If I bookmark something with Browser, I can make a shortcut to it on my desktop, and my bookmarks widget picks it up. If I bookmark with anything better, like Dolphin or Opera, they don't get that ability.
Any fix to this?
Sometimes within a webpage there will be a scroll box without any handles. How do you scroll within that box with the gtab? I'm using dolphin HD.
It seems that the Dolphin Browser developers are very active these days. They make Dolphin Browser Mini the first online pdf viewer supported mobile browser, update the select text style in Dolphin Browser HD. But the most exciting news is that they are going to release a Dolphin Browser for pad! This new has been proved by its official blog post.
As an honest fan of Dolphin Browser, I have to say I am really looking forward to this new browser for pad. Although I haven’t experienced this new browser yet, it looks pretty cool. Besides keeping all the good features in Dolphin Browsers: Add-on, Gesture, Multi touch Pinch Zoom, Bookmark Sync, Bookmarks Sorting, Data Backup & Data Restore, Private Browsing, etc. , it innovates the traditional browsing experience----webzine. This sounds like that browsing is no longer browsing, but reading. The Dolphin Browser developers are going to stir another browsing revolution! However, my only concern is its speed. I don’t expect its speed being what they promised----with Dolphin Browser Mini’s level of speed, but I sincerely hope it could be faster than Dolphin Browser HD.
Anyway, I am really curious how this new dolphin could be. So I just registered, and am waiting for their beta invitation.
cool, the pad version works perfect on my Samsung Galaxy Tab.
But i can not find the fantastic sign for Gesture as on the phone.
You can find the Gesture button in the upper right corner, next to the address bar.

Since I'm a beta tester for Dolphin I pull the apks from my phone as soon as I get them. A New BETA version 10.1.1 beta 2 is available in my dropbox folder.
I have my settings set to "Desktop" agent and flash to "always on" and of course I downloaded the latest flash apk 11.1.115.89 from my Dropbox folder first. If you don't use this version the youtube videos will play but there will be no control buttons at the bottom of your videos.
I also recommend downloading Dolphin Jet Pack. Get it here. It makes the already awesome browser FASTER (and more stable on these beta builds...no crashes)
