from posting for a couple of months so he can read up, learn some things, and quit being an idiotic thief.
I'm being serious though, he honestly hasn't realized it.
I was being sarcastic. It's pretty simple. If you're on this forum, you aren't here by accident. And you're other places as well. I'm suprised someone else hasn't tried to take credit for the iMDA.
If you're going to steal the work, at least get the topic spelling correct. Jeez.
I got this running the hard way...works nice.
I ran into one issue. my mail works, but I can no longer tell which account I am in. it used to put the mailbox name in the title menu, and now it show "inbox" no matter what account I am in.
does anyone know how to fix that?
Maybe it's a nice idea to implement all these steps into a pre-cooked ROM? Anybody who can do this with a clean WM6-rom for example?

wow. thats a lot of work. my rom is pretty slow coz it has a memory leak and so i thought I would try this on before i reflashed the phone to a different rom. it takes me on average, 25 to 40 seconds to access my windows folder. setting up the applications was a pain. is there any way someone could make a cab file or an installer of this? it would make everyones life a loooot easier. excellent mod though. who needs an iPhone? the wizard rocks!!!

Command to rotate landscape when GPS icon is pressed?

Is there any command I can add to my iGO Amigo shortcut to make my device turn landscape before launching iGO?
Of corse there's always mortscript, but I'm clueless as to how to use that..
thanks!
btw the name of the exe I'm using is called amigo_pna.exe
You may be hesitant to use mortscript, but someone has actually already written a script to do this for Tomtom. Check it out at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1096841&postcount=4 and you might be able to modify it to your needs.
EDIT
Just realised that download is no longer available. Try http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=438929 instead.
thanks I'll try editing this. If I've installed mortscript already then does my device just recognize the .mscr file type? Or how do I actually make the file work?
Yes, .mscr should be associated with mortscript and just run like any program.
You can open it in any text editor on your pc to change it.

Define your own press-and-hold endkey

Hi,
Made this for myself. Maybe others find it useful too.
It is a little mortscript script that launches the program you want by pressing and holding the endkey. Install the cab and edit "endkey.mscr" (which you will find in the windows directory) to define the program you want to run.
I use the script to launch (the great) iPhoneToday app as an alternative for the "action screen". To do so, I wrote the following line in "endkey.mscr":
Code:
Run("\Program Files\iPhoneToday\iPhoneToday.exe")
Of course you can enter any mortscrip code you want in the script...
Happy endkey-ing
----
BTW, I've added a seperate "endkey.mscr" file, in case you find this more comfortable. You can edit this file on your computer and copy it seperately to the windows dir on your device. (after you have installed the cab)
ThX!!
I searched for this a while and found nothing, work's nice ^^
