Keep WIFI in standby

Hi
Sometimes I need to download some bigger file, I'm using wifi and download manager to do that, but when my phone goes standby wifi turn off and downloading stops. I've already read about some possible tweak for that. Anybody already do it on Touch2 wm 6.5?

You can try that:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\BCMSDDHD1\Parms
HTCKeepWifiOnWhenUnattended=0 - you must change it to 1 and soft-reset your phone.

hey guys m new to htc touch2 ...so help me out .....
Recently I have downloaded chome editor and m unable to find - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE option where i can edit it so plz guide me ...

has anyone found where this folder is on the omnia 2 i8000?
i can get as far as HKLM/Comm, but then no more

Download Resco Tools, Resco's Registry Editor is good. Google & install. Then do the changes in Registry

Is there a cab?
Greetings, just want to ask is there a cab for this, or an app (on/off)? for some non-techie, so as not to dig into the registry, or easily accessible and even can put in program list..

Try my app "WiFiStayAlive" (no install, just copy the file wherever you want on your touch2 and simply launch it)

I have some error : 'Http://handle.accuweather.com/widget/hadle/weather-data.asp?location=EZ003&metric=1 couldn't be opened

What to hell is this for error ? Is any Titanium Weather which works ?

I have the same problem. It seems we are all using an account call hadle and i think if is used to mach they block it. It would be easy to fix it if you could use your own account or use another one that still works example :
"//rdona.accu-weather.com/widget/rdona/weather-data.asp?location=SAM|AR|AR007|BUENOS%20AIRES&metric=0"
Unfortunately it seems as this address is hardcoded and can not be change either from the menu or the registry itself.
Hope this help and it can be fix on future release.
Ok I found where to change the address look for the file TitaniumWeather.mscr and change hadle for your own account like the one from my example rdona

Doesn't work anymore. The change have to be on the source, beacuse is harcode, there is no settings changeable.

There is another way. I use Home Screen Customizer. The developer of this simple app has posted his work on here but the app itself is available free through Marketplace.
Basically you can remove items from your Titanium list using the app but it also allows you to add some items too. One of them is Weather, another is a handy apps bar.
Works great for me on 6.5.

hey jowi i hope you read this. i only just figured this one out.
1. open file explorer and find 'c:\program files\titaniumweather\titaniumweather.mscr'
2. open with a programme such as notepad.exe
3. FIND this line "link=ReadFile("h ttp://hadle.accu-weather.com/widget/hadle/weather..."
4. REPLACE 'hadle' with 'rdona' in 2 places. the line should then read "h ttp://rdona.accu-weather.com/widget/rdona/weather..."
5. SAVE.
6. Update from TitaniumWeather settings.
this fix basically changes to another registered username with accu-weather. perhaps hadle's account got closed.

how to install HTC sense?

I have the HTC HD mini how to install and activate the sense I can not find anywhere else ?

what are you talking about dude? Sense is activated by default. Dont think you start up your (new I suppose) phone and the only thing it shows you is the win mobile 6.5 standard layout.. but just in case.. start --> settings -> personal -> today / home -> Items. There you should find it.

It would seem your mini is corrupted, try a Hard reset, that should fix it. the settings in the start menu link to HTC sense, which appears to be broked o)

It would seem your Rom is corupted, send back under warrantee

help with music tab (emergency)

after i installed cookie's hometab, i found tat my picture tab now have no respond at all , just like the attachment.. wat happened?! help pls!!!

When not download and istall it!

This can´t be come from cookies so far i know!

that's wat my homescreen appear after i remove cookie's tab.

Did you install some other programms like BSB Tweaks or SK tools?

yup i did install them. but nothin happens when i edit my fon settings using them

Uninstall bsb tweaks softreset and tahn gimme feddback again!

OKay than i think you had to do a hardreset!

No sry i don´t! Because i flash each week a rom! I think the best is to do a Hardreset to be sure that all is clean.

Hello, I had installed Cookies Home Tab as well.
Now I have uninstalled it from my HTC HD2, but I don't get further than I have to enter my PIN-Code...
It says the HTC Sense can't start.

Hi , There is not someone who can help me please? it's very simple to do it. go to setting then apps, there are 3 points Above, press on it and click show system process, look for an application called multi-window or multitasking ( the one I uninstalled ) make a backup for this app and post it here . I would not like to format my phone for this application, I will lose google service and downgrade, too much work to do

What are the applications related to multitasking?
I remember that, I uninstalled this application I don't remember its name, because my phone is in French.
i was disabling and uninstalling apps which i don't need and i made this error
