Getjar seems to be overloaded. Can anyone who got it can mirror it?
Go to the mobile site from your browser or, preferably, ByteTornado. m.getjar.com I was able to download it from there without issue. For those experiencing problems, it should be in the market withing 24 hours.
Edit: looks like the mobile site is down. I thought I downloaded, but it got stuck at 98% Getjar sucks lol
Almost had it. accessing it from my computer, and had it downloading, but it died at 6mb. If i get it ill post the file up.

I've got ByteTornado on my phone working on trying to download it. Nice part is I can restart it so I don't have to try it from the start each time. Getting close to half way through xD

No problem. This was one of my favorite games back when I had an iPhone. Good to see the higher-quality Android games finally rolling in slowly, but surely.
I must say, this game is definitely not some dirty port... It plays fluidly even at 500MHz.

Is your browser user agent set to android? This was my problem, after changing it the page came up and I was able to download.
got the page, my problem was that I was using Miren Browser, doesn't have an 'Android' User Agent to set to in that app...
Now I'm trying to get it to download...must be busy on their servers!
I also wonder if they're going to allow free updates to anyone who gets this download....or are they stopping dev of this game now....hmmm
EDIT:
Nevermind, I have my phone rooted, not sure if that was the problem.....I found an old post saying to install the game, then reboot your phone to get it to run. I fixed my permissions in Rom Manager and rebooted, now the game is downloading the game files. Thanks for letting us know about the free download!

Same here, Nexus One downloads Motorola Milestone version but it has SMS read/send permissions!!!!!
I will be avoiding this, choose to download other HTC build (which are Motorola Droid) and have no SMS permissions
Well it installed on my Nexus One now I am downloading the 241MB. It does have app2SD but still leaves 7MB on internal storage.

I went with 800m on my 8G card.. Figured that's more than enough, and it is.. I have a ton of stuff installed and it's 560M free.
BTW guys, maybe most games work like this, but there's no saving during a level. Gotta wait until you start a new level to exit, or you start over at the last level you started. Kinda annoying. If I gotta stop playing, I gotta stop.. Oh well.

same question as the post above me. I also have a G2 (stock) and its not working. I get the message "Sorry, but there are no available game for you mobile".
I selected the Galaxy S version and it installed and plays perfectly on my MyTouch 4G. I'm not sure if it matters which version you select at this point in time.

That link after sending me the text message took me to a page and had the game listed at $4.99. So I went and found it for free.
As of yesterday, none of the apps I download from either the marketplace or amazon will install. They will download without problem, but they won't actually install.
Anyone else having this problem or know of a fix?
What does the error log say?

go to applications>Manage Applications>Market>uninstall updates and clear data and cache. then go back into market and sign back in. hopefully that will fix it.
This happened to me, I had to clear some space on hard drive or whatever you want to call it? (Solid state memory, SSD, I'm really not sure) It totally fixed it.

yeah, that was it. Apparently you need at least two gigs of hard drive space to install apps

My medical school has lectures online. I d/l them on my desktop computer, transfer them over USB, and watch them on my xoom. I fill up space pretty quickly. Each organ system is only 2 weeks, so I also empty space pretty quickly. This also means I'm waiting pretty impatiently for SD support. WTF is the hold up?
The xoom has been clutch for watching these vids while there's something on TV or while I'm cooking dinner or eating breakfast or.... you know, trying to do stuff that people with free time have the luxury of doing. Sigh....

its because you touch yourself. Or because you bought that app in the amazon store and not the Google store. Google only updates apps bought from its store.
There's a nice little app with no name, sitting on top of my apps list with an impressive array of permissions. It appears to be a system app, so likely not malicious.
Anyway, just curious to know what it is and if it's safe to freeze.

It does seem to be a core Android process given the long list of permissions & reckon it wouldn't be safe hence to freeze it. It always shows as 0.00B though.
After reading this I checked mine and confirm mine is also having this app. Don't have a clue what it is and what it does.
I may wrong but I don't think it was in GB.

I had a weird update available on Play Store today while I was working my way back to CM10... for Play Services or something like that - the icon was a small puzzle piece with play store colors.. but I did not update it and now I can't find it on the play store anywhere. True, we have a GoogleServicesFramework.apk, but I have never seen an update for something like that before.. and the 4 reviews that were there mentioned that it was a virus or something... oh well, probably unrelated.

It didn't say anywhere that it requires 4.3 but I knew it was odd!
Only thing about 4.3 that I can see is * WiFi Connection recommended for OS 4.3 on the description. That's nowhere near saying it's only for 4.3+.
Checked it just now and still shows 2.0.1. OR DID I MISS SOMETHING? Maybe I'm being stupid again... but...

Well guys, just to let you know, I tried it and it goes in game, you can fiddle around menu and settings, but it force closes while loading first mission, even restarted my play two times. Tried it on gin2jellybean, stock cpu, and overclocked. Maybe it will get better as they update it, but for now, it's just a 2GB waste of space unfortunately...
