Just got my rejection letter from skyfire. Wondering if anyone got in the beta and has any impressions?

they dinged me too -- with their rejection email, I felt like they wanted to go out of their way to tell me NO.

Whoa u make that sound real bad.

I got a response to sign an NDA and supply my IMEI of my phone for the alpha.. will probably do that in the next couple days and hopefully get my hands on the alpha build.

where do you signup for beta?

There was an update at the top of the beta signup page, that they were no longer accepting new testers. Shouldn't be a surprise if you got a rejection notice. lol

that's prob not going to work anyhow as they are requiring you to provide your IMEI and Skyfire relies on a server so it prob will be locked to authorized IMEIs.

I agree and didn't appreciate it. If they only wanted 30 testers then they didn't need to ask publicly for testers. I regret sending them my IMEI which they requested BEFORE they rejected me. I can wait for Flash 10.1 which will negate any need for Skyfire, imo.

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend releasing the apk if anyone has it. I was on blackberry when Skyfire was alpha testing for bb and the app was leaked. It took Skyfire about 2 hours to shut the whole alpha test down for a month while they revamped their procedures for security checking the testers. now the whole bb test is gone.
I'd say just be patient on this one.

Yeah, thats why i was asking for impressions and not the apk.

hahah I remember that one. I had it on my bb for 20 mins before it stopped working. BTW skyfire just announced that they stopped developing for bb for now until 6.0 is out.
For those who want flash that bad just install the Desire rom it has flash. It cool but it is very choppy for my taste.

True, just surprised it's such a large file... still downloading it....

No problem. This was one of my favorite games back when I had an iPhone. Good to see the higher-quality Android games finally rolling in slowly, but surely.

I must say, this game is definitely not some dirty port... It plays fluidly even at 500MHz.

Getjar seems to be overloaded. Can anyone who got it can mirror it?

Go to the mobile site from your browser or, preferably, ByteTornado. m.getjar.com I was able to download it from there without issue. For those experiencing problems, it should be in the market withing 24 hours.
Edit: looks like the mobile site is down. I thought I downloaded, but it got stuck at 98% Getjar sucks lol

Almost had it. accessing it from my computer, and had it downloading, but it died at 6mb. If i get it ill post the file up.

I've got ByteTornado on my phone working on trying to download it. Nice part is I can restart it so I don't have to try it from the start each time. Getting close to half way through xD

The first 15 levels in the full version is NOT the same as the 15 levels in the beta version.

so, back in the good ol days of windows mobile, someone created an app where you could actually view your picture mail albums right from your phone. This included any pics that are sent and recieved, without having to save them locally on your storage card. Im a person who gets a lot of pics, and would love an app to just pull from the picture mail website. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

try photoshop.com.... just a web address...but thats where i view my albums

I got the strangest email from Dropbox today claiming that the space I got from the HTC promo will be expiring on May 16. I thought the promo was for two years. Did anyone else get something similar from them?

I got the email today - got the 23GB with my HOX, but this is dumb... I'm actually still using the phone, with the stock ROM I might add, so this is quite annoying.
I've sent a short email to HTC, but with thebobmannh's link, it's clear I may need to pay for the service... At least I genuinely use it.
