Yes and you didn't even manage to do THAT right since you didnt include the IPHONE mod pack thats needed.
To anyone that actually wants to TRY this, the article I posted has links to all the software as well as two methods you can use to accomplish it including one method that doesn't required that you use PIRATED software to accomplish it.

cujo316 needs to be banned or at least banned from posting for a couple of months so he can read up, learn some things, and quit being an idiotic thief.
I'm being serious though, he honestly hasn't realized it.
I was being sarcastic. It's pretty simple. If you're on this forum, you aren't here by accident. And you're other places as well. I'm suprised someone else hasn't tried to take credit for the iMDA.
If you're going to steal the work, at least get the topic spelling correct. Jeez.
I got this running the hard way...works nice.
I ran into one issue. my mail works, but I can no longer tell which account I am in. it used to put the mailbox name in the title menu, and now it show "inbox" no matter what account I am in.
does anyone know how to fix that?
Maybe it's a nice idea to implement all these steps into a pre-cooked ROM? Anybody who can do this with a clean WM6-rom for example?

wow. thats a lot of work. my rom is pretty slow coz it has a memory leak and so i thought I would try this on before i reflashed the phone to a different rom. it takes me on average, 25 to 40 seconds to access my windows folder. setting up the applications was a pain. is there any way someone could make a cab file or an installer of this? it would make everyones life a loooot easier. excellent mod though. who needs an iPhone? the wizard rocks!!!

Hi,
I use Omapclock+MemMaid 1.6 for overclock (240Mhz) my Jamin,but
after StandBy the frequency return on standard value(180Mhz)!!
You can Help me??
Tank You
Hamleto
When you added the file to the "notification queue" did you put "the device woke up" in the "event" box? Though personally I would just use smartskey http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=41060&highlight=smartskey and set the speed in the ini file.
make sure your not running omapclock.exe of memory card, copy to windows and point all shortcuts to this.
Solved it for me.
I put Omapclock.exe in /windows and omaplock.lnk (frequency240Mhz) in /windows/startup but after standby the frequency return to 180Mhz and the link in notification queue there's not!!!
I follow this procedure:
1.) Copy the program to anywhere you like
(e.g. Program Files\OmapClock.exe) In Pocket PC
2.) Copy the file and paste shortcut to anywhere you like
(e.g. Windows\start menu\OmapClock) In Pocket PC (Must use shortcut)
3.) Connect your computer with ActiveSync, copy the shorcut file that store in Pocket PC to your computer.
4.) Use the Window XP software, "Notepad" to open the shortcut file >
Change the content to "\Program Files\OmapClock\OmapClock.exe" -clock 216 (Attention :-clock 216 means the speed of overclock is 216. Suggust you use 264 or below.)
5.) After make change the shortcut file, copy this file from computer to replace that shortcut file in the PDA.
6.) Open MemMaid program, select "Notification Queue"
(Second Icon that from left to right)
7.) click "Add" and select Program choose the shortcut file > select Event and choose "The device woke up" and click "Add"
8.) Select "Start Up Program" (Forth Icon that from left to right)
9.) click "Add", find the shortcut file.
10.) Close MemMaid 1.5 program and soft reset.
The problem is that the link in notification queue after standby are delete!
Help!!
Tanks
How 'bout if you go to the \Windows\startup folder, how many omapclock shortcut entries are there? seems to me you would be creating 2 if you first put in a shortcut manually and afterwards put another one in with memmaid, after you edit the shortcut and place it in the startup folder you should use memmaid only to set it to run "When the device woke up", as far as I remember you don't need to add another startup shortcut. I could be wrong. Try it out and post back, you seem to be doing everything correctly except for that, so let's hope it is only that and that you'll get it to work. Good luck!

I have only one shortcut in MemMaid StartPrograms!
I have also try to locate shortcut in /windows,but the problem is the same:
AFTER SOFT RESET OMAPCLOCK'S NOTIFICATION QUEUE ARE DELETE IN MEMMAID and clock return to standard value
Well I've got two suggestions. 1- Delete all shortcuts, soft-reset your device, and repeat the process. Only this time place the shortcut in the \Windows\startup folder manually and only use memmaid to set it to "when de device woke up", soft-reset and verify. 2- download smartkey from http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=41060&highlight=smartskey place smartskey.exe and smartskey.ini in the same folder as you put omapclock.exe, before you do that though, you need to open up smartskey.ini with notepad and edit it. I'm not 100% sure smartskey is compatible with the prophet, but I don't see why not, read thru the thread a bit to make sure in any case, here is the part you need to edit
; set OMAPCLOCK to the clock if you want to use omapclock and automatically
; set the clock speed after wakeup, you should put OmapClock.exe in the same
; directory of smartskey.exe
; REMEMBER TO REMOVE ';' BEFORE THE LINE TO ENABLE IT
OMAPCLOCK=264 <------ Put your speed here and delete the semicolon ( ; ) hamleto, and of course delete this little line
;REMOVEDUPSDDAEMON=0
;STARTMENUMETHOD=0
;DUP=0
;DDOWN=0
;DRIGHT=0
;DLEFT=0
...........
Well again good luck, I'm at my wits end, but let me know if it worked out for you. Later!
How to check the o/c speed
How to check the speed after o/c? I check on setting the speed still same.
thanks

I am looking for some help with "shortcuts" or ".lnk" files
I am using a HTC Tilt 8925 with WM6, but I think this may be a more universal issue.
I went into Windows > StartMenu and added several new folders, and then moved the .lnks formed from program installations into those folders.
For instance, folder "Refererence" now hold Dictionary, Lexipedia, Thesaurus, etc.
All was OK for a while, but then I started to get error messages about 2 application .lnks that I had moved into a subfolder. The funny thing is, the links actually work! It's just that randomly, I get a WM6 message that there is a problem with " Programs > XXX > AAA "
Does anyone know how to make a "new" link, to replace these old links? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program and then moving those 2 .lnks, again, to the subfolder where I want it to be, but it happened again!
Thanks for any and all ideas!
PS: I have SK Tools installed; I thought there was a shortcut tool, but I cannot find it
Go into Program Files then whatever application you want the shorcut for. Copy the exe file then navigate to wherever you want the shortcut and paste shortcut. Rename the shorcut to whatever you want and the link is done!
Having said that if your shortcuts work sometimes but not others I cant see how it is a problem with the actual shortcut. You may need help here from someone more experienced than me.

1. These are the categories the package will be placed in. For example, when you open up Ervius BuildOS, the packages will be sorted by categories
2. For every .exe (application) that is in the package, it will ask you to create a link to. So, for example, if I was changing the HTC Album .cab into a Package, it will automatically place Album.exe (the actually program) in the Windows directory. However, you can create a link to this program by clicking the Default circle, then enter the directory (i.e. Start Menu\Programs\Multimedia if I wanted to put it in the Multimedia folder in my Start Menu), then enter the name (for example, Album.lnk), then click Apply, then click Done
Hope this helps

if it's in a cab format than copy the cab to your device and install the cab from your device.
Send it over to your device from your commputer either throubh activesinc (when connected) or WIFI for those who have it, or Bluetooth.
Over Activesinc - Just connect device to computer (Assuming activesinc already installed and set up - if not then do so) then go to my computer, find mobile device and explore it as you would any drive. Then you can just find where you want to place the cab for installation on your device - I create a folder called install - and copy and paste it to the folder- once the cab is on your device - just tap on it to start installing it.
I have noticed that through WIFI, I can just go to view the shared folder on my desktop with my device over the network, click on the cab and it installs on the device even though the cab is not on the device but only on the desktop.
Thank you for the information. I cannot find cab. What does cab mean? This is my first all microsoft phone with vista laptop. I just don't understand the terms.
If I extract a cab file, what have I just done? Where is it at at that point? I know that eventually I want it on my phone. What is the next step toward delivery on the phone? When I check the windows mobile device center there is nothing there to import? to phone. Is there a missing step somewhere between the cabinet file extact and the windows mobile device center? I'm trying to think this through.
Don't extract it, just copy. You are "exporting" not importing.
Go here for how to install a cab
Exactly = Don't do anything with the cab except for transfer it to your device. On your desktop a cab looks like a zip file or a rar file. You might be tempted to unpack it but don't - All you will see is a bunch of stuff that doesn't make sense- Just send it to your device and then tap on it or click it to start installation. Most apps are in cab form; however, some are in exe form and must be installed to your device via your computer through activesinc. Just check the extension - it will either be .cab or .exe
I think I might have sent it to my phone, there were 6 files and when I attempted to send to my phone it said send to phone documents. Where is the phones documents at? I am looking in programs and settings on my phone and I don't see the documents. How can I know where I or if I sent it? Man, I can't believe I've worked all day on this.
stop thread please. I give up. Thank you all who really tried to help me.
Ronald Quint -Documents is in the first tier of folders - Just open file explorer and if you need to click the up soft key (bottom left of screen) then scroll until you see documents - There is also storage card documents if you search through your storage card. I created a special folder just for sending files over, and then move them around afterwards. I created a folder called "install" and send my cabs there. Then I just have to navigate (using file explorer) to the install folder and there is everything I just sent over - Music I send to my music folder however, and movies to my movies folder - to save time. It sounds like you unpacked the cab and sent the files to your device. What you can do is
1. using your computer - open the cab to see what is inside
2. using your device - use search to find each individual file which was sent to your device. (you will find them all in the same place)
then start deleting them
(you could just forget it and leave them be (it shouldn't cause any harm) and just resend the cab to your device (pay attention to where you are sending it. - use file explorer to navigate to where you sent the cab and then click it to install.. Once installed - you can delete the cab from your device.
Hi all.
I want to make icons in the program folder for applications that aren't installed on the device, but run off of a memory card. For instance, I run putty from the memory card, as it is a standalone .exe file. It would be easier to go to programs and launch it from there, rather than go to a file explorer, direct it to the memory card, and then click on putty.exe. Just want to save myself some time really. I know it can be done because BackupPIM does it.
Thanks for any advice.
PS I tried searching first, but it was a fairly specific thing and so I couldn't see any results. If you find any, shame me for being a noob, and point me in the right direction.
Thanks!
you go to the exe file that you wan to place in the program menu... then copy it.... then go the program folder and paste it as short cut... I dont know whether this will helps you
Shortcuts are text files with a *.lnk extension that you can place in \Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder. RESCO Explorer can do this for you (Send to Start Menu as Shortcut) or you can do it manually as explained in the WIKI. Hope this helps.

Make sure if you do it by hand you do it plain text
Here is a tutorial.
Thanks guys that worked absolutely perfectly, just copying the file and pasting the shortcut. It's funny to think that you know so much about Windows Mobile, and then realise you don't know something so simple as this!
This will make a huge difference in my day to day life. It may even mean that my partner can now use TomTom (any more than clicking three buttons and she is annoyed, lol). This question and answer section was a great idea by someone, don't know why it didn't happen sooner.
Cheers! Keep up the good work.
Thanks
You guys are REALLY helping us noobs out allot. This worked like a charm.
One day we might have the "smarts" to do the same for others
By the way, I suggest you create a cab (you can use WinCECabManager) to have the *.lnk installed in your device so that everytime you flash a rom or hard reset you can just intall it.. I create a cab for all programs running from the storage card. one cab and i have all the shortcuts i need in my programs menu
Dear nir36
Can you explain that how we can create a cab of shortcuts the programs stored in mem card
Best regards
Get Quickcab 2.0 (hacking forum). It's pretty self explanatory to use, but when you make the cab, make sure in the name field that you name it 'mycabname.cab'. If you don't put in the extension, it doesn't work (at least not for me, lol).
The easiest way to set up the cab is to put quickcab in your c: folder, then inside that folder copy your start menu from your device. Delete all the links in the start menu you don't need, then just send the individual folders with the links into the \windows\start menu\programs directory shown in quickcab. Select 'no uninstall' so the cab doesn't go into the installed programs list. Having the named folders on your pc makes things much faster. You don't have to create the directory for the cab, and everything's organized properly. Do not create an empty folder in the cab file-this will give you an error, and a stupid command window will open, leaving you very disappointed.
