I have an idea for any graphics artist out there who want to make a bootup screen. How about:
an android robot with a red apple on his head then you see a green arrow fly and nail the apple and stick there with the arrow having "android" printed on it
I myself would love to do it, but art & me do not mix. If anyone does do it, all i ask is to email me a link to it so that I can get it

i'm just curious if someone has or could make an app that can make a phone like the htc pro act like a white noise machine. all it would have to do is loop some peaceful sounds like the ocean or whatever and have a button to toggle the screen off. this would be great for me, but i dont know the first thing about developing, so i'm looking for a little help, thanks
why not just get a sound sample you like and run it in the media player- the center of he dpad (go to setting to change it) in windows media player can toggle the screen on/off while continuing to play in the background.
thats a good idea, but i just found a program called pocket Oscillator that is supposed to create a kind of white noise so ill just try that. its an older program, but should still work to some degree.
I could try to find a sample of Ice, Ice Baby for you, would that help?

I want to create a animated bootup screen.
since im pretty high skilled in adobe flash pro i wanted to make a nice
bootup animation together with a relaxing sound
i know i got to use a .WAV file for the sound, i think i'll be able to add that
into my booting screen.
but my question is :
what size does it need to be ...x... ?
what format do i have to use so it will actually work ( will be neat after alot of work )
i know it is possible, i did try to search for a ''how-to'' but couldn't find one.

sorry for the late responce, i working on it, its looking nice so far
the fading affect is done, now trying to add a reflection, like metal flickering in
the light of the sun
ill post it when its done.

Okay, so I'll try to explain this the best I can. I think it would be cool if a live wallpaper dev could make the standard cm 'nexus' LW into a pin toy type display. For explanation purposes lets say the squares get brighter up to the part of the letter, are brightest at the letter itself and then go dimmer away from the letter. if you Google 'PIN TOY' you'll know what I'm talking about. So basically you wouldn't see a 'lead' square going across the screen but instead you would only see the trail up to the part or 'square' of the letter and then a trail for a few squares going away. I thought this would be cool if we could make the word Cyanogen or maybe just cyan or something... anyways do you think we could make this happen?
I was thinking it would be awesome to have a SMS app that would look just like a terminal. The old school green screen terminal. All one screen no input box or anything.

I dont like how the cup or whatever continues to move past where you are touching while you are still touching the screen. Would be much more intuitive to follow your finger and not move past it. This would make it impossible or hard to go to the other side of the screen by moving offscreen, but I'm not sure that mechanic is valuable anyway. I played on a phone.

Well i never thought of that! Thanks for suggestion. This is a great idea and I will try today when i finish my homework to implement that and I added the going to the other side option because its almost impossible to get a score of 50 on a tablet because you'll need to go to the other side fast and often might not be able to reach it...
