I was thinking it would be awesome to have a SMS app that would look just like a terminal. The old school green screen terminal. All one screen no input box or anything.
Hyruu>Hey, want to go to the game?
Hyruu2>Sure man, lets go.
Hyruu> "enter text here"
And the conversation's look like that with an all black and green color. At the bottom all you see is your name and a flashing ">". Does anyone know one like this or can someone explain how I can create this myself?

Hey,
This might be a very stupid question, but I have no idea about how to change the clock text color into #F24400.
They used a 8 nummered color-code (#FFFFFFFF) instead of the usual 6, but when I change it, I always get a standard blue color. I looked all over the internet, but couln't find the answer.
Hope you guys can help me...
No one, wants to change the text colours? No one knows 'how to' either?
edit: Oke, I was able to change it into a red colour by using '#FF0000FF'. So it is possible, but does anybody know a colour-code list for 8 characters?
On this site there are a few
http://www.ellipsix.net/textwriter/render.jsp
Thanks!
O, it's so simple. Just the normal colour code with 'FF' behind it.
Why didn't I come up with that. I tried adding a '00' or a '0' in front and a '0' in the back...
But anyway, now I know how it works.

EDIT: I now see what your looking for. Don't know if any such thing on WiMo
I FOUND ONE!
its the LED Banner 1.4 by Pebles on HTCSpain.com
the app is in spanish, but easy to understand!
i hope everyone enjoys!
You need to communicate something to someone at a distance? Maybe across the whole room, the disco or a pub in the style to order a drink? This simulates the cool diode board, we can see on the streets, sports matches and the like. Your text will issue huge letters across the screen and will move from right to left in order to comfortably read.
The application is in Spanish, but even a little, it does not prevent the comfortable use. Soon after the launch will start on a virtual LED table specify the default text. Press the screen to view options. The text box fill in your text (keyboard, you can view the keyboard icon). If you check "abc = ABC", all big letters. Inconspicuous icon right of this option displays offer preset phrases that you can quickly select and use. The default Spanish you probably will not be useless (if you netrénujete Spanish), you can overwrite any custom in the "\ Program Files \ htcspain \ Led Banner \ Frases.txt". By its text every time you do not have to write again in the field, but to select from pre-prepared.
The second tab "Color" can change the color of virtual diodes. Be it in namixujte RGB from the menu or select a preset shades. Default are set red diodes. Last tab "Other" determines whether the diode round (Circulos ") or square (Cuadrados). Slider changes the speed of text.
Button "Salir" leave application "OK" to save the changes and perform equal to the result. Next time you will have used only representative enough and straight will depict your last text last designated setting.
Here's another.
LED Lattice Emulator. The one you posted looks like it has more options, but this one works.

I was trying to find an app for my mytouch that is the same as make it mine for the iphone where it will change my lock screen from Tmobile to whatever I type in... anyone seen a program like this?
Sounds Cool
This sounds cool, that would be awsome if someone could make an app to do that
Also interested.....
Any news?
Google "Pulldown Editor 1.1 for Motorola Droid" and the first result will be what you are looking for. I'd post the link directly but my account isn't verified.
The app will change the banner in the pulldown shade as well as the name on the lockscreen, but there is a 16 character limit.
If your rooted I don't see why you couldn't do it yourself. If it's a pic file buff up on photoshop skills, if it's text It shouldn't be that hard to find the right value. However a GUI to do this would be convenient. I get sick of pushing files 24/7 especially after i update my rom
Well if someone knows a way to do that it would be great.
My carrier had the brilliant idea to name itself "Cytamobile-Vodafone CytaVoda". As you can see this takes up the whole screen. In my HTC Desire it causes the call timer and info to fall off screen so you can't see if the call was connected and how long the call took. You just see the carrier name.
Hi all, first off. Being that this is my first post, I can't post in a developer specific thread, but rest assured I have done a search first.
What i am in search of is a widget app that can do minimal text in a diagonal form.
I currently have minimalistic text which is an absolutely brilliant app. My homescreen has the days of the week across the top, and while sitting admiring the finished piece, I though..."it would look great if the text was on a 45 degree angle" or something like that.
Do any of you know of an app that does this already?
OOps. Sorry. and thanks.
After switching to the Galaxy S10 phone, I noticed that the gallery photo editor application is robbed of its best features. it's so frustrating when these manufacturers just arbitrarily decide to screw up a good thing.
I constantly and I mean constantly use gallery photo editor and the eyedropper feature to select a custom color and then use the pen to edit out things in images I don't visible. I make them disappear by writing over them in the exact custom colors that already exist in the image. I choose that color with the eyedropper!
Now it seems you either have to overlay a text box over the top which flat out doesn't work because the new text box interface is so bulky and ridiculously lacking because it only has a very very few options. The NEW UNIMPROVED paint feature has ONLY 10 or so canned multicolor designs you can print with... WHO WANTS TO PAINT WITH MULTICOLOR DESIGNS? (KINDA DUMB, but okay)
1. Please don't tell me to go download it because I already look for it and it isn't there.
2. I already tried clicking the upper right corner and clicking advanced and then clicking the pencil to edit and then going through all the options inside that area and it's not there.
3. I've tried using the key combination to create a screenshot and several third-party apps to create screenshots in my efforts to find the eyedropper and it is not there.
4. Please don't tell me to go download Photoshop or some other app I don't want too; I just want my photo editor eye-dropper back!!
I use it constantly and I mean constantly 50 times a day! I take screenshots and edit out ads and things like text and hearts and stars to indicate the item is a favorite etc. using the eyedropper to select the custom background color and then the pen to write over the top of whatever it is you don't want visible makes it blend right into the background... THIS IS SO UNIMAGINABLY BASIC!
I be already spent weeks hunting for where the ability to add an image inside another image and finally was able to find it obscured in stickers area! I've searched and searched every possible conceivable section for any imaginable way they might have hid in the eye dropper and I just can't find it!!
I just want my eye dropper back! It's causing massive problems because I can't do what I need to do 100 times a day!!
Can someone within the limitations outlined above 1 through 4 please PLEASE tell me where the eyedropper went?!?
I'm in the SAAAAMMMME BOAT.
I manage several different social media accounts, and have used this feature FOR YEARS to edit out extraneous things. It was simple and easy.
Weirdly enough, it was there in November, so it kept my main sampled color as an option, WHICH IS THE ONLY WAY I can basically continue to do what I do. This has been a nightmare.
If you find anything out, PLEASE let me know.
I'll also do the same.
You mean this?
To do this?
Thanks ?
That option does not show up if you have selected the edit dialogue box to pop up after you screencap, as it used to.
But this is very helpful. THANK YOU!
It's on the color palette now
