I have the HTC HD mini how to install and activate the sense I can not find anywhere else ?
what are you talking about dude? Sense is activated by default. Dont think you start up your (new I suppose) phone and the only thing it shows you is the win mobile 6.5 standard layout.. but just in case.. start --> settings -> personal -> today / home -> Items. There you should find it.

Press Options and do not do not open why?
Does the mini have sense 2.5?
maybe someone can explain how to install a new user interface?

It would seem your mini is corrupted, try a Hard reset, that should fix it. the settings in the start menu link to HTC sense, which appears to be broked o)

It would seem your Rom is corupted, send back under warrantee

You are a noob(just like me) A requirement for HTC home is an HTC device with WM 6.1
My i780 has WM6.1
it MUST also be an HTC device

It is a rar archive wich contains also the htc home, you have to install the one called EFN HTC HOME V2 MAIN.

Now go in start-settings-Today-items select HTC home and that' s all
I don't see it in my Today folder.

Edit: damn, I had it for a second but than that error I mentioned before (quote) came back.
It happened to me when i was using an italianized i1 rom but to solve it i reflashed with L1, restarting the device is unuseful try reflashing your device with a best rom or to perform an hard-reset
What do you mean with "L1"?
I just bought the device and it has WM6.1 allready installed on it. I believe it's the latest ROM.

No there are many modified english roms, you can find them on this forum.The L1 i use is one of the first roms with pagepool increased to 16mb but there are also newest roms like HL2 made by inertiax or mascian which are also very good.

I've just put it on my phone, it's a better supported handwriting recognization, tried it, and i got less letter mistake than before. If you want to texting with your stylus, i think its a recommended upgrade...

same for me it wont install, i think setup check for oficial ROM and with cooked Roms gives the "non suport" error.

I +1 on this, typing with fingers or stylus is now easier, you do to 99% hit the key you wanted to hit. Very nice hotfix.
Doesn't work for my UDK Rom! "not compatible with your device"

I successfully installed it on EnergyROM 28014 TOPAZ 15.Dec.2009 StandardM2.5 too but it does not work. Which EnergyROM do you have?

If as I think, you are talking about the Update for HTC Touch Diamond2 Handwriting, it should allow you to add handwriting to permit text input. If you click just to the right of the keyboard input icon, handwriting should be one of the options available to you.

how exactly did you install it nickyfranky? If you don't mind me asking...because it didn't work for me.
Have stock rom 6.5, doesn't work for me either.
Install says ok, but there is no option for handwriting.

It hasn't worked for me either but I think eveyone sharing their experience here should indicate the ROM that they are using. This may provide some additional insight into where the problem may lie.

If you are like me and flashed few new ROMs with new MANILA then you have experienced bug which is removed "Set Destination" button in Digital Compass APP.there is Dutty's CAB out there to fix this but when i installed it it was still searching for GPS even though no destination was set.so i have made a cab which works just fine.just like we know it from stock ROMs.
Install:
Disable MANILA
Install CAB
Soft Reset
Enjoy
NOTE:
If you are not experiencing any trouble with Dutty's CAB there is no need to upgrade.

No...you just go into Settings, click Menu at the bottom, choose All Settings, click on the Today icon, choose Items at the bottom and uncheck HTC Sense. You need to check Windows Default, though. Or it will reset back to Sense, I believe.
Fix also works in ROM 3.14 NLD

I have the Digital Compass on my T-Mobile Leo but I don't have the Distination botton. I tried installing your cab and has the same problem. When installing Dutty Digital Compass, I have the destination function but it works only if Google Maps is installed on Internal Memory. It does not work if it is installed on Storage Card.
Appreciate if you can fix that.
Is it possible to make the map in the compass (google earth) showed the view from satellite? I didn`t find that function.
It is quite strange to me that HTC HD2 manual describes the features which are ABSENT in the phone with the OFFICIAL ROM. Such as "Destination" button in the DigitalCompass application in the newest 3.14.xxx.x ROM.
Why not to describe in the manual that phone can fly ? or has 3D video output ?
PS: I tried old *.cabs described here to fix the compass navigation function and found that none of them works without problem with new Manila 2.5.2018xxx installed at 3.14.xxx.x official ROM

i just started reading ur forum yesterday.. and installed the advanced configuration tool.. did a few tweaks in messaging.... (enable sent message and delivery).. now i cant read messages... as soon as i press the sms tab... it launches touch flo again and again....

You need to tell us which Rom you are using, when did the problem occur (i.e. after a flash or always since purchase). Also, you should do a proper search once you have narrowed down the Rom and/or other specifics. Do the search in one of <<THESE THREADS>>

Try running the original CAB file again on your phone. Before it installs, it needs to remove the old version. I am pretty sure thats how I made it uninstall.
have you disabled sense from the today settings ? you should be able to remove it after sense is disabled. if not then you should do a softreset and try it afterwards
