TCMP and youtube - flv plugin

i didn't see anyone posting this before - i just found out about this plugin, i tried it and it works! for all of you who are tired of converting flv to avi in order to watch it on your ppc, theres a solution. it also comes with utilities to ease the downloading of video from youtube.com, i tried, also works a charm. good luck, and thanks to the creators!
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=196939
I don't able to play the video:
I put the 3 files in the tcmp folder (in sd card)
I don't able to play the video on the you-tube page
and I don't able to play the video flv (downloaded by youtubedownload.exe) on the player
I run O.72 version with the plugin of 0.81
How you get it successfully?
thanks
Enough only to put the two files .flv in the root TCPMP.
With the others files you are able to download the tape directly on ppc, enough to launch YouTube Download on device..

you mean .plg files i assume. but right, that's what you should do. then also you can edit options>preferences>file associations in tcpmp so then you can launch tcpmp doubleclicking flv file (it is called flash video in options)
uvz: i don't know what's wrong - it works with tcpmp v. 0.71 - my plugin version is 0.2, have no idea how can i help :/
ok, I found the reason..
The 3 files I downloaded was all exe file (??)
I download the zip folder in other place and I found the correctly .plg files.
So now I can play the video on tcpmp, by downloading with the exe.
But I'm not able to stream video directly from you-tube page: it's normal?
I can only download the video and then play with tcpmp, or there are a possibility to open and play directly from the you-tube page by streaming with tcpmp?
Finnaly... I'm now able to play .flv files... horray!!!
I've copied the flv plugin to the TCMP folder and I think they're correctly installed. However when playing youtube vids, it connects to HTC Streaming Media which unfortunately doesn't run vids on my Kaisser.
Do I have to remove streaming Media so that youtube would connect to TCMP when vids are selected? How can I select streaming media into my TCMP?
Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.
TCPMP streaming problems with WM6
I have an HTC touch cruise with wm6 and I am unable to stream flv files.
I have installed the TCPMP program and I think I installed tcpmp plugin 0.4.2.
When I install the plug in, do the files automatically install themselves in the TCPMP root file??? and how are they identified.
It shows in my settings/system/Remove programs , the TCPMP and TCPMP plugin are both installed Could some one please post step by step install instruction or direct me to one .
Thanks

problems playing .wmv videos with tcpmp 0.81 RC1 Beta

hey guys, i have some full family guy episodes (~200 mbs) that i wanna put on my dash. when i sync them through windows media player on my desktop, it converts them to .wmv to make them about ~25 mbs. however, now i cant play them on my tcpmp player. when i try to open it gives me 2 error messages:
Player: Audio codec (windows media audio) not supported by player
Player: video codec (windows media video 9) not supported by player.
any help would be helpful... and yes i did go to file associations and make sure that .wmv is checked off, thanks

whereever you have installed your core player just put the files below into and heypresto your up and running - saving lots of time batch converting etc..
Remember you may not see the files in the device window as they are hidden files... if you want to see them I am sure you know what to do...

How to save youtube files?

Is there a legal and easy way to save youtube flv files?
In symbian I used the emtube player, is there a way to do this in windows mobile?
I use the Flash Video Bundle. When you install it, it directs all Youtube URLs to TCPMP. Before the player starts, you have the option to save the video, but it saves it as a file and you can't watch the video while it's downloading.
It's not elegant but it works. Ideally I'd like to use a program that records while streaming.
have you tried W.V.D. search for it on here its called Web Video Downloader.

[Q] Show more video types (.mov) in Gallery?

I get a lot of video clips sent to me through Whatsapp ( a messenger type application). Since a lot of my friends are on iPhones, the video files are in .mov format.
I can easily see and play these files if I go to them directly in the storage folder of the Whatsapp application. HOWEVER the video files do not show up in the video tab of the HTC Gallery app, ie it doesnt recognise .mov as video files.
Any solution, eg to register .mov as a gllery video file, etc or anything else?
Thanks!
rename them to *.mp4 then they play in Gallery
.mo. files

There is an app called "TubeMate" that can download from YouTube, it has the option to download in various video and audio formats, one of them is you can choose to download as MP3. I believe when you install the TubeMate app and open it, it will prompt you to install a MP3 converter app and will have the option to install it for you.
Here's a link to TubeMate, install it, open it, search for video/music, select what you want to download, then tap the green download arrow at the top left, it will ask you which format you want to download in, select Audio M4A or MP3, it will prompt you to install MP3 converter, tap yes or ok, it will take you to Playstore, install MP3 converter, then go back to TubeMate and what you want to download, tap the green download arrow at top again, continue to confirm your selections and it will download and convert it for you in whatever format you chose.

Use TubeMate and Snaptube app to download YouTube videos in Avi,mp4,3gp or in mp3 format that you want. There are many apps available on play store that can extract mp3 from your downloaded videos.

TubeMate and the MP3 converter that TubeMate prompts you to install is all that's needed, it automatically converts to whatever format you choose when you download content from YouTube with no extra steps involved. All you do is search, select download, select format and confirm then it does the rest for you.

I know all of these.
Snaptube is similar app to TubeMate.
For download YouTube videos people's can also use OGYouTube or arktube app.
These both also work like TubeMate and Snaptube.
Kitkat ?
I now use the app "YT mini" which you can download from Google Playstore and helped me with my problem.
Better use videoder app. It can download YouTube videos by channels and download whole playlist at once. You can also download from others sites too.
