Samsung Omnia ROM (Bell)

Hi all,
Was wondering if anyone has a canadian ROM for the Samsung omnia (Bell),
My omnia is dead & I'm looking for this ROM

stuck with a bloated 6.1 sux

I've found quite a few threads on various forums which have been asking for a bell rom upgrade so I'm searching for help here (as well as at ppcgeeks) for instructions on how to dump my rom. I could help by dumping my rom in efforts that someone can strip it of all the various crap that bell has put on this device and maybe even update us bell omnia users to 6.5 but I have NO idea on what the steps are. Help would be appreciated.

Windows Mobile 6.5

I wanted to know if i can install 6.5 on my touch pro (verizon) and if so where do i get it?

6.5 hasn't been released it is due to be released Oct 6th

go to the Raphael Rom Development forum and be sure to READ the stickies of how to flash a rom. Then choose from one of the roms provided by XDA's amazing chefs!
Also i think you need to spend some time in the wiki seeing as how your asking such a basic question.

Remember you have a CDMA phone not GSM, so make sure you check out the CDMA area and make sure you flash the right hard SPL & ROMs otherwise you will brick your phone.

Sprint Tp2 trying to get 6.5

Ok i got my phone a good 3 weeks ago and i love it even if its on sprint after searching alot i got bord of it and needed STEPS on how to get from wm 6.1 to 6.5 i know sprint has not released it so i wanted to flash it on Im new to this so i dont know anything really so what im asking is for someone to tell me how step by step i mean everything im really noob so i need noob steps
I tried once to unlock it but got confused and a error came up so i need every step to get from wm 6.1 to 6.5 or at least i want manila 2.5 or 2.6 download links for everything i need plz
Ps. Is there a way i can keep my sprint apps i like sprint TV

go on ppcgeeks..ppcgeeks is more of a hands on with CDMA(sprint/verizon/telus) phones..and flashing your phone is easy as 123..just search and read..WARNING..flashing is very addicting..lol..

HTC TP2 on METRO PCS custom ROM???

Can I also have my HTC TP2 on METRO PCS and install one of these cooked roms released here?? Will I be able to get the web access and mms that way? Sorry for the noob question but I have been reading around the forum for litterally 2 hours and didnt find any answers. Please help guys. Thanks!

UNLOCK//ROOT>>mYtouch 4G ?

hey im new to this forum...im a RAZR MAXX owner ....but i recently was given a t-mobile mytouch 4g, dont know if this is the correct forum but if someone can help...please do....anyways i am trying to unlock the phone so my wife can use her metro account on it and also root it so i can start playing with it for her lol...so anyone that can help me here, it would be greatly appreciated....and again, im not sure if this is the correct forum, i know its a t-mobile HTC mytouch 4G....but i dont see any GLACIER written on it anywhere....but still help me if you can, thanks so much!

Metro as in MetroPCS? If so, MetroPCS only works with CDMA phones. The Glacier/MyTouch 4G is a GSM phone.

so basically there is nothing to be done lol....well anyways, i have the MAXX for VZW and originally it was CDMA but as of last month the ICS ota came through and now its GSM capable...so can i swap my sim to the mytouch just for ****s....if so, how do i unlock it and root ?

Mod Edit: Do not flame..
If you are on Gingerbread, you'll need to downgrade to FroYo to root. Go here.
Once on Froyo, use this to attain S-Off.
Then flash a custom recovery like Clockworkmod or 4EXT (my favorite) and flash away.
If you ask what the best ROM is I'll find you and stab you to death It will be out of kindness, I assure you.
The above statement is probably against the rules and may get me an infraction. :fingers-crossed:
