Official Tennis Rolex Analogue Clock - HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 Themes and Apps

I need some help here....
I hope I can get the Official Grand Slam Tennis Rolex Analogue clock for the Cookie Monsters 1.7.x mod. I love watching tennis and one of the things I see and like is the official Rolex clock/timer. It has the analogue Rolex clock as well as the ROLEX name placed between the 2 Logos below the clock. On the right side you find the Digital Clock to show the time elapsed for the match being shown.
I am hoping that someone could please make that same clock for me either exactly as it is perhaps with Digital part being for stop-watch or on the right it can display the weather condition.
Unfortunately I have been unable to trace a wallpaper or high res image of the exact same clock but I hope that the clock modifiers here might be having something similar. I have attached a website screenshot showing the clock which is very close to the actual clock/timer in Rolex sponsored Tennis tournments especially the Grand Slams. An image of the Clock at a tennis court is also attached.
Thanking you in advance......

Anybody who can help

What exactly do you need... the watch only (dial plus gold bezel) or the green housing around, too?
The clock alone (again, dial plus bezel only) takes little time, plus the green housing a little more...
As a sample, the easy mix...

I will do both versions then... you will have the choice, as with the whole housing, the clock itself will be quite a bit smaller...
Will post the result soon!

Here we go...
A "full" version of the Rolex Tenniswatch.
It is done for Cookiemonsters Home Tab 1.7.
To install, just copy the cab to your HD2 and run it, then soft reset.
As the clock layout brings offset positions for the dials, please note that the file which contains
those positions is replaced too. Please also see my comment below how to go back to the original
layout and clock.
*IMPORTANT*: To uninstall, please use the attached cab which will restore the original analog
clock from Cookiemonsters Home Tab including the original position of the dials!

Thank you very much for the Tennis Rolex clock. I already installed it and enjoying.
Is it possible to adjust the clock so that the top part does not protrude above the background that contains the clock and the weather. Similarly there is a big gap on the left side which shows a blank area which I believe would be better if occupied by the clock. What about the Second hand? Is it possible to have it. And finally maybe we can consider the clock hands to be a different colour - Golden maybe or even red......
Edit...... I attach the screenshot for easier understading of the clock that I wish can be moved a bit to the left and also a little lower so that it can align or look better with the box for clock and weather. Thank you. Tic Tac or is it Tik Tok ......
For some reason screenshot cant upload. Dont know why. Will try later

Well, I just kept the clock as close as possible (and resonable) to the outdoor picture in your opening post... no seconds hand there, but of course, it can be added without huge effort. And, the color of the hands can also be changed quite easily, too.
Since the overall design of the clock is not really an exact square (the original layout is 256 x 256 pixels), some space (at the left and right side) is actually transparent.
Any modification of the positioning will take a little bit longer as the offset of the hands requires some changes in the coordinates of the layout file.
A picture to show what your exact requests are would definitely be helpful, even though I can indeed imagine what you mean, but I may be wrong...

Indeed you made the clock exactly as I wanted. What I mean is the positioning of the clock in the homescreen once it is installed. I was just wondering if there is a way it can be pushed a little to the left and slightly lower for better alignment. I guess you and me are talking of the same thing but I am the problem coz I dont know exactly how the clocks are done.
I have changed the homescreen image format and hope I will now be able to upload...... Here we go

One last request sir...... As you try make the requested features of the clock could you please put some gold on the clock bazel (i believe thats the name for the ring round the clock?). Sorry if I sound greedy but I promise I wont make any more intense and time consuming requests

On real Rolex watches, the crown from the logo is sometimes in gold, too... would you like to have that in gold?
The bezel I took was a picture of a real Rolex spare part... in gold, actually, but I will take care to enhance a bit...
Some waiting time for you is given though. Until the end of it, please enjoy your "beta" version!

Perfect

By the Way TicTac I have this Rolex flash file I wonder if its of any help. The clock, bazel and face could be useful but I have no idea. Please have a look.

Here is the result of some trials.
Unfortunately, there are some hair lines at the border of the clock graphics (above and to the left of the clock, see picture). Will try to get rid of those...
Attached is the cab for this clock. It will only look nice for the analog clock plus weather layout, maybe you can live with the looks of digital/analog/weather combination, too...
The Rolex crown has become golden, there is now a seconds hand.
Again, to uninstall, please use the cab which I added with the first draft a few posts earlier.

Thank you very much. This new one is very close to the real thing. I agree with you if you manage to get rid of the two gaps mentioned it will be much better. Dont know what you can do for the gap between the line separating the clock and the weather. Can the green background and the logo below be extended towards that side? Just a thought.... No pressure sir. Once more, thank you buddy.

Chome Weather 2.0

FYI, CHome Weather 2.0 works on the VOX. Please follow the link to see the original thread in the Excalibur forum.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=396068
And click here to download the files needed for the Vox.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2250095&postcount=43
Hello...just downloaded this version of CHome Weather and it looks amazing...great job. There's only one problem, probably related to the 240x320 cpr file because, like I already read in the excalibur forum, there's an issue in 240x320 where the background looks a little odd and doesn't fit the area like it supposed to. But again amazing job...keep it up
EDIT: I've just used a version of the 240 x 320 cpr file already used in another version of your plugin and it works great now
I was just now testing the other layouts and there are some issues:
- I realized that everytime i change the layout, it doesn't matter the cpr 240x320 file i did put there because when the layout is changed the cpr file is kind of replaced by the one corresponding to the sellected layout.
- In the HTC and Iphone layout, it shows always an icon with a cross below the icon of the current weather, instead of showing the icon corresponding to the weather.
- In regular layout, the gold and silver backgrounds don't work well in 320 x 240.
- In the regular layout, in the 1 and 3 layouts, I can't see the hi and low temperature.
Yeah, you'll have problems with the portrait layouts.
Is it possible to fix the problem with portrait?? That is the last thing, that keeps me from donating.
I am so happy with this program. I worked as Organic M's test subject to get this working. I can't say I notice the problem you guys are talking about in regards to portrait mode.
This is what I see:
have the author, removed the files from the location... I am unable to get those...
Can someone help plzzzzzzz!!!!!!!
Thanks

There are 2 links in the main post at the top of this thread.
The first one is the weather program
The second one is all the files that need to be installed to /windows on your device
Davis,
From your post, it looks like that screen is in ladscape mode. Portrait is taller than wider, yours looks wider than it is taller.
Thanks a lot.. I found the same at the post. I was just eager to get Weather update on my VOX...So got carried away...
Thanks

Well if you put it that way, you'll definitely NOT get me to fix the portrait layouts. How about.. "here's a small donation and small request... I would really appreciate it if you could work on the portrait layouts(which is a major PITA) so this works properly on my phone".
Well then I Only wanted to know if it is possible to do it. But I can live without it. I can look outside to see the weather. You know I made a lot of stuff for the Vox...but I never received ANY donation!!!
works beatifull. got no issues with any layout (i'm using plain black background). excellent job!
the only question i have is if it is possible to manually edit order of appearance on home screen somehow as i could do it in standard homescreens in _home.xml file?

This is definitely NOT what I wanted to happen here. I worked with Organic M to get this app to work with our phone models and he was nice enough to help us out.
This is far from the thanks that he deserves, since the app is designed for an entirely different model.
Why so serious? can't we all just... get along?

I have no idea what you are talking about....
???
As I said I only wanted to know if it is posible nothing more. And I just wanted to clarify that people here are not thankful! I really do apreciate his work. And the work of all the other coders and cookers! I hope you understand my point!
Does this plugin use necessarily the whole width of the screen, or is it possible to customize its size or layout (present conditions, 2-days forecasts, 5-days forecasts...)?
At present I'm using Fizz Weather with Orange plugin on my Wings, in order to show an analoug clock and weather forecasts next to it (see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=89987&d=1212446950); will it be possible to make the same thing with Chome Weather?
So... is anyone still interested in making this work better with the Vox ? Maybe ask some of your ROM cookers to look at the policies in the registry and ask them remove the restricts that don't allow cab files to copy files to the \windows directory ? Then I wouldn't have to make two separate .cab files when I released a new version That, and if anybody wants to help test the portrait layouts, we can make this happen.
Yes it would be great to see the weather plugin fully working on the Vox...that thing about the restrictions I never understood that because after checking myself the registry many times, I saw that the restrictions were disabled and the thing about installing files in the windows folder still remains a problem...

I use the default gradient with manila as i like a stock manila look to my phone rather than loads of different colours.
If you install the attached cab it will give you the high quality gradient on all tabs.
This is for sense 2.5 if your using sense or manila 2.1 it wont work
thank u! installed it and im going to keep it, is this available with the same gradient but with the grid that comes on stock too?
anyone else got something in the direction of not colorful, stylish understatement stuff ? ^^
maybe if it interests u, i found someting that really looks awesome in my opinion:
take the attached picture and use the awesome (must have) cookie´s home tab, there u can have multiple app screens like on ipod, u can switch to make the app grid invisible, so u can make it pop up and since the grid is invisible it leaves the screen almost blank, look at my attachments...
Do you like it?
about ur program: if its installed i cant use any wallpapers, except for the animated stocks, so i had to uninstall

[MOD] Manila Sliders

Hey Guys and Gals...
Just been messing with the sliders and settled on a grey bar across the top of the slider back ground..
I have a small problem with the alignment on the slider icons.
From what I can tell.. There are two bar icons one that is always present and one that appears as you scroll and changes to the tab that you are selecting.
The The top most is the one that changes as you slid across the bar. This one seems a little larger than the permanently visible.
Does any one know the manila files or a method to change so they are the same size or move the topmost down a couple of pixels.
Thanks
Neville
What did you use to change it? If your using HD Wall then I would say not that I know of since it does all the work for you. If you are using Mode9 or CFC_GUI then you can just edit the picture in photoshop.
I used manila editor to extract the PNG of the slider and changed that...
I'm ok with that part Hence the small grey line above the home icon...
I'm looking for a source that will tell how to change the slider foreground or background icons.
Any Idea?
Thanks
I´m not sure that i understand it right.
But you can use HDwall to create a slider. Put the images in HDwall convert and than you find the manila files in the HDwall programm folder. These you can copy to your Windows folder on your Device.

Hope that is what you want.

I like what you're doing with the slider mate. It's always bugged me the way it is, and what you're doing looks really subtle. Are you planning on cabbing up the manila files when you're done?
johncmolyneux - I may be asking you to cab it
I've replaced the slider with the line above the icon. I – like you – hate the way the slider sits above the tabbar. However I’ve found that making the slider transparent shows that the two icons don’t sit over each other. This has always been a peeve for transparent slider frames.
So I’m now trying to find the foregrounds Icon and turn those transparent, so that it only looks as though there is one icon.
Whilst I’m there I was thinking of making the back ground icons transparent, so that you would only have current tab icon showing, one step at a time...
Thanks for the interest.. here is the slider if you want to try
Not zipped, just rename and remove the ".zip"
Neville
Backup Backup Backup
It's a simple alignment issue. I found the same issue when I made my sliders. I just use photo shop to make the current tab icon a bit bigger an move it ever so slightly over so that it full covers the lower icon. It's not hard just set the two images over one another in a layer to make sure it will cover it properly before uploading back into manila form.

If your looking for a list of the manila names and exactly what they do I can't help you there. Depending on the ROM you could have 3 to 4 files that are associated with each tab. The slightly larger one is the foreground image while on the tab. The others are the static, highlighted, and tab selection on the settings page for tab order.
You can go through and change each one at a time till you figure it out or you can wait till somebody responds with the list you are looking for which I don't think will happen. Sorry........
I thought that may have been the case - Thanks anyway - Wanted to do something like this for an ages... will have to mark what the files do when I find them. I'm sure I saw a Wiki page but can't find it at the moment...
Managed to reduce the height on the selector of level one and two.
I know there is a list that will tell you what each manila goes to ie Home,MMS,Email, etc but it will not tell you what it does in relation to the tab as far as foreground,selected,static,etc...
KNows you where that is?

CHT widget B&L_Group Animation Widget

CHT widget B&L_Group Animation Widget
Description: New widget - Animation. The principle is simple folder put a bunch of equally-sized pictures (preferably not more than 20 and not horse-sized (enough for 100 * 100)) and in a certain place the widget you will see endless cartoon.
All images are stored in Program Files \ BL_Group_Animation, and have the template name BL_Group_AW_ (three-digit number with leading zeros pictures). Png. This means that if you have the first frame of his room in the name of the tether will be 001, but if the tenth is 010. Before replacing the images would recommend to disable the widget from the table, remove the old pictures, upload their pictures (their number may not coincide with mine), add the widget to the table with the will recount the images in the folder and will start your animation. In the CAB today is a dancing rabbit, the symbol 2011.
I want to note that the picture turns Manila and because a similar rate of gif files will not be able to achieve.
There is an opportunity to move, resize, and dock.
Compatible with other widgets.

But when I put it on my homescreen and soft reset like it suggested my homescreen was kind of destroyed. the taskbar and the old softkeybar is displayed ( the one with Phone and contacts) but the homescreen is black. I cant get to settings to deinstall it and not a single other thing. I cant remove it from the homescreen, because it seems my device isnt using CHT2 at the moment
would be glad if you could help me fast.
I cant really provide system information, because I cant get them to be displayed. The only thing I can say, is that I am using elegancia rom
Edit:
well got my homescreen back due to reinstalling and just softreseting after the deinstallation:
OS : 5.2.21916 (21916.5.0.95)
Manila : 2.5.20181424.0
Rom: Elegancia V 5.0 Final WWE

Thanks again for your efforts to get this out.
No problems here also.
Thanx for this nice widget, it's fun

Is there a way of altering the frame speed? If so this could be really easily adapted to be a slideshow widget - just place images for slideshow in the folder, name correctly, set frame speed to 5 seconds or so and voila, digital slideshow

Yeah that helped^^ got it working now thanks.
Would be awesome if it was possible to speed it up
Thank you. Worked on my Touch Diamond

[REQ] Anyone up for a challenge?

Looks pretty cool. Anyone up for it? Maybe as a widget instead of a lock screen? A full page widget our luck screen. Doesn't really matter...

I think a Live Wallpaper would be better.
Do you mean something like this?
That looks good. It's a widget, right? What's the name?
Search market for wordclock, there are widgets and livewallpapers
It's my widget - One More Clock. However, I'm in the middle of a rewrite (from XML to JSON) and this theme is using the new format.
Here, use this apk and pick the "Clock Too" theme... it defaults to 4x2 but you can resize to any size you want if you have launcherPro/ADW.
Leave me feedback so I can incorporate them into the next version of OMC!
Definitely need a lockscreen AND a livewallpaper of the one at Gizmodo. It's pretty awesome.
@PhilDsT: Searched according to your suggestion but couldn't find anything that looks really like the Qlocktwo. Only more or less "ugly" copies.
@xaffron: Thanks alot! After changing the background color to black, it looks almost like the original! And I now think that this is better as widget instead as LWP, because if it's an LWP, you could hardly read the time depending on how the desktop is arranged. So yes, this is really great!
What I notice on my Dell Streak is that loading the widget takes quite a long time (something like 15 seconds or so) after unlocking. Not really an issue for me, but maybe interesting for you.
If I may, I'd like to ask one question: Do you think you could also add a german version? The letter layout would need to look like on the real Qlocktwo as seen here. I would of course help you with a translation matrix if required.
Many TIA!
Thanks for the feedback, BigBlue007! Turn on Foreground Mode for now for best responsiveness. I'm working on the part that gives faster updates on screen-on.
Here's the German version. I've been telling anyone who would listen that OMC skins well, so might as well put my money where my mouth is
Unzip to your SD Card, under the /OMC directory (so that it is /OMC/Clock2German).
the Clock2 German theme will now be available. I don't know German so this is just a guess - let me know what to tweak!
Cool! Thanks alot! Will check it right now and will come back to you with corrective suggestions if there are any.
OK, first of all, the letter matrix is 100% correct. F*cking awesome mate! Thanks again!
Now for the first correction: The current time right now would read as:
"ES IST VIERTEL VOR EINS"
What's missing is the "S" at the end of the word "EINS" (which is "ONE"). The "S" is there, but it's not lit.
edit: I took a look into the .json file and I think I am able to fix it myself my replacing the two occurances of "E I N" in lines 479 and 491 by "E I N S". From what I can see in that file, everything else should be correct.
edit2: Yes, modifying the .json file had the desired effect.
Enabling the foreground option does indeed solve the issue that it took long for the widget to redraw after unlock. What still take some time is redrawing it after changing from portrait to landscape mode or vice versa. But I'm sure this will be sorted out during the further development, and as said it's not really a big deal for me.
After looking into that .json file, I would say that I might indeed had been able to create a german version myself, so sorry for bothering you with that...
Thanks, glad you figured out the JSON yourself! Other languages should be pretty simple as well.
I'll change the theme and upload a new version once I get a few minutes.
Corrected Clock2German
Here's a fixed Clock2German theme.
- Changed default slate color from green to black.
- Fixed position of ZEHN and FUNF.
- Cleaned up overlay glass.
Just found OMC, and when flipping through the themes my yaw dropped at "Clock Too". AWESOME!!!!! My new favorite
