Hey all, the reason we made this second thread was mainly because Horrorview only has one post on his thread so its hard to give you much more than the basics of the theme. Also alot of questions are cloggging up that thread, so I thought I could answer them here, and index them so they aren't asked twice. Also as originally promissed I will have up here cabs for individual parts of the theme, for people who like certain bits but not others (picky people ). We will continue to make this theme better and better, and so any small fixes or maintenance cabs I will post here too

Question: I installed your theme and my wallpaper hasnt changed / my top and bottom bars havent changed / I am incapable of reading the first post on the themes thread
Answer:
OUR THEME DOES NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES TO THE TOP AND BOTTOM BAR OF YOUR PHONES, AS IT IS NOT PRACTICAL AND DIFFERENT WAYS ARE REQUIRED FOR DIFFERENT WINDOWS MOBILE AND SENSE VERSIONS. WE HAVE ATTACHED THE WALLPAPERS SO YOU CAN SET THEM HOWEVER YOU LIKE, HERE ARE THERE BEST WAYS TO SET YOUR WALLPAPER: INCLUDING LINKS.
NEW: I have made a cab (thanks to ElCondor for showing me how and making the basis of it) which is ONLY FOR 6.5.X Versions Of Windows Mobile (In other words, only if your start button is at the bottom left of the screen). This cab will skin the top and bottom bars for you and then all you have to do is set the wallpaper in HTC sense as normal (settings tab>personalize>home tab wallpaper) This is a very easy way to get your home screen to look exactly like it should in the screenshots, however the other tabs will not be skinned this way, so I also reccomend you install BG4ALL.
NOTE: Skinning the bars this way will mean that the lockscreen wallpaper will not match up to the bars when in the start menu, so I recomend settings the same wallpaper for both the lockscreen and home screen

HD Wall
-Skins the top and bottom of your phone, and gives your a high quality wallpaper, you must make HDWalls in the form of cab files, Horrorview has kindly made you a HDWall cab which should be compaitble with all latest manila versions, specifically 2.5.2012... but I also belive it will work for 2.5.1922. Before you install a HDWall, you must install Co0kie Monsters High Quality wallpaper patch for your specific version of manila, if you are not sure which version you are running, then to check do the following:
Settings Tab>about phone>software information and look under Manila version.

VolDeus's BG Tweak for Sense UI 2.5
To use this program you must have a couple of small files kept on your memory card, then you just install his cab and follow the guide on his thread so understand how to use it, I personally prefer this way as it lets you set how transparent they are, for example you could make them semi transparent. (full transparent=0)

BG4All
Although this doesnt skin the top and bottom bars, and it doesnt do HQ, this is a nice option for people who just want to have the wallpaper throughout the whole phone (all tabs) without too much fuss. I also belive HQBG4All will be out in the near future, I will post a link when it is

Manually Settings The Home and Lock Wallpaper
These can be done through the manila interface by going to the settings tab>personalize and then changing each one manually, the lock screen with be HQ as always, however the home wallpaper will (in my opinion) look poor quality and will only be on the home tab

Pardon the newb questions but I am now unable to change my lockscreen wallpaper, but more importantly i don't know to change the icons for each relevant application. I tried using the co0kies editor with no success. Please assist. Great theme by the way.

I will release the sperate parts tonight however we are having a few problems with the compass skin as there are many different builds, you will be welcome to try it, but if it does not work then sorry, uninstall it and wait a while whilst we try to fix it

no i meant mp3 sound files like ring tones and system notifications which reference sounds of the game to finish the theme off
I'm using a TG01 with manila 2.5.20x Rom and I'm having a bit of trouble with this theme atm. namely programs such as marketplace not installing, weather (i know there is a fix just havnt got round to it) random opera and IE closing, and facebook is able to see updates but not enter them

Hmmmm...that's not good!! Did all of this start after you installed the theme? Most of those problems sound like the stuff that went wrong with my HD2 before applying all the tweaks I found on this forum. As Star said, our theme is Manila based, so it shouldn't have any effect on your programs at all.

(this utility is a great tool - there are numerous adjustments at your fingertips/ stylus-tip!) I might add that in all ROMS - all of the items worked wonderfully - I am partial to 6.5 over 6.5.3, as the former is noticeably smoother than the latter (in my own experience - your mileage may vary).
Max TF3D Theme Maker v4.1 works, at least for what I use it for, which is to set the top and bottom curtains to change with the background - maybe someone can suggest a better way? I have tried other methods in the past - this has been the most consistent ROM to ROM. Don't forget to install sdkcert.cab, as well - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1411617&postcount=7 - here is Max Theme Maker link - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=493011 - this thread contains a ridiculous amount of possible customizations to Sense - please, look through this thread!
If there is one thing I have found to be true, it is that it's nearly impossible for two phones to react exactly the same, as every piece of software installed after initial flash contributes to the functionality. It seems that if I install all of my interface components first, things run smoother - the same as the desktop world - base system and drivers first, then tools, the fun and games - following this advice has steered me clear of many problems!

One question which perhaps a more experienced member can answer: how come when my Topaz is in landscape, my wallpaper does not cover the entire landscape space - there is a empty black block to the left! - rotation is quick and very close to good (minor glitches from time to time...) - I could post a screen
Energy recently has included BsB Tweaks 1.6 in his ROMs - cannot attach a link for this, as I am still a newer member (remember all, the search function is there for us to use) - tonight I am going to see which is better, BsB or Gaz TD2 Tools - I will happily report my findings - anyone else bored enough or who has got the time to test out this new Sense and the add-ons we have available to us should please report your findings here!

You should have 2 wallpaper files in your windows directory, stwater_400_800.jpg and stwater_800_400.jpg, the latter is your landscape wallpaper. Check it and make sure it is the right resolution.
I did not have much success with BsB as it is for the HD and many tweaks wil not work, so the TD2 Tweak is better IMO.

Bruce - thanks for the tip - I tried replacing my stwater-jpgs - no luck - still have a block on the right of the screen in landscape - this time with !Aman!'s TESS Leo IV - (excellent ROM, by the way) - I installed HDWall - and downloaded some cabs - but with NhatHoa's 21890 ROM I had no luck - I did no further experimentation, as I have very little time to devote to my phone - I am happy to flash and test and play when time allows! I am awaiting maxycy's next Max Manilla - I believe I read in the Max Manilla thread here on xda that Max Manilla 2.7 is functioning with Sense 2.5.20113030.0, with a tweak in the registry concerning landscape - I have not tried it myself, but if anyone does, please share your results - don't forget to include what ROM you are running!

Instructions:

* Install CoOkie's Home Tab - I bet you have it
* extract the ZIP and copy the CAB to your device.
* disable Sense in Settings --> Home
* install the CAB
* enable Sense again
* if you have an analog clock enabled layout in CoOkie's HT you now will see the Metro analog clock

Metro Operawell the original Opera Icon down't fit to the design. So I made a new one which looks like this:

Metro ThumbCaldo you use the very finger friendly ThumbCal? Guess what: I've got a Metro design for that! Grab the attacked "skin.Metro.zip" - put the ZIP in the installation dir of ThumbCal and select it as your design!
Metro Slide2Shutdowndo you use "Slide2Shutdown" (please do a search - I lost the thread)? I do! And I want it in Metro design Download the "gfx.zip", extract it and replace the files in the gfx directory in your Slide2Shutdown installation directory.

Would it be possible to make slider icons for Ereader and Documents tab aswell ?
Im not sure if these are already part of the theme as I have them both installed as seperate cabs and they still have the original icons not the Metro themed ones !

Yeh I did read that, I thought you may have added other files into the slider cab, because when i install the cab my clock totally disappears with my calendar borders as well.

No - I didn't do anything with the slider. All that stuff belongs to Zitoun

Incidentally, your screenshots above do not show a feint grey line between the date and alarm on the home screen? Do you know why I have one?
And also, as mentioned above, it would appear that the digital clock is completely black.

Download the attached ZIP, extract it and copy the manila file into your Windows folder on the device - softreset
Should be ok...

The clock is part of the slider and not my work - download another digital clock which can be found here in this subforum and install it...

Mega-theme. The more I look at it, the more I like it. Brilliant!
Couple more things I think would fit with the theme.
With Cookie's Home Tab 1.7.1, when you scroll down to see the full quicklist, it would be nice if the date/time/alarm background was all black (or see-through). Same goes for the notification bar when you use it full screen (icons only, like in your screenshots, are not affected by this).
Of course, these are just suggestions. You probably knew about this already.

With Cookie's Home Tab 1.7.1, when you scroll down to see the full quicklist, it would be nice if the date/time/alarm background was all black (or see-through). Same goes for the notification bar when you use it full screen (icons only, like in your screenshots, are not affected by this).
Of course, these are just suggestions. You probably knew about this already.

I will when I'm done. But atm I'm facing some problems..
I can't change all icons because the Icon Changer doesn't show me all the quicklinks and subfolders.
There is no white icon for the active tab on the slider bar, just the blue background.
I'm on the latest Energy ROM, and installed the stock taskbar since it fits more with your theme, but the speaker icon is still the old one.
These are mods I made for myself and I am sharing it to those who might have similar tastes as I do
The slider is based on cryst_666 slider from the TOUCH HD forum. 90% of the icons have been completely changed and modified to suit my taste and blue (and black) theme.
The cab for the slider does not include the slider selection tool so this has nothing to do with Anastasia theme AT ALL. You may use your own slider selection.
I only tested all of the mods on my phone (phone info in signature) so install at your own risk.
IMPORTANT: If you are installing newer versions of any cabs, it is best to uninstall previous versions before installing new ones.

Slider v3.x Add-on: New matching icons for Internet tab and Slider
The whole slider is NOT included. This is only an add-on. This will replace the internet icon in the slider and in the tab itself. A matching blue search button icon also included. Two versions available depending on your slider selection tool. Version A and version B are for solid and transparent slider selection tool, respectively. Download in post #3.

Blue Calendar Number Add-On for v3.0 A only
If you use v3.0 A and you would like to change the color of the numbers on the calendar icons from black to blue, then install the cab in post #2. This cab also fixes the position of the numbers so that it is more centered (screen shot here). You can always go back to original settings if you install the Original Calendar Icon Numbers cab.
**In v3.0 B, the fix is already included in the slider cab.
**No need for this cab in the most recent version. It is already included in v3.2 A.

Cool Blue Slider v3.0
Two versions available: v3.0 A is for those with solid slider selection and v3.0 B is for those with transparent slider selection. Thanks to Lutanica for working on the bugs when using a transparent slider selection.
So what is new in this slider version? A lot of the icons are replaced with more higher-quality graphics. Facebook, Call History and Ebook tab icons are also skinned. I do not have these tabs myself so I would appreciate screen shots or bug reports.
This slider took a lot of time to put together so please leave with a comment.

Cool Blue Slider v2.1 plus Ebook Tab Calendar Number Bug FIX
Thanks to Dic3ptor and Lutanica, the bug of the mirror effect on the calendar icon is gone. Please download the fix in post #90. However, the number on the big calendar icon is a bit smaller and off-center vertical-wise. I am still currently working on it, so for now, kindly download the fix separately in Lutanica's post. In the next version, everything will be fixed and will be in one cab.

This is for those who use a transparent slider selection graphic like I do. I managed to figure out which manila files to edit BUT there is a slight bug which I do not know how to fix. There is misalignment on the number in the small calendar icon. Please if you know of a solution, let me know and I will fix it. Until then I will be on the lookout and will do some research.

The house really does look good on the phone. You have to install it to appreciate it. It looks blah in the pics above but the phone does wonders to it.

(NOTE: In this screenshot I have installed a cab that elminates the start menu softkey. It is from the HD Mini phone and is widely available on the forums, I suggest searching if you dont already have it)
NOTE: These are made to be used with Cookie Home Tab 1.8.5. CHT lets you skin the taskbar and softkey bar in one step. If you're not using CHT 1.8.5 please don't ask to how to skin your softkey bar or taskbar. It is possible, and I can point you in the direction of VolDeus' BGTweak program.

Softkey bar and taskbar skinning for dummies (WM 6.5.x)
If you skin your taskbar and softkey bar with CHT and it looks out of proportion...first it's probably because you're not using the official version of the GTX 1.8.5 release. Either your rom has a fudgy custom version of GTX on 1.8.5 or you installed one yourself. You should use a rom with GTX cht 1.8.5 cooked in. But if you install GTX 1.8.5 over your current version of sense then many issues can arrise...anyway...
If you're still having problems here is what to do...simply use the program BGTweak to skin the taskbar. The process goes like this. PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE YOU DO THIS
1.) Install BGTweak (attatched file) to your phone
2.)Use BG tweak to skin taskbar and softkey bar (enable "fake transparency", and disable "high quality" mode)
3.)Now you must un-install BGtweak so that your CHT wallpapers will work.
4.)That's it, HOWEVER, if you want to change your taskbar and softkeybar again you must follow steps 1-3 again. You can repeat this process as many times as you want it wont cause any issues with the phone. (if you want to get your default taskbars back just change your windows mobile theme from one theme then back to the other)

Oh...ok, i´m using Goatrip GTX v4.9 with CHT (1.8.5) and an moddet version of the old GTX-Style (1.7.1).
So i would update my ROM => with the new GTX-Files

I will absolutely be making more color options. I appreciate the fact that you guys like this wallpaper. I can make the stripe any color (I use Adobe Photoshop, it's an expensive program, but I'm actually a professional graphic designer lol) and I will post pics with full preview and all. Give me a few days and I'll update it with...

MAYBE I will even make some where the stripe is the flag of a particular country...but as you can see I like to go all out with my graphics and I would want to find a way to make the flags look good and not just do it quickly.

These walls are meant to be full screen, cropping is possible on your own if you use Cookie Home Tab to set your wallpaper, simply select the sense wallpaper to be changed and not the taskbar.

This is because you are not using the correct version of Windows Mobile.
Your ROM has Windows Mobile 6.5
You need a rom with Windows Mobile 6.5.3 or Windows Mobile 6.5.5
Find the best / most stable 6.5.3 or 6.5.5 rom for your phone...you should get the newest ROM possible with GTX 1.8.5 pre installed

Uninstall Instructions
For those that wish to uninstall, in most instances, you can just uninstall the app. If that doesn't work, than you can use Dutty's Default LockScreen App to reset to default HTC lockscreen. (I would post myself, but I don't want to be mistaken as the Author of his app.)
Energy ROM Advanced Feature
Thanks to NRG who created the Energy ROMs, those running Engergy ROMs have a nice feature that lets you switch between two different LockScreens with ease. By default, my LockScreen when installed will set itself as the default LockScreen on most ROMs. To switch back to the Energy ROM default, go to Settings > Personal and click on the icon for changing the LockScreen, reset your phone. After reboot the default is set again.

Does energy rom have oboe lockscreen? if so you must overwrite it with standard one and then try the cab. oboe looks like hdmini lockscreen.

As for the color issue, I'm not sure what that might be. It does not appear on my phone.
It may be that you see the slider fade and then fade back in, if that is the case there is not to much that can be done without me taking some transitions out. I will try a few things to try and minimize this.

yes i meant the slider fade when you press/unpress the slider. Can see you on the pic that the slider has 2 colors? its like its cut. darker at the button and lighter to the left.

ah, yes. I am doing the slider like how it is on The Android OS. The color discrepency that you are seeing is similar to what the slider is on Android. I'll be sure to make a version without that, but for now know that it was intentional
